This Dunkin' is pretty speedy and always accurate, but I hate the fact that there is no easy access from the opposite side of dual highway. If I want to grab a coffee in the morning I am always on the wrong side and it takes me a few minutes out of my way with having to pass the actual store and then when you exit you have to go the opposite direction to do another u turn. Some staff was super nice, but some are clearly unhappy to be there. The food and drink is definitely up to DD standards, but for the other reasons I took stars off. read more

This is by far the worst dunkin I have ever been to . Store manager (MALE) is extremely rube to customers and staff. Ive sat in my car and watched him scream at a 16-year-old (that worked here) and her mom months ago .. This guy is beyond rude . I went in to get my order that went in as drive thru but i tried changing it to walk in .. I explained to them that my order was originally for drive thru but i tried changing it on the app. He was getting extremely rude saying no we don't have it when i could see it sitting in the Drive thru window. so i waiting another 10 minutes and asked again are you sure you didn't receive it because it did come out of my bank account, and I have a confirmation on the app that it was sent here, in which I showed them.The women at the drive thru was the only one that could understand what i was saying but was rude about how she approached the whole situation. She asked me are you sure that I put it in for the right time, I said yes, it says ASAP. It was sent to this location and I can see it sitting there. I've never had a problem big enough at this Dunkin to ever warrant feedback, and hopefully that won't have to change, I'd like to keep being a regular. There was no one at the counter to take my order, and I made my coffee with the digital kiosk- but I'm not a barista. I don't know how to craft my regular drink with a multi-tool options menu. If I wanted a vaguely-caramelled iced coffee with four unmixed sugars on the bottom I would have made it at home for free. Absolutely no hate to staff- they are some of my favorite people. I ordered a hot vanilla chai and it tasted like hot milky water so as I poured it down the sink I realized that the problem was they hadn't mixed it up at all! If only zero stars were an option. You'll notice this is my second review on this location. As stated in my previous review, I was so dissatisfied with the service here I stopped going. I started driving out of my way to hit Starbucks by Valley Mall. This morning my son really wanted a donut, so I decided why not give Dunkin' another chance? I ordered a chocolate frosted donut and a caramel coffee. They gave me a Boston Creme donut. When I pointed out the mistake they then tried to give me an actual chocolate donut. They got it right on the third try. We left and my son was happy. I thought my coffee smelled off, but it wasn't until I got to work and the coffee cooled enough to sip. They wrote caramel on the cup, but sent me on my less than merry way with hazelnut. Unfortunately for me, I can't stomach that particular flavor. It has a nasty after taste. ( Personal opinion) so I had to throw the whole thing out. For them to screw up this badly on the one day I happen to give them a second chance after months away, I have no choice but to believe this is a regular thing for them. So long story short. I went in myself and saw case with cakes. There were two people who as soon as the door opened said we're closed. They looked to be cleaning. I asked for an iced macchiato with ice (something I always get). I never get ice in any drink anywhere. And I was waiting for a response for 3 minutes. Then they tell me they have to put ice in it. I tell them how I get it all the time & I'm pretty sure you can, you just skip the step where you add ice. Then the manager beeps in with a nasty attitude "I'm the manager and I said no we can't do no ice." First of all, isn't the point of ordering coffee being able to customize your drink? And second, I didn't know not adding ice affects your paycheck that much. The coffee was really strong, (don't like coffee flavor) all syrup at bottom drank big glob of syrup because not stirred up. I know there was not 5 shots of caramel swirl because I buy coffee daily from DD I'm Frederick. The coffee was horrible strong gave me a headache. The four breakfast sandwiches were dried up and burnt. The breakfast fries were cold, hard and burnt. $1 for 6 little black hard disc called a potato, did not even fill up half of the bag. Normally the only good Dunkin' Donuts in the area however I had a horrible experience today. Went through the drive through and the women couldn't hear me and told me to speak up (even though I was talking loud enough to begin with) so I talked a little louder so she could hear me. I then go to the window to pay and the women was completely rude when I was paying and she handed me what I purchased. Terrible customer service. We waited in a drive through for over 20 minutes for them to screw up our orders. We asked for 3 almond milk lattes because we had people with lactose intolerance in our party and they confirmed that we had almond milk lattes. Once we got up to the window after waiting 20 minutes, we asked again to confirm if they were almond milk and they said no and that we hadn't asked for almond milk. Current time 6:00 P.M. Ordered Large Ice Caramel Craze Latte. Cashier proceeds to ring order but stopped and went to ask another cashier something. Awful! Unorganized. Signature Latte wasn't so signature... "caramel craze" with no caramel. Nice, clean and bright. Enough seating for 30+ customers with plenty of standing room at counters. Employees seemed to be friendly to locals, but indifferent to other customers. This location is near Route 70 and is accessible by cars. It is a bit farther from the interstate than I would have liked, but not too far for DD fans. Coffee was fresh. I would have given a higher rating if the employees were more outgoing. I prefer the DD in Burtonsville, MD, but this was a welcome break on my way to Cumberland. read more

Being a college student, coffee is literally what keeps me going. I have been going to this dunkin for a long time and I always thought it was great. They would occasionally mess up my order but that happens sometimes. With that being said, as of recent, my coffees that I have gotten are AWFUL. For example the last time and probably THE last time I go there my iced coffee was watered down. Absolutely awful. I've had coffees with grounds in it, coffee that's tasted burnt, just awful. Prior to the past month, I would have given them five stars, but the service from the kitchen has changed drastically. I can only comment on the weekday morning service, since that's when I tend to go. I used to love the breakfast sandwiches. They were always hot, toasty and fresh tasting. But in the last month, I have been receiving barely warmed sandwiches, with cold cheese and lukewarm overall ingredients. I don't know if they are under pressure to make a certain time per order, or if the management has changed, but this has killed it for me. I limit my orders to coffee and tea now, and buy my sandwiches at McDonalds. I did hear from an employee a few months ago that they received complaints about sending people around the corner to wait for food, but, honestly, they were still very quick, and the food was hot. I never minded and made sure to tell them. The reason they are so busy is because the food was hot, and the service was always friendly and quick. Stopped here last night. Worst customer service I've experienced in Hagerstown, and that's saying a lot. I ordered a large frozen hot chocolate for my boyfriend . Medium reg coffee for me . I asked for creamer on the side and immediately got exasperated sighs from the cashier. Really? Why?!?!Then when I got to the window, I paid, got my hot coffee then she gave me a medium frozen hot chocolate and slammed the window shut . No 'thank you' and she wouldn't come back to the window so I could tell her I was charged for a large. Management needs to deal with this . If she doesn't like her job, QUIT!
