Right off the highway, inside Sunoco. Always nice to be able to get some decent coffee and fill up your tank. I've ordered once by way of the drive-thru, I received really friendly service, ordering an Iced Coffee with almond milk and a $6 Breakfast. The $6 deal includes a BEC on your choice of bread, tater tots and your hot or iced coffee. Pretty good deal except the tater tots were stale and the bacon nonexistent. My second experience happened ordering inside, a helpful employee helped me out as I fumbled with the self-service kiosk. The Coffee was pretty good, this time enjoying it black. Good coffee, hot too! Always swing by when I am in the Valley. This DD is inside a building, which shares its space with a subway and gas station. The lines are fast, coffee hot. Probably worst Dunkin is New York. Except for a nice gentlemen making the drinks, customer service at the register is a nightmare. Older lady is just so bad. Had to wait 5 minutes for a receipt as she just left to the back without saying a word and then came back and handed me receipt. No hello. No thank you. On boy!! The order-on-the-run is useless. I ordered from 8 minutes away and the app said ready in 4-8 minutes. I went to the drive thru and waited ten minutes and the car at the window did not move. I backed out in the pitch black of night and drove around the building went in to ask where my small cappacino was and the worker said shes alone and did not apologize or give an e.t.a.. 27 minutes after paying for my order on the phone I went home to bed. The manager the next day refused to give me my order. He snappily told me to take it up with corporate. I think they only hire employees who haven't graduated from High School. Every person in this store has poor hygiene, no manners, and is simply incompetent. I worked at this store, at this specific location. When Sean managed the place, it was consistent, the employees were less distracted with personal conversations, and it was a professional environment. This place is terrible and it's getting worse. Understaffed and as slow as a slug in molasses. There are a few folks who work there who know what their doing and move at a New York 7:30am pace, but others just seem to be in a trance, like a developmentally disabled kid staring at a ferris wheel. Whoever is managing this place needs to step up and make some decisions. No drive-through line should ever be wrapped around the building. Un-Rehearsed customers don't help either. There is maybe nothing more aggravating than being on line behind some wooly mammoth choosing 12 donuts one at a time. Maybe have a line just for coffee and another for the 16,000 calorie diabetic breakfast club. All the employees here are so kind and genuine, especially the tall kid with brown hair. He's always very courteous and friendly.

I go here primarily based on location and because they have a drive-thru. My coffee is made incorrectly about 1/3 of the time. I taste it before I leave the window so that I can hand it right back to be remade if it is incorrect. Breakfast sandwiches are fine. Bagels are good. Donut selection and freshness is hit or miss. They are usually completely out of product if you go later in the day. If they do have donuts in the afternoon, it's a good bet they will be cardboard. Employees have been very honest saying if you want a fresh selection, come at 5am. They get one delivery a day from a DD that actually still makes the donuts. The staff is usually friendly and accommodating, just wish they would read my order before throwing things in a cup to rush me out. It doesn't work. I won't pull away unless it's right. read more

Just stopped in here yesterday when travelling to see someone who was working an evening-night shift at Vassar Hospital in Poughkeepsie. My mother had to stop in at Subway at this Sunoco and convenience store location and I thought about picking up dessert for those in my travels. And although I've seen this place in my travels when traveling past the West side of the Walkway over the Hudson State Park are, I finally thought I'd stop in. Having had a DDPerks account with money on it, I knew from other times at other locations just what donuts my family and I enjoy. Now, the donuts we ended up weren't too horrible, but the choices they had last night were rather varied. I really wanted 6 Chocolate Kreme donuts, but I had to purchase Boston Kreme instead as they don't have much selection here. I can't speak very loudly for this location, but tables are at a all-time low. I noticed only three small tables sitting just inside the doorway to the convenience store. I knew I didn't need them - as I'd be bringing them to eat elsewhere - but took note if I'd ever need to come back at other times. The place looked clean - I can definitely vouch for that. It well maintained and the outside façade wasn't all that bad either. It did look new, but was starting to show a few years age. The employee was nice, though she didn't talk much or interact much with me. She put on her gloves, grabbed the donuts and filled the box of 6 donuts - as requested. When we later opened the box less than an hour and a half later, the donuts still seemed okay. However, I was starting to tell they were getting ot that point of becoming stale. I took this near-miss on freshness as relating to the time we had while waiting for the other person. Most of the others didn't notice, so I can't vouch for their donuts instead. I had noticed they had a drive-up window, but I wasn't planning that much to need it this time around. I might not stop in the next time, but we'll have to see in time what transpires. read more

Not surprised by the terrible reviews. Went in tonight. One brunette younger who was working was really amazing and so sweet-deserves a raise. The bigger blonde chick-only can be described by words I can't post on here. I'm not sure how she keeps her job. This is the worst Dunkin' I've ever been to. I get the same coffee every day at the one by my house but decided to stop here a few times because it's by work. I gave them 3 TRIES because I know everyone has an off day, maybe people are still learning etc. All 3 times my coffee that is supposed to have a shot of espresso (that I pay extra for) tastes like nothing but milk. I know what it's supposed to taste like because I get it 4-5x a week. Maybe improper training, staff turnover? I don't know. But something is wrong. The one down the street is way better. read more

I just want my morning coffee. I tried walking in to get it and as I approach the counter, I actually get scared. Not a happy face to be found. Down right NASTY FACES. So I stop going in. I do the drive through. I always have to wait. It could be nobody on line. Well this morning was the last straw. One car in front and I'm waiting. Finally I order. Pull up to pay and get coffee (simple one - medium hot black). I see it sitting there and I wait.....workers are talking amongst themselves and with angry faces. I honk. Nothing. I love Dunkin Donuts but this is the worst Dunkin Donuts I have ever been to. Everytime I go to the Highland location, I am not exaggerating they always get my order wrong. I have not drank coffee in almost 15 years, I will ask for tea and get coffee ask for a glazed donut I get a different type of donut. I asked for milk and sugar and I don't get any sugar. I don't normally do this but, I feel that I need to!!! I used to go to DD everyday to get breakfast and my unsweetened iced tea, now when I go you are waiting 10-15 min for your order or they're getting your order wrong. I absolutely hate going to this place, but it's the only one in Highland and I don't feel like driving to New Paltz because it's out of the way. I go in today to get a sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant and I hear the guy in the back say "we don't have anymore croissants" okay fine, I'll just take it on an English muffin.... Now mind you, I have to be somewhere and I would expect my sandwiches all to be correct. Knowing before going there I turn to my fiancé and say I bet something will be wrong with this order... Sure enough, my order was wrong.! They gave me a croissant toasted wrapped it in tin foil and as I'm driving I get done eating my bagel I ask for my sausage, egg and cheese to find just a croissant.
