What is Dunkin' best known for donuts or coffee? This location across street from Walmart Ballentine. The menu is so condensed, you have breakfast sandwich, hot tea, coffee, & donuts basically. The main problem I've run into at any Dunkin location including this one is the employees are lazy. This one in particular these teenagers are sitting inside both with their faces in phones w the door locked saying drive-thru only. For donuts I need to see them to influence my choices. We tried the drive-thru but the apathy for any customer service was below zero. When I visited this Dunkin, the experience was very rough. The workers didn't have good customer service at all and didn't know what they were doing. While making my drink, they used plenty of profanity, which was unprofessional. They also didn't know how to make my simple drink properly but still handed it to me. They literally handed it to me back and forth debating if they made it right, and it wasn't even full. At least 2 inches left at the top of the cup. I took a sip and it tasted like I just sipped pure sugar. It was awfully too sweet, barely drinkable. This is quite literally my first time ever writing a review it was THAT rough. Service was ridiculously slow the few times I've been there and in general the staff is rude. The lady that got my donuts never changed her gloves between touching the register, donuts, coffee machine and whatever else she touched. Donut selection is always near empty and when they handed me my donuts they lifted the bag up sideways. Very very very slow so if your in a rush, order on the app at least 45 minutes before or just skip your morning coffee. I placed my drive through order at 8:45am got to the store at 9am and didn't get my order until 9:15am. The employee told me my drink will be right out, I saw my drink sitting on the bar and it was all done. The other employee proceeded to make 3 other drinks and the employee helping me at the window just stood there with her back to me. The one thing they have going for them is they did seem clean. As a diabetic, it is rare I eat donuts. Yesterday on the way to a job, I told myself once in a while a donut won't kill me. I stopped at Dunkin at Dutch Fork road and walked inside . The three black ladies were busy for sure. Just messing around I told them ok girls, got to hustle. One turned to me with a go to hell look and the manager looked at me and said, sir, we don't need that kind of talk. I caught me off guard. I looked at her and said I was just messing around. So I ordered two donuts from the third lady. I got my donuts and told her again I was sorry and was just kidding. Before I walked out I did have my feather ruffled and told the manager I would not be back to this business. Was I wrong? I was just kidding in a laughing voice and apologized two times. When I got to the job, I had my own coffee from my house but the donuts were cold, not wrapped just thrown in the bag with NO napkins. I don't know who owns that franchise but he can keep it. Very poor customer service. We placed an order over the phone that they refused to deliver at the door. After first ignoring us at the door, they finally answered to tell us that we had to go through the drive threw. When told that we had already placed an order, they said they would check only to come back immediately (without checking) and say that the order wasn't ready. The first time at Irmo dunkin we got two coffees (hot) and I kid you not they were warm. I mean leave a coffee out for 1.5 hours and come back cold. Everytime I go to this Dunkin Donuts it seems as if they only have one type of Donut. This is difficult to understand since Donut is in the name. I'm going to start by saying I made a mistake on reading the date on this bottle. Two days in a row my family picked me up a coke from this location and brought them home. The first day, I opened the coke and took a drink, and it was super flat. I looked at the cap and saw Oct 19. I let it go thinking it was 2019. Second day my mother in law asked them to check the bottle and they assured her it was good. She got to the house, I took a drink, and it was also flat. I even had my family try it behind to me to make sure I wasn't crazy and they all agreed. I've been a store manager before, so instead of complaining, I decided to just call them and say hey, just want you to know the soda's are old and flat, please take a look into it. Instead of saying thank you, and promising to look into it, which would have been the end of it, the manager (who is normally super nice to my wife) decided to look at it right then, then point out that I was wrong. I took a look at my bottle, and saw the date he was talking about, and said you're right, my mistake. He then started going on about how it was impossible for these to be flat because they were fresh. I was like well, the two I had were, and I had others check. Must be bad luck. He then continued to keep going on about how it wasn't possible. So I just said look, I was just trying to give you a heads up and help you out, thanks, and I hung up. And just so you know, you can slightly crack bottle caps without breaking the rings and release the pressure so they start to go flat, even when they appear unbroken. I've seen it before. I managed video stores for years. It's a thing people. People can be so rude. There's nothing I hate more than a manager who makes it his mission to prove customers wrong even when they are, in fact, wrong. And in this case, I may have been wrong about the dates, but I know I'm right that they were flat. read more

Have been twice within the past week and while the bacon, egg and cheese croissants were really tasty, the doughnuts have been stale. Sunday, 6/14 the double chocolate doughnut was actually so dry that it was crunchy. Today we ordered a half dozen of powdered cream filled doughnuts. They were withered up and the powder had been absorbed and easy to see these were old doughnuts. We complained about the lack of freshness and were told that these were fresh. Um, no. Anyone could tell these were old doughnuts. Sadly, I think we are done with this location and with Dunkin. They did, however, refund the money for the doughnuts. read more

Dunkin has always been my go to coffee place, and when the store first opened it was great. Lately it has seemed that the coffees are not as up to standard as they used to be. When they first opened, it was great. Lately, the store seems to be understaffed. I ordered a hot coffee and a Power breakfast sandwich yesterday. I got the coffee and was asked to pull forward to get my sandwich. It took them at least 10-15 minutes before I parked the car, went inside to ask for it. All I got from the manager was that she apologizes. Wow, really? This morning, I had the same order. I decided to walk inside and see if the service was any quicker.
