Their cinnamon caramel donut is a must! It's what they're known for. It's covered in a sweet caramel sauce and dusted with cinnamon sugar. Perfectly moist, unbelievably addictive. Manager was friendly and informative about this specific location and how it compared to other local franchises of Rise 'n Roll eateries in the area. Location is in a newer upscale shopping center on busy Cassopolis Street not far from Bristol Street. Merchandise design is thoughtful with a large mural in seating area depicting a a scenic country road with horse and buggy. I have been a customer since this location opened. I hadn't been there in months due to changes in my travel patterns for work. This morning my wife and I decided to stop in for some donuts. There was a line of 4-5 people ahead of us. As we approached the line I saw a man angrily leave before ordering. Then I watched as the lady working the counter treated a lady quite rudely. Same thing with the man who was next. My wife informed her we would be ordering 4 donuts and the lady behind the counter grabbed a bag. My wife asked her to use a small box instead. The lady informed her that they were low on boxes so she couldn't do so...then asked my wife why she didn't want the donuts in a bag. My wife told her it was because the donuts would get the toppings on each other. The lady began to argue with her. We had our fill of her abysmal customer service skills and canceled our order. The lady said it was too bad that my wife was angry and snidely said for her to have a nice day. At that point I asked this miserable excuse of an employee who she thought she was talking to? I advised that we were CUSTOMERS and she had no business speaking to us with such a terrible attitude. The gentleman who was "served" right before us thanked me for addressing her conduct. My wife asked another employee to get the manager for us to speak to and she sheepishly stated that the lady WAS the manager. I let the manager know her conduct was going to be reported to corporate. I decided to add a yelp review as well. We have always had great service at this and several other Rise n Roll locations. Never did we expect this. Got the six pack which is $7.49. Got the cinnamon caramel, white powdered, and chocolate. The cinnamon caramel is always the way to go! It's so delicious. It's soft, fluffy, tasty, and has the right amount of sugar. Don't get the white powder. It's not good. Take the cinnamon caramel and take away the taste and sweetness. It's bland. The chocolate is okay. It's just there. Nothing special about it. The service was weird. The first guy seemed like he did not want to serve us and wanted us to hurry along which I thought was rude. This is a great place! The selection is not near as big as other local places. But their cinnamon rolls are great! We decided to buy some deli sandwiches while we were there this time. They were good but not great. No 5 stars because we had to wait a way longer time than expected for our 4 sandwiches. It was actually way rediculious how long we waited! I have been here twice and each time I had a really great donut. Everything else looks really good, but I have to stick with the donuts.

This was a huge disappointment! The cinnamon roll I got was hard, old, and tasted like the refrigerator. The donut my wife got was stale and tasteless. The only reason why I'm giving it two stars is because of the feel and the cleanliness, service left something to be desired as well! Sorry, won't be coming back. read more
