Best DD ever! I'm an avid coffee drinker (actual coffee, not coffee-flavored drinks, like Starbucks). I come here 2-3 times a day, everyday, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Why???? First and foremost, they never mess up the coffee orders, which, in general, is a consistent problem for most DD locations. The food is tasty, prepared fast, consistent and they don't mess up orders. The staff is friendly and well-trained. The staff actually gets to know the customers, which is exceedingly rare nowadays, for any restaurant, especially fast food. The owner truly seems to care equally for the staff and the customers. Great management. The staff decorates the restaurant for every holiday. It's always immaculately clean. It has a parking lot (rare for JSQ area). Leaps and bounds better than the DD on the other side of the square or the one on Broadway. (This probably sounds like an owner review but it's not. We were craving for some donuts yesterday so went to dunkin and got 6 donuts and everything bagel. Not sure what's happening with them. Donuts tasted very doughy and bagel was hard and dry. I come here often since it's a few blocks from my part time job. Today was the first time they disappointed me with my order. The hot chocolate I ordered was not filled to the top. But since this is the first time they messed up after 2 years of coming here, I'll let it go. This location is very close to Journal Square Transportation Center. They open early, by 5am, even on Sundays. They closed late at 12am. They're usually fast getting your order ready. There are seats if you want to sit and drink your DD beverage. They also have a private lot so parking is not an issue. They never give me a hard time with using DD coupons. read more

Came by on a Tuesday evening around 7:30 and was disappointed by the service I received. It seemed like a slow night so the cashier tonight started closing early. Upon arrival, she was cleaning the milk machine and refused to acknowledge my existence for 2 minutes despite making eye contact with me. After she paused cleaning the milk machine, she rudely asked "what do you want". I asked for a few donuts to which she did not bother wearing gloves or washing her hands first. As I was paying with Apple Pay, she started cleaning again and never handed me my donuts; I had to get it from her side of the counter. Sometimes you just gotta go get Dunkin' Donuts. This is a pretty good location. Between the one on Bergen Ave and this one on Summit, I prefer to go here. Because it's smaller and on the less crowded side of the Journal Square Transportation Center, the lines tend to go much faster here. The DD workers are very quick during the morning rush, and they are nice and friendly. They make drinks well and, in my experience, have never messed up an order. The donuts, bagels, and muffins are fresh. The shop is clean and there are a few tables where you can sit down if you want. Plus, there is a small parking lot available to customers. It satisfies all the criteria of what makes a fine Dunkin' Donuts. read more

THEY WON'T TOLERATE YOU FOR MORE THAN 20 MINUTES. Day 1: I bought coffee, finished it, discarded the cup, and started working on my laptop. The owner approached me and asked to order something or leave. I told her that I had bought coffee, and she walked away. Day 2: I made sure to keep the cup. Staff approached me saying that the owner set the limit of 20 minutes even if you order something. Then you have to leave. I never experienced this in any other coffee shop in my life. Apparently, Dunkin' owners think that there is something so special about their shop that it's too good for people to sit there for more that 20 minutes. read more

I really would give this place zero stars if I could. I only hope that the owner of this location reads this post and fires its entire staff or it's entire morning staff. I basically order the same thing everyday nothing really changes. However for some reason they always seem to miss one add-on in the item that I purchased as if it's coming out of their own pocket. God forbid I order from Uber eats because then I might get anything on the menu at dunkin' donuts instead of what I ordered. Nobody there seems to have any type of customer service experience or show a spread of decency towards any other people that deal with. I'm not a fan of DD at all. The coffee taste horrible/borderline undrinkable and the food the most processed kind you can buy. Needless to say I don't go to DD often. But if I had to go to a DD, it would be this location. Their line runs smoothly and quickly and the three employees I interacted with we're all extremely polite and courteous. I like this DD. I usually get fast and friendly service here and the bathroom is very clean (ask the counter people to buzz you in). This DD is Located behind the Journal Square Transportation building on Summit. This spot is quite popular among the local Philippines in the area. Most of the workers there are also Philippine. I see the same group of older Philippine gentlemen there enjoying their coffee and chatting. Nice spot if you are in the area. read more

This DD is a very convenient location as it is near the PATH train station. They have a small parking lot for customers to park and grab some items on the go. The workers usually get the line moving quickly in the morning. They have all the variety of donuts that Dunkin offers and accept all promotions. The only thing that I have to warn people is that there are sometimes panhandlers that ask for change at the entrances. It can be sometimes annoying for people to ask your when your just getting your breakfast and coffee. These days people like myself pay with the Dunkin app, which I usually don't have change for them anyway. I just don't want to be bothered by them asking me for spare change. I wish the manager comes and tell them to leave. This is why I give them only 3 stars. read more

what can you really say about dunkin donuts? i think it's pretty much the same everywhere.. except this one LIES their door says 24/7 but it's not it was about 11:50pm on a sunday night. my friends and i stopped here on our way home from a weekend trip. they needed to use the restroom and wanted to grab a donut for breakfast since they had work early the next morning. the guy at the counter saw them heading for the door and he ran inside to the kitchen. fifteen seconds later he proceeded to close the lights. after about a minute of standing in front of the store and trying to open the multiple doors, my friends give up and head towards the car. as we're pulling out of the parking lot, i see him coming out from hiding.. maybe we looked scary? maybe he thought we were going to rob him? i'm not sure why he ran inside PROS: - parking lot - next to JSQ PATH - convenient location for me CONS: - they lie read more

They are not 24 hours even though their sign on the door says otherwise. The staff is friendly, they have a parking lot, and they are very close to the PATH JSQ train station. I don't believe their donuts are made on premises though. That would be a plus. read more

If I had to visit a DD in the JC area, it would most definitely be this one right here. The food is like any other DD. However, it is the cleanliness of the place and the fantastic service that keeps me coming back. The workers are obviously well-trained because the line, esp in the morning, moves extremely fast. The bathroom and tables are always kept clean and the workers always have a smile on their face. I once forgot my DD coupon at home and the cashier gave me the discount anyway by scanning an extra sheet of coupons they had as back up. If there was any place to add love in their coffee and food, this is the place that does it. I'm sure this DD has made many people's morning. The biggest issue this Dunkin falls victim to is having a public bathroom (which is technically reserved for customers) and located just outside a heavy traffic transit hub. That being said, the establishment is generally clean, it's the people who come through who don't seem to care about it. I can't blame Dunkin for people who don't take pride in their neighborhood. Though there are a few regulars that do care about this place and the community. Now that I've dug deep into what I dislike about it, I'll defend the 5 stars I'm still giving it. When you frequent a chain, like Dunkin, very little varies aside from location, so what helps the people who are behind the counter. They are always friendly and stick to the guarantee that Dunkin promotes that if you aren't satisfied with something, they'll remake it. The service is always fast. Many people on weekday mornings come in and see a line wrapping around and leave, but I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to order in lines 12 or so bodies deep. Maybe it's a personal phobia of public restrooms, but I've never checked this one out despite how many times I've been here. I can say I do often see it get cleaned, which is reassuring should I ever need to use it. After all is said and done, I will continue to come here because of the consistent quality and service I receive. read more

There was a swarm of flies outside the filthy bathroom. Chocolate chip cookie tasted OK but was very dry and crunchy.

I'm not going to rate the coffee because coffee is coffee to me and I assume all DD locations have the same taste in terms of their beverages, so that's that. But I will say that this location has the best customer service. You can tell that staff are well trained and they all get along with each other. They're pretty fast during the busy morning hours which is good for most of the NY-commuters who live in the Journal Square area that just need to pick up their coffee and go! A good staff creates good service for customers. So kudos to the management. It's the best lookin franchise around the Journal Square area that's for sure. Place is kept cleaned and well-maintained - Even got a recent face-lift so everything looks brand-spankin new. Stop by if you get a chance! read more
