There are a few donuts that I order at every donut shop to assess the donut making skills: the raised glazed, old fashioned and on occasion the apple fritter. If the glazed donut is light and fluffy, with not too much chew, that's a good glazed donut. The old fashioned donut must be crispy on the outside and not too oily. The Apple fritter too should not be too oily (difficult to do) and crispy on the outside. I didn't order an apple fritter during this visit, but it's a great donut if it is done properly. The glazed donuts were light and fluffy with the right amount of chewiness and the old fashioned was delicious. The lady in the shop was very friendly. I definitely recommend this donut shop.

My Fiancé and I popped in to get some work done on vacation, and wound up spending most of the time befriending the wonderful barista behind the counter, who gave us drip coffee refills and free donuts from yesterday ("Yesterday's treasures"). I haven't Yelp reviewed in a second, but the Fiancé insisted I support this business. Better Together is in good hands with a 4.9, but I'll happily bump them up even further.
