Another group of shops that all follow the same model. My reviews won't change much except for the location. This shop on Northern Blvd. was clearly the largest DD I have ever visited. While it has its own parking lot, I see it filling up very quickly. They have a drive through most people use these days and that keeps the lines shorts. Usually every time I have walked into or visited and DD I am greeted well and served quickly. This team while friendly and knowledgeable, seemed a little bit more focused on the crowd and moving the people through the line. Many different review here at DD usually revolving around staff. I was here late and there was no real line and a few employees. I drink my coffee black so the backup by the sugar and other add-ons doesn't usually affect me, and I see this type of slow down no matter where the coffee comes from. Their food was fresh and I assume they get it delivered multiple times during the day. There is nothing worse than eating an old donut, bagel or muffin. The counter person asked me if I wouldn't mind waiting so she could make a fresh coffee. Nice touch... Kudos to this team for keeping their location up to the standards of the other "Dunkin" locations, and keeping the line flowing so well. read more

I ordered 3 sandwiches. 2 can poorly assembled and cold. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, bacon amount were three extremely small pieces initially hidden by the cheese. My coworker sandwich was a sourdough with bacon egg and cheese, same with the bacon. I reached out to customer service to make a complaint and the response was "we do not reimburse for food temperature and for the amount that the store decide to give. Based on policy I cannot adjust your payment". The insult, as if I were begging for free food. I paid $50 for three sandwiches 2 hash browns and 2 small ice coffee. As a wise person once said, customer services is the key to a customer' heart. Well, maybe one of the many keys, and I am not going to provide citations, but this was exactly how this Dunkin' won me over. Who doesn't like a store who cares and wants the best for their customers?! The story is, I went into this Dunkin with breakfast sandwich and iced coffee in mind, looking at the menu, an interesting name captured my attention "vanilla chai", hmmm... so I went "what iced coffee flavors do you have?" To "oh wait, I wanna try the vanilla chai, please." A few minutes later, as my drink was being prepared, I asked if they can make it with less ice, then the sales lady told me that it is actually a HOT drink!! Darnnnn it.... well, I can't blame anyone but myself, as I did not look at the menu carefully. Even so, disappointment was all over my face, which became obvious to the sales lady. She at once offered to convert my hot (mel) drink to a smoothie!!!! I have not felt this special for a very long time. I ordered a regular Iced Latte with Mocha syrup and I didn't realize that they charged me with a Signature Latte with Cocoa Mocha (which is a slightly more expensive and different than what I asked for) until I looked at the receipt. When I asked the cashier, she strongly insisted that it is the same thing (apparently it is two different items noted on the menu). I sat down in my office and the first bite of the first hashbrown I felt a huge crack in my back molar. I instantly spit out the food and found a solid hard black rock inside !!! I started to open up the other hashbrown and found several other small pieces of rock ! This is incredibly dangerous and disgusting . this particular dd serves a purpose as its located along my route going into astoria and it may be small and nothing fancy as most or all dd are , i was able to grab a dozen mixed semi stale donuts , 3 large hot black coffees and a decaff cappy for me . i got 3 guys doing some rubbish removal nearby at uncks building in astoria and investing less then 30 bucks for breakfast from the nearby dunkin donuts is well worth it .what the heck i did have one donuts , correction two donuts and overall it was ok compared to the bland coffee drink . 3 stars on my yelp meter read more

This particular location usually fine, but they constantly mess up a simple coffee order. Today the wait longer than usual. I entered the store late morning and after waiting 6 minutes and my order still was not finished. The only thing that was prompted was the coffee. I completely understand that woman who was making the sandwiches had a semi large order ahead of mine, but she managed to stand at the oven to wait for bacon to cook and then converse with a friend who walked in to order at the pick up station. There was as person walking around who could have jumped to assist this woman making sandwiches. I asked for a full refund and left, the cashier was very argumentative. She stated everyone is working and so and so forth. The Long Island City area has very little food options, but this place is definitely crossed off my list!! Dunkin' Donuts. Quick, efficient, coffee always fresh. Very personable staff. Actually, I'm underselling: the team is friendly, remembers familiar faces and orders, and is often a bright spot in my day. Prob my fav DD, and I frequent many DDs. I work a block away and have probably been to this particular DD consistently 5-10 times a week for almost a year, and have always gotten the right order.
