We put in a giant mobile order moments before we pulled up. We had started out at another Dunkin but the floors were gross and they were unfortunately really understaffed/not acknowledging customers inside so we left. The group at this location, though, we're legitimately hustling and processed our order quickly and accurately. Definitely worth the drive thank you team! read more

Stopped to get an iced cappuccino, and it was a pretty shaky experience all around. An employee was walking very close to the drive thru lane, so I waved politely to let him know I saw him. He just looked at me straight-faced and staring, turning his head as I drove by, staring and never waving back. Weird... Next, I ordered the cappuccino, and the guy at the drive thru window (different guy) said, "Do you need a straw sir?" I replied yes, and he said, "Okay, great!! You have a nice day, Mr." He proceeded to walk away without giving me a straw. Again, so weird... Now on to the actual cappuccino--5 sips in and I struck an iceberg!!! 10% coffee, 90% ice below the surface. That thing would have taken down the Titanic!! Okay, that last bit was in poor taste, but so was the product, and so was Dunkin' customer service... read more

Long lines, wrong orders and bad attitudes. This is a me of the worst DD I've ever been to. I would rather not eat/drink than go here again. read more

Non existent customer service, frequent wrongful orders and or just hard old donuts. Employees here seem to lack any interest in doing a good job. I could here the employees yelling and cursing while in the drive thru. Ghetto AF read more

Dunkin' - Donuts Near Me - Matthews, North Carolina

Google rates this location as 3.6 stars with 208 Google reviews ... don't believe it, must be the franchise owners family. -- Always wanted to stop in. On more then several occasions I drove in only to see a staff member standing near the door smoking. It's not very inviting. On other occasions they're out of items. The dirty front door and really dirty drive in window is pretty crappy. Oh; back to this week. I stop at about 7:15 on Thursday night. Two of America's fine young people are working there. On walked up to the counter holding is cell phone and held it the whole time talking to me gee I'm sorry I interrupted his play time. The other guy, you know the one with the long hair and no head covering was swinging a mop around the food area. Pretty disgusting place ... go about 100 yards and there's a Kirspy Kreeme. This is gross! read more

Very poor customer service, the staff was very rude and it looked like i was over charged an when i asked about it multiple people came up to the window almost to gang up on me when i asked about it. They were very demeaning and rude, definitely will make the trip up to Starbucks and stay clear of this Dunkin! If i wanted to be treated like this i would have went to Popeyes! read more

Awful, walked there and arrived at 6:15am. They had been open since 5am and 4 employees inside and they refused to unlock the door and said I had to go to the drive through which I could not. I went to Krispy Kreme read more

Just had the most unprofessional service from there. I got to the drive thru around 7:54 pm & I didn't realize the store closed at 8pm. The young girl greeted me and asked if I'd like to try their red velvet latte. I politely said no and asked for a couple of minutes to look over the menu. Once I was ready, I began to state my order. I didn't hear anything back, so I waited a couple of seconds and still nothing. I waited for another 2-3 mins saying "Hello? Hello?" So, I decided to drive up the window to order. Once she sees me, she hides. Then there was another gentlemen who saw me and proceeded to do whatever he was doing on his monitor. After a a couple of minutes, he also hides. I look up at one of their screens and it says "this store is temporarily closed." I look at my time and it's 8:01 & I figured the store closed at 8pm. No acknowledgement what's so ever. The young lady literally left me hanging when I had my order ready before 8 pm. So unprofessional. The least the could have done was speak to me & give me a weak explanation on how they couldn't serve me as a customer before closing time. What makes it more upsetting is that the girl purposely ignored me so that she could justify to herself that I didn't "order" before they closed. Do better please. Hire better staff. read more

Wasn't surprised when I read the other reviews and they're experience was equally bad. I just came here for the same thing hopefully they get new staff I get to the window and they don't even know what I ordered and allowed me to forgot my drink read more

I love DD coffee and will typically tolerate a lot to get it. However the staff at this location will send me to Starbucks pretty quickly! This morning I was so rudely handled at the speaker by the drive-in attendant I was shocked and was actually contemplating asking to speak to the manager. (By the way I had a very simple order coffee and donuts nothing special not being high maintenance). Imagine my surprise when I pulled to the window and that same rude person is handling the remainder of my transaction. I see that she is actually wearing a name tag that says shift leader! Seriously Dunkin Donuts don't put leadership monikers on people who can't even provide basic common courtesy to your customers. Send Paige for some additional training and find somebody who actually likes people to handle your customers, and to lead your shifts. read more

This particular Dunkin' Donuts is so hot or miss depending on who is working. You can really tell who enjoys there job, and who is there for a paycheck. Both scenarios are cool, but I would prefer my coffee with out the extra sass. I do enjoy there coffee, and currently there is a peel and win promotion. I do like the cold brew better than the iced coffee. It has a better taste. read more

This place is a disaster... inconsistent... can get the same coffee 3 days in a row and it will be a crap shoot every time for what is in my cup... they NEVER get the order right... french crullers made without sugar? Dunkin why do you only have 1 blender? I ONLY started going to Dunkin because of my daughter loving The Charlie Remix.. This morning I try and order something because not everyone drinks COW MILK to my surprise they CAN NOT make a blended drink with almond or oat milk because of allergies WTH why are you a million dollar company with 1 blender? So you are incapable of serving everyone? Shame on you! Do better and I'll be sure to let Ms Demelio know!! It's 2021 people have all kinds of different diets SMH read more

This is the best DD in the area. Coffee is always made to order, food always fresh. Customer service for the most part is always good. Big shout out to the young guy with dreads and glasses. That young man always has great energy and a warm personality. Can't speak more highly of this location. read more

Jesus Christ, how's this place still open? These employees are the rudest people i've seen OMG how can you keep people like these working on a place that you should come to have a peaceful breakfast? They are mad all the time, they don't know how to treat people. Every time i come to get coffee at this place i leave stressed out and it's not just me! read more

Walked in and up to counter at 1:35pm on May 25th. Employee behind counter ignored me and proceeded to clean a machine. Looked at me a few times. I just assumed he wasn't working the counter as he was cleaning but he did have drive through headset on. 3 minutes later into my watching him he asked if I was ready to order. I explained to him I'd been ready and then all I got was attitude. Normal stop for us near the house but no more. read more

Inattentive, surly young woman waited on me, if you can call it that. Went to the bathroom and lo and behold not a square of toilet paper. The place was empty-no other customers at all. Nasty!!! I'm originally from NY and this what i grew up off of. This place is horrible. The donuts we're so dry, i didn't know what to do. Tasted like they were 2weeks old. They didn't even have FILLED DONUTS!!! Those are the best ones!!! read more

I'm both northerner and southerner born in AL. and raised in NY. So I love coffee and donuts for my coffee hit I go here every other morning just as I did when I lived in New Haven Ct. Nevertheless, I'm a true southerner when it comes to the donuts. The only ones I will eat here is the bow tie on the weekend and munchies throughout the week, but their croissants are really good not to be made fresh daily. The girls at the window knows me and can finish my small coffee 5 sugars ex, ex, cream sentence themselves it's funny to hear her say oh its you... Lol. I'm a fan and have been way before they made their entrance into the south (Charlotte). read more

Horrible service. I stopped at this location at approximately 9am today. I figured the drive thru would be a fast option to make a purchase. WRONG!!! There were 3 people ahead of me. I literally sat 5 minutes before the customs who was at the window received their order. At that point I decided against waiting another 5 for each customer in line ahead of me. Not sure if this is the norm, but you can exclude my business from your establishment. read more

Service was good but definitely don't order a bagel especially if you are used to having one at City Deli or Bruegger's. Ice Cream was yummy. read more

So far the coffee is just ok. Must be this location because it taste better back home in Columbus.

We came to this location, like we do every Saturday around 8a, and the doors were locked. The drive-through was open with a long line and there were two people inside, but no one else could get in (?). They then let the two people out and promptly locked the door again. Weird. read more

I am a hardcore Dunkin' Donuts fan because of this one in Matthews! They always get my order just right! I am always left satisfied! They make me smile and laugh all the time and really know how to brighten up someone's day! I love hanging out here because it offers such a comfy and friendly environment. I can't say enough good words to describe my favorite coffee shop! Thank you so much to you guys for making my life that much sweeter! I wish you all a lifetime more of success! I gave it four stars because there is always room for improvement (cleanliness wise and the occasional frowning employee.) read more

This place is so dirty and really bad customer service. And the worst thing is that on my last visit there and it will definitely be my last, the employee had a CAT in the back of the kitchen running around. Which is so incredibly unsanitary especially around the food. read more

Extremely slow! They need to hire more people at this location! Outside line wrapped around building and then inside only one person in line but waited ten min just to order. Tried calling to place order and no answer. read more

Since this location changed from the combo of dunkin donuts and baskin Robbins to just dunkin donuts it has been a mess. Seems like every time I go there they some how mess the order up. I went last Friday and the guy took my order, got to the window and paid, he told another guy to make my order not sure if he was over whelmed with my order of a latte and a coffee roll or was it because his pants were hanging to far down. Which I thought about a lot while I was waiting on my order, but seriously while he was making my order how many times did he pull at his pants possibly touching his underwear or worse. Got my order the whip cream was oozing out of the side, no sugar at all in any kind of way. I was so upset, I would gave taken it back but the traffic to get out of the drive way was crazy. I called to complain and got a manager that was helping out but no willing to help me the customer out imagine that...lol. Very disappointed read more

I come here quite often on my way to class, always going through the drive-thru.. line was wrapped around the building so I decided to go in. Walk in, there is a line to the door and one person on register. A woman a couple people ahead of me ordered donuts and had to show the cashier which donuts she was talking about, then she didn't know the difference between the coffee sizes. I finally get up to order and she repeats it back wrong so I correct her. She walks off to make it and low and behold, she has made it wrong. Someone tells her to add more syrup, she does and it still isn't right. After 3-4 tries the manager finally helps. I had been here for 30+ mins at this point, so I just told her not to worry about it I just wanted my money back, to which she responds "it'll be quicker to just make your coffee" but I insisted on a refund, it was just horrible service. So she chunks the coffee in the trash and snatches my card out of my hand, then hands me back my receipt, no card. I tell her how ridiculous it is that the line outside has gone down outside and no one has helped the woman on register and how she doesn't know the difference in the donuts and how to make the coffees and she says she is not completely there and she is new, that is not the way to train a new employee! Especially not on a busy day. I then proceed to ask for my debit card back and she slams it on the counter and says now get out of my store... I will be contacting the GM and Better Business Bureau and make sure everyone knows how terrible this location is. Wish I could give 0 stars for this location. read more

This is a horribly managed DD - just poor attitudes by just about all there (except for a nice young man who generally runs the front register). Every single time I go there I have an issue! Very rarely do I get a smile - most seem unhappy to be there. I've tried to give them numerous chances, but I give up. I haven't given up on DD, but I have certainly given up on this location! read more
