Hello to all and please read…read more I recently worked for Gourmet Donuts at 43 Airport Road in Fitchburg, MA and feel it's important to share a more detailed account of my experience for transparency and public awareness. During my time there, I made a consistent effort to maintain cleanliness and professionalism, especially while handling food. On one occasion, while assisting a customer, I was pulled away mid-order and reprimanded within earshot of that same customer for using "too many gloves" and "costing too much on my usage of gloves", which I tried explaining (before abruptly dismissed by the manager) that it was only to completely cover my palm's open wound injunction with store bandages that lost stickiness frequently. This was particularly concerning to me, as I was attempting to maintain proper hygiene due to a visible wound on my hand that required covering beyond the poor quality bandages. When I returned to the customer, he expressed discomfort with how the situation was handled, noting that it was inappropriate to interrupt service to address such concerns publicly. The interaction escalated further when he was charged an additional fee for a minor modification to his order per manager's order, which ultimately resulted in him becoming irate, refusing his order, demanding his money back immediately. This situation could have been handled more reasonably and professionally, if my manager agreed with me on waiving the less ice fee of $1.25 just this time and explaining that to this gentleman of only THIS time waiving it to complete the purchase with the customer in mind, instead her demand of me throwing it down the drain and dismissing the very unfortunate situation with a few words " that's just a customer who is that anyways". Additionally, I experienced repeated unprofessional behavior in the workplace, including being spoken to in a dismissive, hostile, and demeaning manner in front of customers. I observed negligent food safety practices by all employees, including handling and preparing sandwiches, bagels, and coffee with bare hands instead of using gloves and interchanging steps of then cashing out customers handling money, cards, and even personal patrons cell phones for Apple Pay. The most concerning incident occurred when I was pulled aside and questioned about a medical-related issue. I was asked to disclose personal health information, including medications and conditions, in a way that felt invasive and inappropriate. Comments were also made suggesting that my appearance due to sweating (in a hot, fast-paced environment without adequate ventilation nor AC/FAN) could negatively impact customers' willingness to accept food from me. This was both humiliating and deeply unprofessional. Following this interaction, I made the decision to leave, as I did not feel comfortable continuing in that environment. I have since reported these concerns through the appropriate channels, as I believe both employees and customers deserve to be treated with respect, professionalism, and basic standards of dignity. I am sharing this so others can make informed decisions. My hope is that meaningful changes are made moving forward. Thank you and God bless us all! Have a wonderful beautiful day...... summer is coming in great

I just wish the owner would have acknowledged this, instead of arguing with me. Stuff like this does happen!

They are located on N Main St, Leominster on a pretty busy main road. Pulling in, there are about 13 spots all around with an additional 5 spots in front of the connected business. Actually, now that I am writing this review and referencing Google Maps, I had no idea there were several more spots behind the business. Either way, it can be a little hectic if you pull into the lot during a busy hour as it can be tricky to wait or navigate around other people trying to back out of their spot. This place feels like a time capsule. Everything appears old fashioned and unchanged in the 13+ years I've been coming here. The large glass windows lets in a lot of natural light if you decide to stay in and eat. I've always had lovely interactions with all of the staff here. As expected the bagels here are top tier. I will admit I'm no bagel expert or snob, but even my amateur experience can recognize these guys sell bagels many quality tiers above store-bought bagels. My go-to item to get here is actually their Chicken Salad Club Panini. The bread is perfectly toasted, the raw onions have a great bite to them, the bacon adds more texture and saltiness and the tangy honey mustard ties it all together to make one of my most favorite sandwiches. Another treat I love to get is their Pistachio Muffin microwaved with butter. It is heavenly, as are a lot of their other muffins. As you approach the counter, they offer a lot of their cream cheeses for sale. I am obsessed with their French Vanilla cream cheese. I cannot recommend this place enough. 10/10

I went in as I always do when traveling back to Lunenburg where I grew up. I have always loved this spot as a local and it usually saves me a trip for buying local goods before I fly back to where I'm located now. I usually purchase their overprice maple syrup or a unique blueberry wine when I'm in a pinch and two other spots were closed that day, Hollis hills and Roots. However after waiting for the young cashier for legit 15 minutes going back to get her manager THREE times to find this overpriced maple syrup in their system. I was very pleasant in a good mood saying I wasn't in a rush because I had 30 minutes and it was the last thing I was doing before flying out. Then I payed for the syrup and their system crashed. They had to spend another 5 minutes getting it running again, when they went to run my card a second time it was denied. I said that's strange it hasn't EVER happened. So they said your going to have to figure it out, so I went to my car signed into my chase app and discovered I was already charged, so I went back inside and tried to show them that purchase along with others that had gone through that week. It clearly said 35$ from Lanni Orchards. At this point the young cashier went to get her manager for the 4th time, this time she refused to even come look or talk to me and told her employee to say there was nothing they could do?! I will not be wasting anymore time or resources at this location. I didn't get the syrup I was charged for an then had to waste even more time fighting that charge?! I wasn't even a grumpy person though I felt infuriated after this transaction. Also wasted all my time and I didn't even have a enough time to stop at the Hanford's down the street.
