This is the absolute worst customer service. Every time we come to this location they have a long line. We sat for well over 20 minutes. By the time we got up to the window we can see all the girls just standing around gabbing away. All we ordered was a coffee and a hot chocolate and no one had even started making them. We watched them literally just standing around laughing instead of preparing their customer's orders. We said something to the girl who finally handed our drinks over and her only response was they are short staffed. That may be true but it does not excuse not getting orders together and making people sit and wait while they socialize. Absolutely terrible service. read more

Looks cool inside. Waited 15 minutes for a watered down hazelnut coffee that tastes like dish water, that I am pretty sure was dish water. There were two coffee pots soaking in dish water and I had to ask them to remake my iced hazelnut. I said no cream, we have a milk allergy. She added the flavor with cream. I pointed this out. Easy to fix, but then three more customers came in with food and drink orders as she apologized to them for waiting as I handed my drink back after asking her to correct this she took their orders. I ended up with a watered down bubbly drink that tasted like the soapy water I was just looking at. Fyi, the restrooms were dirty, and the changing table was dirty. Should have known Not to order after seeing this. But, how often does a new mother get out? Best to steer clear of this place until the manager addresses these employees. read more

Went through the drive thru to be handed 1/3 of what I ordered and told to have a good day. When I reminded the lady behind the window that we also had two cold brew coffees as well she proceeded to laugh and went into the back to make them. The cold brews were then handed to us extremely watered down and by a different employee. After that we were still waiting for our final item and asked what else we needed. We finally got our final item. But tried the cold brew which looked like iced tea and went back inside to get it remade. The two women that worked there hid in the back and had the man handle our remake when the women were the ones that took our order. Extremely rude customer service. Do not ever go there. Stopped in this morning to get donuts for the office. Asked for 4 Boston Cremes, 2 Bismarks, and a few other ones to fill my dozen. Thought I saw her pull the bismarks from the Boston cremes and asked her, she said no she didn't . Got to work a block over, co worker ate 1/2 of her donut and it had zero filling. Checked the others and they were not filled either. Drove back, told the girl, and she was like, yeah. It happens. And we are out of Bismark thata why I gave you the others. I cant stand a liar. After waiting 20 minutes in the drive thru, I ordered an assorted dozen containing 3 lemon filled, 3 apple filled and 6 chocolate covered glazed donuts. When we got home and started eating there was NO apple filling in any of the 3 with no hole where any had been added. What a waste of money because they are horrible without the filling. hello! this is the worst dunkin' donuts I have ever been to. I am an avid dunkin' drinker, I used to live up north where there was one available every few miles. you could count on freshly baked donuts every morning, consistently delicious coffee, and breakfast to feed the masses. THIS dunkin' however, is an abomination to all dunkin' donuts shops around the world. Unfortunately, it is the closest one to me so I have no other option past 7:00 (as this is the time that the local coffee shop I work at closes). SO, let me paint this lovely picture for you. It's 8:45, beautiful summer night, my pals and I want some coffee, maybe a couple donuts! we drive down 15-20 minutes to the Dunkin' on Lake Murray Blvd. it is 9:05 when we arrive (55 minutes before the stated closing time on their website mind you) and to our surprise, the shop is closed! the lights are off, and the doors are locked. we drive through the drive-through, only to find an employee standing near the window, counting the register. she ignores us as we sit there for a good 3 minutes. finally she opens the window and greets us with a snobby little "can I help you?" we tell her exactly why we are here: to get coffee (as one would expect at a coffee shop). she informs us that they are closing early because one of the employees is sick and she can not be there alone. HOWEVER, we see at least 3-4 employees wandering in the shop behind her. so now, I am sitting here typing this review up while drinking my cup of starbuck in conclusion, I am thoroughly disappointed. it is extremely unprofessional to close an entire hour early as a major business. working for a coffee shop myself, I can say with confidence that this is unacceptable. thank you, goodnight. update: this may be an employee issue because we went back tonight and the employees were impeccable and so kind!! read more

Went through the drive thru (within the 3 o'clock hour) for a quick pick up after some shopping. My order was taken promptly, efficiently and politely. My iced coffee was made SPOT ON, it warranted the happy coffee dance in the car prior to driving off! read more

This is a super inconsistent Dunkin. No drink your order is ever close to the same and I've also been given stale donuts when I've gone in the afternoon. As far as covid precautions go, most of the workers I've seen (while in the drive thru line) are either not wearing a mask or are wearing it very improperly. There are other Dunkin options close by, so I recommend just driving a little further to get a better experience. read more

I visit this location frequently & every time I am left wondering why I go back. My order is never right. Sweet Pepper Bacon, Egg, & cheese wrap with either no bacon or no egg or the wrong bacon. Sausage, Egg, & cheese on a bagel with either no cheese or no egg. My drink is often missing the sweetener of my choosing or out of the flavor I selected. Overall, I am very unhappy with the continued experiences I have had & will find another solution or location that an follow directions! read more

Ordered an ice coffee with cream and no sugar. It tasted like it had no coffee in it. Very disappointing.

The service here is usually only sub-par but the food makes up for it. Today, however it was barely edible. I had a croissant sandwich and the bacon on it was stringy and tough. I could even bite it. I tossed that & ate the donut that I had grabbed while there and planned to save for later instead. It was old, hard & dry (and this was at 9 in the morning). Half the icing had scraped off on a flimsy paper that they wrapped it with. It was supposed to be cream filled but there was barely any inside at all. The only thing decent was the bottled drink that they didn't make. If this is the quality, or lack of, that they continue to have then I guess I won't return anymore. Had the worst experience at Dunkin on Lake Murray Blvd Irmo Sc . And it's the reason I won't be back . I was not happy with my order that I had just paid 18 for . I went to the door to ask for another bagel in the rain they stood in the store and just looked at me . So I went to the drive though window to ask them if they planned to help me and told them why I was there . They sent a young girl out with the bagel . I asked for the owners number of course she didn't know but was willing to find out. Out comes the supposed manager 5/22/2022 The manager or who claims to be the manager did not know her bosses number supposedly. Told me I can't read and that she didn't have time to deal with me or help me . She than went back inside shut the door and never came back with the number . I will never come back to that store again . There is more to this story . I will do the survey . I also plan to find out who owns that store and let them know that even when it's hard to find workers gives no excuses to hire horrible ones and then put them in a management position . I will take my 30 or 4o dollars I spend there a week some where else . I've had enough of the rude behavior like they're doing me a favor to take my order or money . Only one positive experience at that one and seems like that employee is no longer there. I've never even received that kind of treatment at Starbucks . I hope that she gets more complaints before all this inflation and market falls out . Consumers are tired of giving their hard earned money away for inferior service . I've been using the location for several years. Mistakes happen but overall my service and speed are right in the money. Today there was a financial mistake and as soon as the manager, I believe Jasper, found out, he fixed the mistake and gave me a free coffee for my next visit. This is how it's suppose to be. My family from Florida came in. We were taking a tour around the Irmo area, and wanted to get some iced coffee and maybe a pastry. When we first walk in there, mom asked if they were doing happy hour since it was after 3, the lady said "uhm, no ma'am" after giving us a stupid look. Then she proceeds to say "we are out of mocha, caramel, and vanilla products" and didn't seem interested in even serving us. So we walked out, as we were walking out she was being smart saying "alright now! Have a nice day! Don't forget how hot it is out there!" So glad to finally have a DD on this side of town but sometimes it's more of a pain to go there than it's worth. I'm not sure if they're understaffed but they always seem to be SO SLOW - especially in the mornings. I can't tell you how many times I've stopped on my way into work and have sat in line for at least 10 minutes with only 2 or 3 cars a head of me. This morning I stopped to get a coffee and there was a gentleman about 3 cars a head who had looked like had been sitting there a while at the window - he finally pulled up into a spot and went in, I guess so the rest of us could be helped behind him. Even with that I sat in line for almost 15 minutes and when I left the gentleman was still in the parking spot. Don't even get me started on trying to get out of the driveway to make a left hand turn onto Lake Murray Blvd...but I know this is out of their control. read more

Awful. Extremely rude customer service. And always seem to be understaffed. Every time I go in they will huff and puff if you take longer than .03 seconds to order. God forbid you try and wait 20 minutes in the drive through, more than likely they will do a very slack job on your order and just stare blankly at you. The food is always dry and left out all day, your best best is to bite the bullet and go to Starbucks or for donuts go to Krispy Kreme in Lexington. This place seriously needs an attitude check. I go to Dunkin 5 days per week all over the southern states. I have never EVER had an experience like this. With zero exaggeration we waited 25 minutes to get our 2 coffee's. Only 2 people in line in front if us. A gentleman that had already ordered ONE bagel and still hadn't gotten it when we left after 30 minutes. Went through their drive-thru and was told to pull around and they would bring my order out. After 20 minutes of sitting in the parking lot, I grabbed my infant son and went through the rain to see what happened. Inside I had to wait while the staff chatted with one another before asking me what I wanted. When explained that I had been waiting, instead of apologizing the woman claimed that she went out into the parking lot and didn't see me. I know it is hard to miss a giant minivan, but the polite thing to do would have been to apologize. Instead she went to the back and grabbed my cold sandwich and soggy hash browns and handed them to someone else to pass on to me. 1) I fully believe the cashier was high- extremely slow and slurred speech, one eye was twitching, acted not okay; 2) didn't have anything in stock. The first two donuts I asked for weren't in stock- went with third choice. Didn't have plain bagel for ham and cheddar sandwich, or multigrain. I don't believe this location even deserves one star. A less than 5 minute encounter in the drive thru line was all I needed to experience to know this place needs a serious redo. I think the majority of the problems could most likely be fixed by finding employees who are aware that they're actually being paid to provide customer service. The employee we encountered was downright rude and it seemed as though we were bothering her. Several sighs and rude tones later, we pulled away knowing that they would never get our business again. Customer service is seriously lacking at this store. I went through the drive thru this morning to get my daughter a muffin to take to her teacher. I asked the drive thru employee what type of muffins they had today. She said it so fast, her words slurred together. I told her I was sorry but she said them a little fast for me to understand . She responds as if I am the slowest person on the face of the earth...each one long, slow, sarcastic and drawn out (cccoooooffffeeeee). I told her I wasn't stupid and didn't appreciate her talking to me like that and I left. No muffin for the teacher a disappointed little girl, and a very frustrated me. I will not be going back here. They always run out of the chocolate frosted cake donuts. On Friday, 11/24, we bought 3 of them. They came from the back room with donuts that had frosting on them applied with a knife, not the real thing. It was not the same. I usually get an iced coffee and maybe a breakfast wrap. More often than not, I am told to pull around to the front to wait on my food, even though there is nobody behind me in the line. Your order is never repeated to you, so who knows if they heard it right. They probably don't because when I go to get my coffee, I can visibly see that it isn't right. This establishment can't get it right. I've come by at 5am when they are supposed to be open and they aren't. I've tried twice to redeem a free drink reward and the cashier just charges me again and tells me I have to redeem my reward online. The manager offered me a refund today, but I refused.
