I ordered an iced matcha green tea drink.. first time I've ever ordered one from dunkin. When I received my drink, it had way too much ice for my liking. I asked if they would be able to put less ice in it. The lady's response was "why didn't you order it with less ice?" I told her I never ordered one of those drinks from here before. Her response was then "next time order it with less ice". Terrible customer service. Anybody with any sort of background in customer service knows that they should have fixed the problem without asking any questions. I'm not the best judge of whether a DD is good or not (assuming that there even is such a thing as a good DD) but some of the other reviews posted for this location are funny. I mean honestly if this location were THAT bad, would they have a line that regularly hangs out onto Main Street every weekday morning? Personally I come every few months for an impromptu breakfast sandwich (never matured into being a coffee drinker so whatever there) and the even more rare doughnut. Has my order ever been messed up? No Have I ever ordered more than two things? No Have they done things like put a piece of cold rock hard cheese on the sandwich? Yes Do they do that regularly? I wouldn't come back if they did it more than once. Coming here is sort of like going to the Waffle House in that if you go during breakfast hours the place is or can be mobbed but afternoons and evenings are always drive right up without a wait. Maybe if I were ordering coffee here regularly (who can afford that?) I would "get" all of the issues regarding accuracy but personally no one working here has ever been indifferent or surely and everything has always been as I ordered it or in the ballpark enough that I didn't notice/mind. Writing this review as I sit in the drive through because at this point I am invested and want to see how it turns out. Pulled up and there was one car in front of me. After sitting for a few minutes with no one taking her order she left. I pulled up and waited at the speaker. Now the lobby doesn't open until 6 but the drive through is open at 5 and there was a car in the parking lot so I assume someone is working. I wait another couple minutes and the car in the parking lot leaves. Now I don't know if there is even anyone there. After a few more minutes of nothing I'm running out of time to get to work and need to grab breakfast items for a meeting. I pull up to the window and look in. Lights are on but I see no movement. This dunkin is overall a horrible establishment. The communication with the employees is very poor. they don't speak very well english and were giving me attitude. i tried to use the mobile app and he told me my code was expired mind you i just downloaded the app when i walked in. i ordered a avacado toast and it tasted sour. the donuts aren't covered and i have seen flys on them before. the boards with the prices aren't correct. i asked how much a classic donut was and he said 1.49 but the board says 1 dollar. i then asked how much a sausage egg and cheese on a bagel was he said 4.69 or something around there but the sausage egg and cheese on a croissant was supposedly 3 dollars. i know that bagel did not cost 1.50. the environment of this dunkin feels very dirty they'res only a couple seats in there, crumbs on every table and just looks ghetto. the only seats they have are all ripped up. i would not recommend waisting your time here starbucks is way better. read more

Went to Dunkin. My mom ordered a Heath iced espresso and 2 frozen lemonades. The lady taking our order in the drivethru was nice. Drove up to the window and the lady there kept asking about the heath coffee. My mom wanted an iced Heath espresso but the woman was confused if my mom wanted the ice actually in the coffee (like a real iced coffee??) or on the side. Early this morning I pre-paid for an order of donuts to pick up on my way to work to take into my students for Valentine's day. I received confirmation my order was placed. When I arrived, D&D staff inform me they "don't take online orders" and that I should "check the app again." My order was in fact placed, a message stating, "Thank you for your order" and my credit card was charged. The woman in the drive through said, "Oh, your the 5 dozen donuts." If you don't "use the app ordering feature" how do you know my order and why couldn't you fulfill it an hour earlier when I ordered, canceled it on your end or NOT CHARGE my credit card $59.95? Not sure what is going on with this location but for the past month it's been getting very difficult to get a cup of coffee in a TIMELY MANNER. It's ALWAYS backed up onto main street. I'm a morning regular at this location. For the most part the service is excellent. They seem to have high turnover because I don't see the same people for very long. I like the friendliness of the staff here I've only ordered coffee and lattes so far but they have been correct every time and consistent on flavor which can vary greatly on whose making it. This is a somewhat tough review. Reasoning behind that is the morning crew, most of, are very friendly and give you what you order. They make it enjoyable to go back. Now for the later part of the day FORGET IT! I looked at the schedule posted, because they are hiring all shifts, and it must be something in the people they choose for after 1200. Service is the pits. Today I decided to due walk in and not be lazy. As soon as I walk in I'm met by two employees hanging a poster that almost hit me square between the eyes, no worries things happen. Next I had to negotiate multiple mop buckets and garbage to get to the register (hindsight I wish I took a picture), so I make it to the register and order one drink coffee with milk and sugar ( one person in line). The girl repeats my order I check out and as soon as I get in the car......... it's just black. Now I'm not too picky as far as my coffee but it appears they memory retention is lacking. Under staffed and poor service. This morning I ordered a large and medium hot chocolate. Of course, the machine ran out of the hot chocolate mix and so at 7:10 AM she had to restock the machine. So as the inside line grew she restocked the machine, and filled and my order. I specifically said to her "are you sure that those are good since it ran out while you filling them?" She said yes. So with the line 7 deep I took the hot chocolate and left. I get to work and take a sip of the hot chocolate, it was nothing but brown hot water. I'm a bit peeved. They should check these machines before they open in the morning, and they should run a test cup before filling customer orders. I tend to avoid DD in general since I'm more of a Starbucks girl. That being said, when I'm late for work and don't want to go out of my way for my A.M. caffeine then I'll hit up this local Dunkin. Three times during this past week (way more often than usual) I made it here. I hadn't been for a while but I was running late. Every. single. one. of those stops was an abysmal experience. Each one of those times I ordered an iced latte, no sugar, no whipped cream. 2 out of 3 times I got flavoring in the latte. The last time I got sugar - and I mean SUGAR. There were literally mounds of granules at the bottom of my cup. (Whatever happened to liquid sugar for coffee anyway?) Each time the employees were bored and indifferent with my situation. Everything in their mannerisms told me "Yawn. This happens every day - because we couldn't care less about the customer's satisfaction." A couple of times I dealt with the manager - exact same attitude. In fact, they do not give refunds, they only "re-make" your drink. In short: rude employees, rude manager, incompetent staff, and completely inconsistent beverages. I just got a French press for my birthday and, in the future, will be relying on that rather than paying $7 for a terrible experience and 90 mg of caffeine. read more

I'd give the, a zero or a minus 12 if I could. This is just today's experience. There have been many others. First, I waited in line over 10 minutes at the drive through. When I got there, I gave the guy $20.07 for a $4.57 order. He gave me NO CHANGE. When I reminded him (because I always tell them what I am giving them as I hand it to them), he said, "oh yeah, sorry." He then opened the drawer and handed me $15.20 in change. I said, "I should get $15.50 in change, not $15.20, my whole point was to get quarters back." He said, "Uh, I don't know how to do that." Then he oped the drawer again and gave me the 2 quarters. I handed him back the 20 cents and he again looked confused, but he stuck it in the drawer. Then he hands me my (cold) drink with no straw, so I had to ask for a straw. Then he handed me my bag with donuts in it. I drove away, thinking everything was fine. It wasn't. They were the wrong type of donuts. So I went back and told them I wanted the correct donuts. They finally got them for me, and took the other donuts back (I hope they did not put them out again--I could have spit on them. I didn't--but I could have). Just ridiculous. And at least one if not more of these things happens literally EVERY time I go there. Problem is, there is no where else in town that is (supposedly) quick and on the way. We need a Starbucks, or at least a better DD. read more

Skip this dunkin at all costs. I live right up the street and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. For 3 days in a row I tried to get them to do a cold brew coffee with light cream. Lets dive into all 3 days. Day 1 my cold brew had heavy cream, when I told them to make another one they either didn't and just handed me back the original, or someone made it the same exact way. So I told them to take it back again and give it to me without cream. Day 2 I got light cream, but it wasn't cold brew. Maybe it was iced coffee, but it seems the people here don't know the difference. The 3rd day I finally got light cream, but this time it had so much sugar I had to throw it away. So I called the store about 5 times and i never get a live person or a response. The owners of this DD obviously have no no manager training in place or simply don't care because they are the only show in town. Not really one to complain but I have been coming to this Dunkin' Donuts for a while now and it has just been going down hill. I'm not sure if the employees don't give a crap, management is poor or a combination of the two. This place is notorious for having incredibly long wait times in the drive thru. So I decided I would time how long it takes to get a coffee, donut and hash browns on a Sunday morning. There were 2 cars in front of me and no one behind me. It took a total of 13 minutes for me to get my order. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I thought maybe they were short staffed or busy inside. Nope. No one inside and 2 girls "working" one of which was standing there literally staring off into space and one working. To top it off they also got my order incorrect as well. This place will always stay in business because of the pure fact that they are the only DD in Hellertown but hopefully management can see this and tell the employees to get it together. read more

Met a friend of mine here at 9AM on a weekday. We are middle-aged housewives. We both got a coffee and I purchased a box of doughnuts to take home. We sat talking quietly in a corner and drinking our coffee until 10:15. Place was totally empty, as you might expect on a weekday. We were the only ones in the place. All the more surprising when the manager came over and explained that we had overstayed the "30 minute rule." I explained that there was no such rule posted. To which he replied, "This is the rule everywhere. Any restaurant you go." I said, "I have never once been asked to leave a restaurant which is empty, during business hours, and at which I have made a purchase." He suggested that I buy something else to extend my stay. But of course I will never spend money there again. Coffee was good, doughnuts were so-so, Napoleonic general manager (must have dropped his title at least three times) is the reason to skip it. If I could I would give 0 stars for the drive through service at night. Went there tonight for a large ice coffee with a turbo shot the employee had to see if they had it they said they did, so I continued with my order little bit of cream extra sugar. The employee told me she was not going to charge me for the turbo just for the coffee. I get the coffee and it was very light like it had extra creamer. Of course I said something to the employee about my coffee ( I ordered a little bit of cream extra sugar if I want just creamer to drink I would have got that instead) she took the coffee back as she was making a new coffee another employee come to the window telling me that she will need to charge me for the turbo after the other employee told me that she wasn't going to. This other lady was rude inconsiderate and nasty, I'm not going to lie but I did exchange a few words with her, she slammed the window said I'm not going to get my coffee which I paid for.
