Horrible customer service. Genuinely worst drive thru experience I ever had. Was rushed in the drive thru with no cars behind me, and was yelled at after he said they only have what's on the menu. I have been here multiple times over the years since it is close to my house. That said, I can tell you the Hot Now sign means nothing for starters. Secondly, depending on the time of day you come the doughnuts are not made here and instead come from the Cayce store with a limited selection. This means more than likely you get cold stale doughnuts. The service is usually decent but I'm done coming here since it's pointless and will drive the extra distance to Cayce. If I wanted cold premade doughnuts I would go to Dunkin. read more

Today I went to Krispy Kreme to receive my free dozen of original glazed donuts. If you sign up for Krispy Kreme rewards program you get special deals/ discount on the donuts ( BOGO,$1 for a dozen, and free original glazed dozen on your birthday). In my opinion when paying regular price for the donuts; I feel that the donuts could be a little bit bigger for what you are paying. Krispy Kreme doesn't just have donuts they also have hot coffees, iced coffees, lattes, milkshake, and frozen strawberry/ lemonade. They also have giftcards you can purchase and they offer catering. Krispy Kreme has inside seating, drive through, order online, and they deliver (with an additional fee). I would definitely recommend going back to Krispy Kreme. read more

Krispy Kreme is a holiday tradition for my crew. We always go after we see Santa and after looking at Christmas lights. This store was clean, plenty of staff on hand and each table had the hats laid out. We had a great, sugary filled visit. They also had buckets you can purchase and fill with donut holes for 5.99. If I could give a 0 star review I would. Pre ordered donuts for my daughters first birthday party and get there after working a 12 hour shift to be told they had no donuts and would not make anymore. I've bought my last donuts from Krispy Kreme. Walked into the Lexington location & purchased 6 pumpkin spice donuts. Each donut is $1.89 so with tax is $2.00 a donut. On top of that, 2 of the 6 were there undersized donut not much bigger that the Little Debbie powdered donuts in a convenience store. I wish I had read the reviews above before buying from this location. This was our first visit at this location. We decided to try the drive thru, which was hard to find bc there was no light at the drive thru menu at about 8 pm at night. I noticed that the hot sign is always on no matter when we pass by and I'm in the area frequently. This is strange. The donuts were not hot and not fresh. Very disappointed. Honestly the iced coffee has been 50/50 lately. Tasted old my last visit and I didn't even drink it. Also, donuts are always good but whoever is filling the creme donuts doesn't actually fill them. This has been over our last 3 visits. You take a bite and there is the most minute amount in the donut - weird. Way better then the new Dunkin Donuts they put up the street though. I'm addicted to Krispy kreme, however I could kick the habit with this place. I made a special trip here today to order the chocolate glazed donut. First off, the donuts were $12/doz. $8/half a dozen. Really? I just bought 2. I came home to eat them and they were not hot at all. In fact it was just this morning's donuts hauled in from the downtown store where they actually make them. Then they run them through the hot chocolate dip, then throw them in a box. There is an extremely rude woman who picked up the phone when I asked about non-dairy milk options for their mediocre burnt tasting coffee. At first she seemed confused about what the words "non-dairy" meant, and I had to repeat myself and she barked back "NO!" She should probably work in something other than customer service if it is inconveniencing her to answer questions. I feel that the possibility she doesn't know what non-dairy milk is slim, but if that's the case, my apologies to her. This past week, I drove through and ordered a dozen chocolate glazed.....got home with them and opened box for one and...they were hard and stale and cold! Horrible. Zero glaze! Even though I have not been eaten doughnuts too much lately, the few times I have had Krispy Kremes, the Doughnuts always seemed fresh. I like the decor of this particular location (and I am sure other locations have the same decor). Even though this store is relatively new, it is designed as it would have been when Krispy Kreme was first opened. An you can get those free hats as if you were actually making the doughnuts. I only have been coming to Krispy Kreme to get milkshakes. There is only one size offered, and it is $3.00 (pre-tax). Given that there is another food place nearby that sells milkshakes, and their largest is under $2.00 (pre-tax), you would think prices would be comparable. read more

Don't be fooled by the "25% Off When You Buy 10 Or More Dozen" special....because their "24 hour advance notice" trumps their advertised discount...even if you take delivery of your donuts 22 hours after placing the order!!! So, what it meant to me is $25 more for the donuts...because I placed the order at 1:30pm on one day, and took delivery of $100 of donuts at 11:30am the next!! No exceptions!! I stopped by this location after I ate dinner at Jersey Mikes. The hot light was on and it was calling my name...I couldn't resist. I decided to get two dozen glazed donuts so I could share at work the next day. The lady behind the counter told me she had one dozen ready to go but she had to drop the other down and let them cook. I wasnt in a rush so I had no problem waiting. After I paid 20 dollars for two dozen I decided to indulge early and eat one for dessert. I should have asked before I left how long the first dozen that was "ready to go" had been sitting out because the donuts were rock hard. I opened the hot box and they were perfect. I was very upset that one of the boxes was old and stale when the HOT light was on. For 20 dollars I would expect all of the donuts to be fresh and hot. read more

I just joined the Rewards Program and as much as I like their doughnuts, I think the coffee is awful! I couldn't even drink the one I got the other day. I dumped it out when I got home and there were so many grounds at the bottom of the cup. It was absolutely disgusting!
