It's about my 4 th time going to this store and I was motivated by a 30% cash back from Upside App. Regardless of the discount the staff has always been kind & efficient. Store is beautifully decorated for Valentine's Day. They actually have several large diner like booths if you wanted to hang out and a couch. My only complaint is that it was too cold to hang out. Really disappointed - giving 3 stars because the staff is a 5 but the drinks/product are a 1. I do not think they are being properly trained or given the correct product to serve. The last few months the drinks have gone downhill as you can see in other reviews. They are watery, VERY dark, and for the price you are paying it is just not worth the risk. I was a regular and lately 5/7 days a week my drink was undrinkable. I tried to contact the franchise owner but they never got back to me. There are other Dunkin in the area that are much better, so even though this location was more convenient for my commute, I have started going elsewhere where I get an amazing drink every time. Examples are Matthews-Mint Hill road, Blair creek road and Kings Drive. I rarely ever come to Dunkin Donuts, but when I do, it's usually for their food. This location usually takes a while whether you go through their drive-thru or walk inside. I came this morning around 8:20am and was done by 8:40am. Honestly, their coffee is always either hit or miss. Their food is delicious, though. They have a wide variety of different sandwiches and bites, and they are always delicious and very inexpensive. Now, this location is pretty sketch. There is always a fight or argument going on whenever I've come to this location. They are also always short staffed, hence the big waiting time. Other than that, their employees I've encountered have been nice and never rude. They have a spacious parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. read more

I used the drive thru last Tuesday, 11-23 for national espresso day. It'd been a while since I used this location due to a previous issue with a young lady at the drive thru window. It was a cold Tuesday. I didn't really know which drink I wanted as long as it was hot. I asked the young man about the new flavors. He gave me a few choices & I tried the white chocolate. As the young man was handing me my drink, he must've noticed that the lid wasn't all the way on the cup. He started pushing the lid down the moment it was in my hand & I thanked him. So I would say pretty much all Dunkin locations are alike. Maybe only differing when there is a Baskin Robbins attached. What helps to make one location better than another is the staff. The staff I spoke to hear was very nice and helpful. I would say 4 star level. I have to knock them down because my drink wasn't very good. My iced chai latte was super bland. It wasn't sweet and I didn't taste any chai spices. I didn't feel like it was much more than a cup of milk on ice. The hash browns from the snackin menu were a bit overdone as well. I guess if I order a different drink that they make well, they will have a better rating. So because of that, I'd visit again if in the area. read more

Today was grand opening today (first day of summer)! I anticipated the opening and decided to come after work. I got a small butter pecan ice coffee in dark roast . The employees in the drive thru don't know how to treat customers. I said two sausage egg and cheese with coffee and hasbrowns. I was missing one hashbrown and a coffee. I nicely said i was missing those items. Instead of charging me extra for the missing items, they start arguing with me. They start arguing I didn't said that in my order and one of them said "we don't sell combos". It was so simple to just charge me extra for the items. This is a great location. I frequently drive through here and orders are always correct. Coffee is hot and fresh, and bagels always as ordered. The staff are friendly and polite for the most part --there is the occasional happy camper working the window but aside from that, typically a good experience. Typical Dunkin serving what you'd expect --coffee, hot and cold, bagels, muffins, doughnuts, coffee cakes and more. Very easy on and off from the main road, though it's not easy to spot --look for the Dunkin sign --the store is buried behind trees. Prices are what you'd expect from Dunkin and overall always a good experience. read more

I have been to this Dunkin' several times and each time have had a bad experience. The first time I went I greeted the lady at the window as I always do and she ignored me. She just reached her hand out for my card and still said nothing. I sat at the window for 7 minutes waiting for my order and nobody said anything to me, not even a 'hello'. When I went today I specifically asked for oatmilk and was given whole milk. I repeated my order twice at the call box stating I wanted oatmilk. I am severely lactose intolerant and did not realize until I was halfway home. So far it's a nice location that is a little hidden a bit off 74/ independence. There is plenty of parking and a drive through. It sits off by itself with nothing close by beside car shops. The staff have been nice and welcoming when I have come into this location. They have gotten my order right the times I have come. Each time I have come the staff do engage in side conversations and seem really involved in whatever they are talking about. Overall the place is clean in the morning and may not be fully stocked of items like napkins in the lobby. The donuts are good. I like the sour cream one. I have used the drive though and come in. I would give it ZERO stars if I could!! The lady Julie had blue hair and was working at drive thru window today was TERRIBLE!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Very unprofessional and rude!! when I pulled up to the window, she just said the total. No greeting or anything. Then when she gave me my order, I advised it was wrong! It was supposed to be a frozen drink and she gave me a latte. I know someone that works at a different location and her snapchat is constantly videos of her and coworkers taking smoke breaks. With that's being said that's why I always choose Starbucks. (I know that's silly but at DD I see the workers always smoking) This morning I wasn't able to make it to Starbucks so I went to the Dunkin Donuts by my job... I attached a photo showing exactly what I saw when I went to the pick up counter inside... It was absolutely disgusting. Reading over the reviews of this location I'm not surprised about the interaction I just had with an employee who was unbelievably rude. Obviously there is a communication issue with the machine or the employee is just flat out rude to make it nearly impossible for anyone to order. When I repeated my coffee order for the 4th time he finally got me and said "Jesus you should've said that then". I work in the service industry and the fact that this isn't his first time remarking like this to guests shows poor management. How can you let someone this rude continue to represent your brand and let one bad apple continue to turn customers away? Of course, I won't be returning. This location is a bit tucked away from Independence and is really catered toward the drive thru. I'm a New Yorker, I have had Dunkin' Donuts coffee all my life. I wish Yelp would allow me to give this particular location a ZERO star. They DONT care about what they serve. Their coffee is always cold, if you ask them for hazelnut, they will give you vanilla bean, if you ask them for dark roast(midnight) they give you regular coffee. There is no consistency at all. They give u the cup while there's coffee leaking, the lid is very dirty, the cup itself is dirty with stains! There is NO quality at all! They ruin my day At least once or twice a week. It's unfortunate that this is the only place I can get coffee before reaching the school I go to. After today, I will make sure to never go there again, even if I don't get to drink coffee anymore. First off they don't listen because they screwed up my order and I requested the manager and was told her name was Vickey and she's hardly there to assist. I stopped by to grab a quick bite to eat before an event. I went through the drive thru, I don't eat at Dunkin Donuts often and am not too familiar with the menu so I asked about one of the menu options. I asked whether or not the bagel with cheese came as a meal and the woman working the drive thru ignored my question at first then said "I don't know, more than likely" after I asked again. My simple question did not warrant such a nasty response. So I went into the store to speak with a manager who was not helpful at all. She offered me a discount or a free coffee (I don't drink coffee.) I ended up leaving with a free tea that I didn't want. The manager should have reprimanded the employee.
