I've ordered cupcakes from them before, but yesterday I emailed asking for a custom order and they got back to me almost immediately with practical advice and great ideas for my event. We first heard about this place after seeing a groupon offer and it is FANTASTIC! Although it is a bit hard to find and off the beaten path its a gem in the rough. The cupcakes are amazing. They usually offer about a dozen different varieties and have seasonal or even daily special creations. They offer 2 sizes regular and mini, and are always a good value. I have been fortunate to have cupcakes from a number of the "cupcake wars" companies. Mini Delights is good - if not better to those cupcakeries. I was out walking in downtown Elkhart and was surprised to see a new bakery so, without hesitation I popped in and was oh so pleasently surprised to find a gourmet cupcake shop. The selections were impressive to say the least and the quality and taste of all the items I tried are on par with some of the best baked goods I have had in the region. The strawberry cupcakes are extremely eye catching with the large pieces of chopped strawberry whipped in to the light and airy butter cream frosting. The red velvets are equally impressive as well as the weekly rotation of special flavors. I am so pleased to know that if I want gourmet designer cupcakes I won't have to travel to Chicago or online anymore. read more

We've bought from Mini Delights for years now including for my brothers wedding. My experience on 2/28/19 was terrible. My family will not be coming back. The cupcakes all were dry as if frozen and thawed. No one returned my call from a day or two before and the girl that sold to me at 10 am was so rude. Don't think you should be annoyed that your first guest is buying all the strawberry cupcakes you have. Never again! read more

Mini delights is so wonderful! Must trys: snickerdoodle, strawberry, chocolate mocha, and maple bacon. Parking can be a pain in the butt. Park on Main St and walk through the alley so you don't have to second guess. read more

Incredibly overpriced....received a quote for my wedding and she was more than a fill size cupcake at a "well-known" bakery in town! She claimed to use high quality baking ingredients......kind of made an remark that other bakeries may use low quality ingredients?!? I wasn't impressed and won't ever recommend this place. read more

Good cupcakes and friendly staff. Got my sons 3rd b-day cake there and was very specific about wanting a train theme, even had a convo with the lady about how much he freaks out every time he sees them. I was shocked when I picked it up.. And saw there was nothing to do with trains on the cake. Very disappointed. read more
