Such a cute little coffee shop and the coffee is honestly delicious! The barista was so sweet and the service was fast. Would absolutely recommend getting a hot latte with oat milk, white chocolate and toasted marshmallow!

Strawberry banana smoothie and an iced latte with oat milk and almond+vanilla flavoring..... perfection. Latte was amazing. The inside was adorable! Highly recommend stopping by here

A wonderfully little coffee shop on the side of the road. Very little cell service and no Wi-Fi, but you don't go for coffee for those things. I ordered a caramel mocha latte and I can say it was one of the best I have ever had. My friend ordered a chia tea latte and he said it was much better than Starbucks. They do have a bathroom singular outside by the drive thru building. If I am ever in the area again I will stop here in a heart beat. Great coffee and great staff.

We never miss an opportunity to stop at this wonderful coffee shop. They have great coffee, sweets and local art. Beautiful halfway point for us heading to visit friends and family in western NC.

Parties must wait outside before entering. 3-person limit capacity.

Ahh. I wish I could give this place more than two stars. Let me share with you why. First, pros & cons. Pros: coffee and bagels are legit. Very good. I tried their cold brew coffee and it was smooth. Not bitter like other coffee locations that sell cold brew. Cons: the customer service was what brought the review down..... not very friendly here. I noticed there were other reviews mentioning the staff also being rude to another reviewer. Barista seemed annoyed by our questions. Here was another experience: If you look at the pictures, you'll notice the coffee shop has displayed a rule about the capacity of people at the entrance of the coffee shop. "3 person maximum capacity." However their rule did not apply to all customers. When my husband and I walked inside there were a total of four people. We were asked to step outside since it was over capacity. We responded, sure no problem. The group that was before us (4 people) and after us (4 people) went over capacity. However, no one told them to step out. I kindly mentioned I was planning to write a review and wanted to make sure I understood why they allowed two parties in, one before us and the other after us, that lead to over capacity. But we were the only ones told to step outside. Their response: we can't man the doors all the time... We have no problem with rules. We completely respect the rules, especially during a pandemic. We felt like the way and manner in which the rules were communicated and the lack of consistency with their customers, lead to a bad experience for us.

Cute little coffee shop! Latte was really good! Staff was friendly. There was a little bit of a wait time but good fresh coffee takes time to make. Definitely recommend stopping in.

The bagels were very different from any we have had before, had a very home baked bread taste. The sweet potato bowl was very flavorful and hit just the right note for lunch. We did get a couple baked goods to go as well. The coffee was pretty good, they have tons of flavors to choose from and make some signature drinks too. The staff is very friendly and will give excellent recommendation. The decor is rustic cute. Worth a visit!!!

The shop itself is adorable, clean, and had a steady flow of customers. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I ordered an iced dirty chai latte, which is my go-to whenever I'm trying a new coffee shop because it's a pretty reliable way to compare places. It was good, and exactly what I was hoping for. I also tried the cinnamon roll. It was tasty, but pretty standard. Looking back, I think I'd try one of their other bakery items next time. My friend ordered one of their homemade biscuits. It took quite a while to come out--around 15 to 20 minutes--and several other customers were served before we received it. It honestly felt like the biscuit may have been forgotten, which was a little disappointing. Overall, though, we had a pleasant experience. Nothing was overpriced, the staff was kind, and it's the type of local place I always encourage travelers to support. While there are a couple of other coffee shops in Bryson City I'd probably try before returning, I still think La Dolce Vita Bakery is worth a visit so you can form your own opinion. Every café has busy days, and one experience doesn't define a business. If you're looking for a cozy local spot for coffee and a pastry while exploring downtown Bryson City, it's definitely worth stopping in.

I got it hot, because of the cool mornings here in the valley. It paired great with the Orange cranberry Scone! Of course I got it warmed! It was so moist and yummy, no butter needed there! I talked to the owners daughter and she told me the bakers arrive at 3:00-4:00 am so everything is fresh each day! My friend got a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, cheese on a fresh made bagel! There was a chipotle aioli on the sandwich that made it over the top! I had to have a bite, just to tell everyone about it! Shhh! I might have snuck an extra bite! So SO YUMMY! The decor in the shop is so coffee chic.. loved it! Super comfy chairs and tables if you need to work. Outside plenty of tables and comfy arm chairs. They even have a fire pit for those chilly mountain days! Don't want to leave the kids out? No worries! They have a play ground! They even have a little stage area... I will be watching for some live eclectic coffee house music... hoping that will be soon! Please do not miss Morning Fog Coffee and Eats! It's a great place to treat yourself and your tummy!

The brewery has a great rooftop atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing with a drink while taking in downtown Bryson City. They also host live music, although we weren't able to stay long enough to catch the performance. The highlight of our visit was definitely the bartender. I wish I remembered their name because they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They took the time to recommend drinks, suggest places around Bryson City to explore, and even gave us recommendations for campgrounds where we could stay that night. Those kinds of interactions are what make traveling so memorable. We had originally planned to grab food from the restaurant downstairs, but that didn't work out during our visit. Thankfully, the brewery itself more than made up for it with its relaxed atmosphere and outstanding hospitality. If you're looking for a laid-back rooftop spot to enjoy a local beer, listen to live music, or chat with friendly locals while exploring Bryson City, Mountain Layers Brewing Company is definitely worth a stop. We'd happily grab another drink here the next time we're in town.
