This store has seriously gone down hill. I went through the drive thru with my daughter and half of the sign was out. I asked about it and was curtly informed that "it wasn't their fault and somebody would fix it." I'm not a "regular" so I don't know their menu. I spent the next few minutes going back and forth asking what they had. The girl taking my order seemed annoyed to say the least. I'd like to offer a suggestion for the next time this happens... Print out a menu and tape it to your order board. Or even better, in a day like today which was gorgeous, they could have had someone go outside and greet their customers and share a menu with them so they can order. Instead I got treated like I was the problem. All the while as I was sitting there trying to order a sandwich and drink for my daughter, I could see employees dancing and goofing around inside by the window. I'm all for having fun while you work, but when you give tour customers attitude and treat your them like they are inconveniencing you, they won't be back. The owners of this franchise need to wake up and pay attention. I saw not one employee wearing gloves. More than once I have watched the employee who is handling money/cards at the drive thru leave the station and prepare food, drinks with bare hands. And I mean box donuts with bare hands. Saw another employee on phone, playing with their hair and tucking their shirt WAY in, then proceed to start bagging up food. I threw everything I purchased away today because I was simply disgusted. Couldn't pay me to come back here. YUCK. Updating my review from a couple years ago. The food came out quick. They actually spread out the cream cheese on my bagel, which most places won't do. The iced coffee and iced pumpkin chai was really good. We ordered more than enough for a 2 person breakfast and only paid $17. Overall a good experience. read more

This is my local Dunkin, and I've patronized this place daily for the past two years. They are, in fact, the absolute worst Dunkin I've ever visited- and they've consistently disappointed us for the entire time we've lived here. Orders are frequently wrong, drinks taste terrible, and most of the workers have no idea what they're doing. If you're a fan of lattes, cappuccino, or espresso: you're out of luck here. Their machine hardly ever works, and as of writing this has been inoperative for MONTHS. The last two times I've gone inside this DD, I've seen the employees playing around, joking, and on their phones. They completely ignore customers inside the store, forcing the use of the kiosks, and providing no customer service, not even when addressed by customers directly who had questions or needed help. The inside of this restaurant is dirty, dilapidated, and not cared for. There are wallpaper seams that are peeling back anywhere from 6 inches to 2 feet away from the walls, which you can see are covered in mold. The floors look like they are seldom swept and mopped, and the counters were gross and dirty. This is absolutely the worst and nastiest DD that I've ever been in, and will absolutely not be returning. I'm giving this a one star only because i have to select something. The worst service in all the Dunkin' across the United States, took me 20 minutes to get my order while they serve 25 other walking numbers behind me (many of them have a similar if not identical, food orders). I hate rating this place so low, because the staff is friendly, but the service, especially after about 3/4 pm, is lacking. Somehow, whenever I order an espresso drink in the morning or early afternoon, all is well. When I go in the late afternoon and evening, consistently the espresso machine is 'broken' or 'down'. I get it. I worked at a Starbucks. Taking down the espresso machine earlier helps close sooner, but if you're a coffee shop (which I think most would consider Dunkin to be), you don't take down the espresso machine more than an hour or so before closing. They also seem to run out of things often. Again, I worked at the Starbucks in town and I get that deliveries don't always make it down here in time, but things like cold brew or cold foam shouldn't be running out of on a regular basis. If you are going here for a regular coffee/ice coffee and/or donuts, go on ahead. If you are going for a special drink or in the evenings and want anything beyond a standard coffee, you may want to reconsider. read more

Just went to this location and while the donuts were delicious as always, i was disturbed at what I saw while standing in line, I witnessed that all of the employees were wearing gloves, which is good, but the problem is that they were touching literally everything with those gloves without changing them. There was a worker that went to the back area by the bathrooms, touched the little gate, came back with a bottle of cleaner in one hand and again grabbed the gate with the other ( gloves still on) then put the bottle down and stood at the front ready to help, and never changed his gloves. Another worker again with her gloved hands, grabbed a box, and the grabbed a donut ( no tissue barrier between her gloved hand and the donut) and then dropped something on the floor, picked it up and continued to get another donut and put it In the box and handed it to a customer. The main worker at the cash register wore the same gloves for the entire time I was in there, which was approx 15 minutes. (I paid attention). He touched the cash register, counter tops, money, and then went directly to the donut case and grabbed several customers donuts with the same gloves that he just touched everything with. Again, never used a tissue barrier. When I got up to the counter to ask for my donuts I requested that he use a tissue barrier so that he wasn't touching the donuts with his gloves. His response to me was "These are clean just so you know". I then replied to him they actually are not, I watched you touch the cash register and everything around you and there's frosting all over them from the other donuts. He did comply and use a tissue but never changed the gloves. This practice is absolutely unacceptable. We are in a pandemic, and hand hygiene is extremely important. Wearing gloves is great, but if they're not changed regularly or after touching something that's potentially contaminated, it's absolutely no different than using your plain ungloved hands. I tried to call the store directly twice to speak to a manager, but it went to voicemail. I did look up their policy online, and I am pasting it here for public awareness: This is directly from the Dunkin' Donuts website under frequently asked questions; COVID-19 Are employees required to wear gloves? Everyone working in a Dunkin' restaurant must avoid bare hand contact with food and food prep surfaces by using single-use gloves, waxed tissue, or utensils. Gloves must be changed frequently while performing these tasks and anytime a guest asks a team member to do so. For team members who are moving between tasks, we require thorough hand washing and using waxed tissue, proper serving utensils, and proper glove usage. Literally the worst Dunkin Donuts location, which is hard to believe if you've been the DD in Prince Frederick. They are always out of something, or I hear "we don't sell that" but it's on the menu? One time they gave my order to person in the drive through in front of me and wanted to charge me twice to make it again. I have been a handful of times, and none of them have been any better than the experience before. Today I ordered a cold brew and sweet tea, two donuts and a bagel. My coffee and the tea were the same color! I asked if there was cream in it and she says "yeah but you can't tell because cold brew is concentrated" I'm no barista but I've been drinking cold brew for a while and usually when there's creamer is quite a lighter shade of brown. Someone is gonna be disappointed when they open their bag expecting avocado toast and got my bagel instead. But incase they are reading this: Your toast wasn't even toasted, you didn't miss much. I ordered a medium hot coffee with cream and sugar and an espresso shot. Coffee was room temperature, not even lukewarm. There was no sugar in it. The coffee was sour like it had been sitting around all day. Nasty! I spit it out and threw the coffee away. $3.81 down the toilet. That's the second bad coffee I have had there. I gave them a 2nd chance which was a big mistake. I worked in restaurants. If they can't even get their specialty right, then there are some very BAD things going on behind the scenes. Just went through the drive thru. Ordered a large iced coffee with milk and 4 equal. As the young lady was placing the top on the cup of iced coffee, the whole thing spilled on the counter with the exception of about 2 ounces left in the bottom of the cup. Instead of making a new one(which is what she should have done) she walks over and just pours coffee in the cup to fill it back up. No additional milk or sweetener. Then gives it to another girl to give to me. I politely told her I saw the whole thing and she should have made a new one from scratch. Just got a blank stare. Not even an apology. And they never had the audacity to make it right in the first place by offering something. They offered something free after the fact I had bought something else cause I was so hungry to begin with. Such a disappointment. I love Dunkin' Donuts. And my friend got barely any bacon on their sandwich and paid a lot for a good sandwich. People don't come to dunkin to pay for shitty food. I love Dunkin' Donuts but this location is the worst I ordered a 4$ sandwich and I received only 2 small slices of bacon on a huge sandwich . Also my friend ordered a bagel with just cheese and bacon . They gave her egg and bacon the first time . Then she went in and told them they messed it up only for her to go right back in but this time they only gave her bacon on a bagel . So her third time going back into the restaurant they finally give her what she asked for originally 10 minutes earlier. Also the wait was ridiculous . I don't not recommend this location . Drive thru line is slow af, sometimes the employees are really rude. Just recently I walked down here to get my fav coffee at 9, an hour b4 they close, and all the doors were locked. It was around 9:10 when I got there and i asked if they were closed they said yes, they were. Then they told me I had to walk around to the drive thru if I wanted to order. I don't own a car so I have to walk everywhere. That's really dangerous, especially at night. So if I want a cup of coffee after work, I have to walk to the drive thru just to order, that's bulls***. I'm not going to risk getting hit by some a-hole not paying attention just get coffee. Why do they lock the doors at 9 pm anyway? And sometimes I don't get there until 9:30 pm and I can't get any coffee because "the machines are down for cleaning". This is just losing them business. This used to be a great place....now? The frozen coffee was the worst coffee that I've ever had in my life. It tasted like they put expired milk and moldy orange peels in the blender when they made it. The ice must have been frozen swamp water that was a week old. I think it was starting to ferment by the time I was halfway through drinking it.
