Came in today and ordered a breakfast sandwich and was told they were out of croissants so I opted for a toasted English muffin instead. Ordered the item without cheese and it even said so on the receipt when I picked it up from the counter when it was ready. Thankfully I didn't drive off and decided to open it up and eat it in my car in the parking lot because it was made with cheese unlike how I ask for. It's not that I don't like cheese at all, but every type of food and ingredient taste different when it's made together with other items. And in this case I prefer my breakfast sandwich without cheese. The order got fixed and was ready within a couple of minutes so thank you to this location for at least correcting my order. read more

I come here pretty regularly; good service, friendly workers, never had a bad experience since I started coming by. Not to be corny, but growing up in New England I'm psychologically hardwired to find comfort in swinging by Dunks. Stuff happens, rushes come & go, sometimes mistakes happen; big deal. But consistently just handling it & keeping stuff moving is what matters. The older woman in the morning is one of my favs, I don't think the rapture would faze her. Some of the other crew members have connected & given me recommendations for various services in town that were great as well. There's a reason Dunks was labeled an "essential business" during COVID. Might just seem like a coffee & a donut, but it's really a necessary pillar in our community. Again, not to be corny, but I wanted to show some appreciation after seeing reviews that don't reflect the location or its workers, but rather a ton of things that are just out of their control. I would literally give zero stars if it was an option! This morning I arrived at the western blvd location at exactly 4am which is what time they open for service. I was immediately greeted by the gentleman that works there with the glasses, I believe he is a manager. He took my order and then the intercom cut off right before he told me my total. I ordered a medium iced mocha with cream and sugar! I waited a second and pulled around placed my car in park and waited patiently. Around 4:05am I was trying to figure out what was going on, I was the only customer. I saw the gentleman come from the back and grab something and go back to the back. He never spoke to me nothing so I had no idea what could possibly be the hold up seeing as I was the first customer of the day. At 4:08am I'm irritated so I laid on my horn to get his attention. He then comes to the window with an entire attitude like I did something to him! The thing that people should understand when they're working in customer service, especially if you're in a management position. First, you're there to provide a service if you're not trying to provide that service, especially during the hours in which you were supposed to be providing that service then maybe you should get another job if you cannot do your job. I have submitted many complaints about this same manager several times. I've called the 1800 number, and no one ever does anything. He used to be late consistently and the place wouldn't even take orders until he arrived. They would literally have workers in there before the manager who would look at you like you were crazy and not take your order until he got there, It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in my life. I go to the Dunkin' donuts, off of gum branch Road and that facility operates so much better. The product is better. Everything is so much better. The only reason why I go to the one on western is because it's the only one that is open at 4 o'clock in the morning. But I'm telling you now the people who you have running that place suck. The slowest Dublin I've seen in a while. After sitting in the drive-through for a little bit, I decided to go inside soon as I got inside I realize exactly why the drive-through line was taking so long. The staff seemed completely out of it. There were three different people sweeping one area behind the counter. The lady at the drive-through window was cursing other employees out, saying things like "I don't know what the F is going on." It just seemed extremely chaotic, and no one knew what was going on. The DD on Western Blvd in Jacksonville NC was my favorite donut shop. They were the only DD in NC that made their donuts onsite. They have gone to hell. This Dunkin NEVER listens, especially the night crew. I don't know how hard it is to have a crew who listens and will not interrupt you while your ordering. Then they make you repeat yourself 50 times before they ring it correctly. It's not hard to press a few buttons. They also, NEVER make the coffees right. Ever since they went to this tap system, it's been horrible. Also, with it being 24 hours, why are they always out of munchkins? The night crew is very unfriendly and very rude! What can I say, I love doughnuts and I've been to plenty of Dunkin' Donuts but this one was different. The decor was pleasing. They have a section that you could sit and mingle. Several nice comfortable chairs where you can sit and meet up for coffee and good conversation--- like one of those fancy coffee shops. Not one napkin was on the floor or empty tables. Customer service is garbage. I asked what a banana royale was and one employee said it's a banana split. Yet below the banana royale it had a banana split also for sale. So I asked what the difference between the two were. The employee decided to get snappy and ghetto because she had to explain what the difference was. Clearly they need new employees and some better management/proper training. Also, the drive through menu needs to be updated. You have to break your neck to even read it. The employees inside were unmasked or wearing their masks under their noses, and not a single one made eye contact or said "Be with you in a minute" or anything. My family has had several instances at this Dunkin with them, either making our stuff wrong, giving us attitude or refusing to accommodate to allergies. As a manager at a fast food chain, I can't fathom how they treat their customers and don't care about the customer service that they have. Their manager, Mirah is no better. Amir refuse service after an allergy was brought to his attention all because my father with the allergy could've died if he would've touched it, or drink it. Just because a customer gets upset doesn't mean you should treat them like garbage just because they don't want to die. This is honestly the only Dunkin worth going to! They have the best donuts regardless and the customer service is definitely improving. I will say, it's hit or miss based on who is working but usually if you are respectful, they're very respectful back. I usually go to the Dunkin on Marine Blvd, due to them being the only ones that can accurately make my request (which it's simple and the same every single time). But to my surprise, they nailed it right on the head, deliciously! My XL French Vanilla with a shot of Blueberry, cream and sugar, came out spectacular! I was pleasantly surprised, as to people usually forget to add the cream and/or sugar, or it's just flat out disgusting. The only reason this restaurant didn't get 5 stars is due to the service. It's probably for the better as we went to Krispy Kreme. THEY had what we needed. 1/5/2015: They really should consider changing the name of this business to Dunkin-no-Donuts. I stopped by late in the evening (11:30pm) to grab a six-pack or so for the family's weekend breakfast of champions.
