A bit late posting the review. Excited to try T'd Off because of how much we loved the former…read moreTemper Grill. We came in for dinner after making a reservation. There were four of us. Started off with the cheese curds. Well, they aren't really curds in the normal sense. The are creamy cubes of cheese breaded and fried. We really liked them. Different to say the least. I love meat loaf. I was really happy to see that as a menu choice. That was my order. It was good, but the glaze topping was really sweet. Almost too much. And the loaf was not dense at all (good thing!). My wife ordered the Chicken Bau buns. The first one she bit into was undercooked. Zero problem getting that replaced by a very polite and apologetic cook. Other entrees were the hangar steak (excellent) and blackened shrimp salad (also great). Finished off with a chocolate crème brûlée. Wonderful. Service was wonderful. We did not ask for anything because of the undercooked chicken. Our server removed it from the bill anyway. That's how you know a restaurant cares and wants you back. And we will be.

Incredible food and a very casual atmosphere. Highly recommended. We will be back for sure!

By no means am I qualified to rate coffee because my…read more"coffee" runs typically consists of coffee lattes with too much cream and way too much sugar. The Victorian Pantry is located in a small commercial strip that is easily missed if you are not a local or not already a loyal customer. My fiancé and I were visiting Granger during the holidays and The Victorian Pantry came up several times during conversation with glowing reviews so we thought to make a trip with a few friends before make the drive back to Chicago. The "cafe" itself is really tiny with 1 table available (to our surprise since we were meeting friends for coffee!). The business is mainly operating through online/worldwide orders of coffee beans/focaccia/other goodies. The owner decided to downsize from their original cafe that sat 100 guests to focus on their worldwide distribution of coffee. He was very kind and accommodating and gave us an extra stool so we can sit and chat while enjoying the delicious fresh brewed coffee! I tried the walnut roast blend with cream (no sugar) for about $3- ~ 16oz - 20 oz coffee! Not a bad deal at all. Again, I am not a coffee connoisseur, but the coffee was very smooth, nutty, and really intricate in flavor (delicious even without the sugar I'm used to having in order to mask the typical coffee taste!). You can buy fresh ground coffee (and I believe coffee beans) here at the store, or you can order online to have them ship it right to your door. Makes for a really nice gift for your coffee lover friends/family!

My friends (who do drink a lot of coffee) had the white Christmas blend and said it was delicious. You'll never stumble upon this place unless you're looking for it, as it's now back hidden on princess way. Very small interior and not much of a 'restaurant' anymore. My friends bought some coffee to go and I know several other people who frequently purchase coffee and focaccia from here and they say it is always delicious. If you're in the area, definitely check this place out. If you're not, give them a look online. Either way, this place exceeded expectations.

Better late than never! So this visit was me, my bf, and his parents in honor of my boyfriend's birthday in 2025. The exterior is really nice and new, as is the interior! More on that in a bit... We had a reservation that we made weeks in advance but still had a wait. Rocky River Tap and Table were definitely understaffed and it took forever to get waited on and then we waited nearly 30 minutes to put in our food order. Our waitress was Amy and she tried but she definitely had too many tables. Once we got our drink and food orders, I sipped on a cider from Round Barn in Michigan (refreshing!) and I ordered a $21 bison burger with sweet potato fries (tasty!). I always get sweet potato fries whenever they are an option and this was a very generous portion. We had cheese biscuits to share and all 4 of us were addicted to them. The biscuits were so unique! My bf got a free birthday dessert of a carmel brownie dessert that was diverse in flavors and a crispy salted crispy-ness on the bottom 9/10. He, of course, shared his dessert because he's a very lovely and well-trained guy! Haha! So we enjoyed the food and the drinks but were not inpressed with the service. How about the decor and ambiance? Well, Rocky River recently underwent a renovation and it looks spectacular! The interior was white with moss on the walls and poinsettas everywhere as it was the holiday season of 2025. It is perfect for classy Instagram-worthy photos. I didn't pay for our dinner but I found that the prices were decent for the most part. I'd come back on a slower day. Where else can I get a bison burger with sweet potato fries for only $21 in Michiana?
