So, I've come to this DD for several years. The current owners, who've been here a while still refuses to put almond milk in frozen drinks. They say it's because of peanut allergies. Every other DD in the nation where I've visited will do it but nah, not these people. Newsflash, you're in LaPlace, LA (let that sink in for a minute). You're literally nowhere on the map and yet you think out of the millions of people in the USA, the possibility of the majority of people having a peanut allergy (about a 1% or 3 million people), will be in LaPlace? Let me humor you. If you take 3 million people with a peanut allergy, divide that by 50 states, you'd get 60,000 people in each state. Not realistically but statistically. Out of those 60,000 in Louisiana, do you really think ANY will be in LaPlace??? I'll tell you now, the majority will be getting drunk on Bourbon Street, not sipping on DD frozen drinks. You may have one or two but what is the likelihood they'll indulge DD instead of Starbucks? I really think it's asinine that DD HQ will let them do this. They're a franchise that's dictating a company's business decisions. The DD in Metairie will put almond milk in their frozen drinks. read more

We place the order and they tell us to pull around. We do and sit and wait. The guy/girl(?!) at the counter then opens the window and says "are you waiting on something?" like we are just hanging out at the pick up window for no reason whatsoever. I ordered the matcha they first try to hand me a refresher. No , wrong item. Hands me the matcha, we pull around to go out and realize there's not a single piece of ice in it? Just a wasted trip all around with this location. Do better Dunkin. read more

Ever since Ownership changed, hands a few months ago, I would have to order differently. Because in a small coffee, it's two sips of coffee with extra ice. So my order then became small iced coffee, less ice, almond milk. Why should we have to say less ice? Anyway, that's what I had to say for the past two months. And today I ordered small iced coffee, less ice with almond milk. And once again, I get a cup full of ice with three sips of coffee. There's only one worker that knows how to make the coffee right. And she knows who she is. This location is lucky that they are the only drive-through coffee shop in town . Rant over . read more

We have been consistent customers for years. My husband recently began getting coffee in the mornings before work around 5:30. I order on the app for him and he picks up on his way. His coffee has been wrong more than right. His iced mocha latte has been like chocolate milk, a peppermint mocha, or no mocha at all. This morning he even specifically talked to the cashier at the window about it, so felt confident and pulled away without tasting it. He had no mocha flavoring, and once again only received an iced latte. Quality control at this location has dropped drastically, and no one answers the phone when you call this early to try to rectify the situation. We have probably wasted $70-$80 on incorrect coffees over the past month. It's ridiculous. read more

Their hours said they closed at 10 on Google. I knew I'd be risking it for the biscuit going at 9:30, and when I got there, the door was locked. Once I looked inside, one of the employees looked at me through the window, laughed, and turned around. Another employee yelled through the glass, "We're closed!" Pros: Friendly service and the egg white flatbread was delicious. Also The iced latte was delish. Cons: No refill on the unsweetened tea for $1.79. The munchkins were stale. No sure if they make them in house but tasted a day old. Overall worth a try. read more

I always order a Carmel ice coffee with cream and no sugar, and no matter what it always tastes awesome. The prices are also very cheap! Two dollars for a coffee is great. One time I came here months ago and I was disappointed but apparently they really improved because I never have problems at this location. I was excited to see this so close to home. However, they don't keep a fresh selection of donuts throughout the day, and the Boston Cream I bought were terrible. They had about a quarter-sized amount of cream inside. I ordered via the drive through, and by the time the girl at the window was done laughing it up with her friends in the car ahead of me, I learned at the window that they didn't even have what I ordered! She offered me alternatives, and I made a new selection...then she came back and said they didn't have that either. All in all...lousy. I'll just go back to the one in Metairie, even though I live in LaPlace. read more

Slightly aggravated with experience. Huge sign outside advertising $2 lattes during certain hours. Stopped because of sign, ordered my drink and then was told the $2 special didn't apply to lattes. What? I just said ok, paid the regular price and left. Checked the sign on my way to the car to make sure I had not misread the sign. My drink should have qualified for special. First, we were greeted by Kenzie. She was extremely friendly and smiled at every customer as they walked in. Every employee, with which we had contact, was friendly and helpful. They anticipated our needs and made sure we had everything we could possibly need or want before we even sat down. The food was fresh and delicious. They even had a healthy option, a turkey sausage sandwich which was frigging amazing. Coffee was fresh and I burnt, milk was awesome and the hash browns were cooked and salted to perfection. Driving through horrible Laplace traffic in the evening just searching for that perfect cup of coffee to get you through the rest of the day..only to get there and they're closed when their hours say open!! Asked if they had soy milk and the worker appeared to not know what I was talking about, and continued to repeat "we have skim and 1% milk" after 3 tries I finally gave up. Maybe they don't get a lot of requests for soy milk, so I will continue to go to "PJ's coffee. I have lived in many places and always found a Dunkin' Donuts that had soy milk. read more

I absolutely love the coffee here! If you are looking for an in and out that is quick and cheap this is the place to go. Best part is they have a drive through. I don't go to the DDs here in BR, but I go to this one because it's convenient on my way home on Fridays from work. The first time I went in was only my second time in a Dunkin and the person behind the counter was very patient with me and going through the coffee options. The second time I actually ordered a meal and it was decent and timely. It is very clean and parking is easy, though getting out of the parking lot during rush hour takes some know how. read more

I went to The new Dunkin Donuts because in this town there is only one good place to get breakfast, so i decided to branch out and try it. It wasn't as awesome as i thought is was. I went through the drive-thru. I ordered a plain biscuit with butter, a vanilla latte with whipped cream, and an iced mocha coffee.After they messed up the order the first time and made us wait for almost 15 minutes to get our food coffee and biscuit. They finally brought what we wanted or so we thought. . We didn't think to check and make sure it was right before we left because we were so mad. The biscuit was ice cold, and hard as a rock, The vanilla latte with whipped cream(which they charged me for)has no whipped cream. I would not recommend this to anyone. read more

Good coffee for when there isn't time to make a pot at home. It's got the nice nutty flavor without it being burnt like Starbucks. The donuts could use a lot more TLC, though. We went there at 8 PM one evening recently and they did not have any frozen coffee because they had already turned off and cleaned the machine even though they were open until 10. The cashier serving us was twisting his hair with his fingers while talking to us. They did not have any powdered Bavarian cream donuts. They could have left some shells plain and filled and powdered them as people ordered them. I will give them time to improve and try again. read more

I like Dunkin' Donuts. Very happy they came to Laplace, La. I get their coffee cake muffin (which everyone else must get, too because they run out a lot). It is always fresh and crumbly. Very good. I also like their iced coffee products - their coffee is stout but not as bitter as SB's coffee. The irony of this Dunkin' is that their donuts aren't so great but I've worked my way around that by getting a muffin! read more

So being a Starbucks customer for years I've wanted to try to find something closer to home for when I'm craving coffee. I actually loved the DD coffee with cream! In fact I was going just about every morning with an occasional evening trip. However after about a month of visiting the Laplace DD location, I have had many inconsistent orders than I've ever had at any other fast food place. And to think it's only a medium hot coffee I order with cream and sugar. Like how do you mess that up. I've had it served to me cold, burnt tasting, watered down, inconsistent temperatures from cold to extremely hot as if it were placed in a microwave, wrong size, too sweet, or not sweet enough after I've given the same sugar quantity each time. It's really sad because I want to enjoy it and become a long term customer but proven again, Laplace restaurants rank in poor quality service and product. Lastly, I stopped purchasing their donuts long ago when that opened due to lack of freshness and taste which is not acceptable if I go early in morning hours. read more
