Stopped today for the first time! Very disappointed! Why aren't your donuts already available to see? How do you know what you have??

Stopped by The Donut Guy in Columbia, SC and wow... this place is a whole vibe…read more From the moment you walk in, the colorful murals and fun decor (that donut truck wall + vintage car counter!) make it feel super unique and welcoming . Definitely a spot you want to hang out and snap pics in. Now the donuts... SO good. The hot mini donuts were fresh, soft, and covered in powdered sugar perfection . The loaded funnel cake with cookies, chocolate drizzle, and powdered sugar was over-the-top in the best way -- sweet, crunchy, and totally worth it . Everything tasted fresh and made with care, and the presentation alone had me excited before the first bite. If you're craving something sweet and fun, this is definitely a must-stop spot! Catch them at Soda City or storefronts in Cola.

BIG donuts in the case of the available flavors. It was bright, cheerful, and smelling like a donut heaven! There's plenty of seating, tons of cute photo ops, and their décor made the whole space feel welcoming. We went with the Split Decisions minis (half Butter Pecan, half Snickers) and grabbed two lemonades--Passion Peach and Tropical Island. The donuts were beyond good: hot, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The lemonades were delicious on their own, but mixing the two flavors together was pure perfection. Parking was easy and right out front, which is always a plus! Three happy customers were left with cravings satisfied and smiling--we'll definitely be back!

We had a large group of 12 from the ROMEO club here for lunch today. Our waitress was quick to…read moretake our orders and they set up a table along the long bench for all of us. Almost everyone ordered some sort of the burger special for $9.99 which includes the bottomless fries and a soft drink. Reviews were mixed...some didn't care for their hamburger, saying it was overly done and hard. I ordered the Haystack which didn't have the Red Robin sauce but had the fried onions on it. The burger was tasty and done right but there was a sort of smoked taste...possibly from the onions. Fries are good. I had ordered a regular coke and I think she brought out a diet coke. She said she would take it back and get a regular coke but I told her just to bring a half and half tea. She came back with a regular coke. My order was the last one and when she came to the table she said it wasn't correct...so went back and re-ordered another burger. While I was waiting she brought me out my fries. Finally the burger did come out after half the group was almost finished. Then it came time to pay. Everytime we go here we have to deal with the Kiosks on the table. We usually have anywhere from 5-11 guys at lunch ant it's always a hassle trying to figure out what kiosk has what order. It's really not that hard as the receipt has the table # and order # on it....but today all of our orders were mostly put on one kiosk. I was the first to use the machine and logged in with my rewards number. Found my receipt, added my tip, scanned my card and then the machine said it was analyzing my credit card, then popped up and said your check wasn't ready yet...wait a few minutes. I tried this four times. Finally passed it to someone else and they tried it several times. It finally worked for him. I got it back, tried it three more times and got the same message. Finally i just gave my credit card to the waitress and paid with my bill. Last time I'll use it. Our overall rating was a 3.0.

I have not eaten at a RR in eight or nine years, but I was I NE Columbia, SC today around lunch time so I decided to stop in with a friend at the Village at Sandhills. It was not very busy for lunch on a Friday. I went with a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The best thing about the burger was the bun and toppings. All were very fresh and tasted good, especially the cheddar cheese. The burger itself was pretty tasteless. It was pretty round and looked like it had come on the back of a truck prepackaged. The fries tasted good but were not exactly piping hot. I am not surprised to see other reviews here are mediocre at best.
