One of my favorite places to eat! Many options, both breakfast and lunch depending on when you go. Workers are super friendly and is a great place to meet up with friends to chat and eat!

Gonna be honest with you, looked at some of the pictures here on yelp and thought that it wasn't that impressive. Ended up eating there and let me tell you!! My breakfast was amazing! The cold brew was tasty! I'm gonna eat there again tomorrow! I don't even wanna try a different place!

828 Cafe was the perfect lunch spot for us while passing thru town. The menu has tons of variety. We sat in the patio and enjoyed fresh lemonade, an acai bowl, fries and a chorizo burrito - all delicious! You could tell everything was prepared fresh. I look forward to stopping by again next time we're in the area.

Absolutely lovely restaurant with incredible food! I have a gluten sensitivity and the tick-born disease Alpha-gal so I can't eat red meat or dairy. Was excited to see gluten free bread and vegan options on the menu! They have excellent cold brew coffee and an impressive selection of aqua frescas. I got watermelon and it was incredible! Kind servers, clean, and they have a patio!

    Beautiful hand-painted murals all around!

The artwork drew us in, the ambiance, food, and service will bring us back. We were visit family in the area, and drove by this beautifully adorned cafe. There were 5 of us and it was very quick to order at the counter - a wide array of breakfast options with plenty of Latin American flair, which was perfect for us. We had the croissant sandwich with bacon, eggs, and French toast, the guava French toast, and more than I can recall now, but I snapped a few pics before it all disappeared - every bite was delicious. One of the employees, I believe it was Mariana, but it was hard to hear clearly with the hubbub of this local favorite. I highly recommend and we'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

Our cafe offers inspired health-conscious cuisine focused on sustainable ingredients and organic whenever possible. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, brunch or lunch-with organic, vegan or gluten free options available."-David & Beatriz Gomez (828 Owners). (Quote from their website) I had: Chicken or Chorizo Bowl. $9.99... Chicken or Chorizo, Rice, Black Beans, Lettuce, Pico de Gallo, Sour Cream, Cheese, w/house Potato chips and house Roasted Salsa...add Avocado $1.69 Wife had: Chicken BLT Wrap $10.99... Tomato Basil Wrap, Signature chicken tenders, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Ranch, w/side of house Potato Chips Parking: The cafe has free parking and easily accommodated the lunch time crowd with spaces in the front (including handicap) as well on the side in a lot, and in the back as well. 828 Cafe's appearance from the street is striking!!! It features a mural of a black Bears face with the mountains in the background. It was done (according to website) by an artist friend named Marina who is amazing! Take time to walk around the outside and see all the different scenes she did. Inside: 828 is order-@-the counter and take a seat and in a short bit your food is delivered. Many folks were ordering take-out or picking up orders already called in. If you're into Kombucha they have that too! Food: The Chorizo Bowl was well composed, tasty, healthy, and filling. I would order again unless I decided to go for the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich instead, Lol. My wife really liked the Chicken BLT Wrap. It was plenty of food but light and healthy for lunch. The price point for lunch was good for us. The breakfast menu is worth it if you are there at that time of day. They have great choices of omelettes, french toast, waffles and breakfast bowls with some creative touches and often a Latin twist. Drinks Organic Coffee Drip 12 oz. $2.29 16oz $2.69 refill $1.00 Cold Brew 16 oz. $3.00 Specialty Drinks Kombucha $4.50 kefir Soda $4.50 I highly recommend (and no, I do not know the owners. It's the 1st time we have visited here.) ...we will come back.

Best sandwich shop in Franklin. Service is over the counter. It looks and feels like an old time sandwich shop (pre the fast food craze).

The food itself is the quiet star. Each dish arrives as a small masterpiece of balance--flavors layered with intention, textures that surprise without gimmickry. In short, this is one of the very best restaurants I've ever visited--anywhere. It doesn't chase trends or demand attention; it earns it through quiet excellence. If you value food that respects both ingredient and diner, make the reservation. You'll likely find yourself, as I did, already planning the return visit. Highly recommended--worth every moment and mile, and we come from SWFL.

I chose the opal basil dish with scallops. I have celiac, so rice was the base for a gluten free option. My husband had the crawfish with cognac and pasta dish. The descriptions on the menu were very different, however the dishes seemed to have the same base sauce. And boy was it salty!!! My husband adds salt to everything and both dishes were too salty even for his taste. Hoping this was a one off and quality hasn't declined. On a better note, the gingerbread cake was top notch!!

I got the coconut refresher, not too sweet and still had caffeine. They have topo Chico, my favorite sparkling water, so they got bonus points for that. They have a pastry window(?) that had a decadent looking, huge, slice of blueberry coffee cake and a cheesecake I would have tried if I was in the mood for sweets. I saw a couple enjoying it and letting the staff know the coffee was delicious. The tables are spacious, there were only around 6 people when I went and the atmosphere made it easy to ignore the other people and write this. But other "strangers" began conversations so it is still inviting. The music is acoustical versions of modern songs. I saw a staff cleaning the counters around the place while I ate so they definitely keep it clean. The gentleman who took my order was friendly and not overbearing. Overall perfect place to sit and read on my break from a gloomy day. Only note would be that I wanted my food for here and they made it to go.

The barista created us right away and let us know there were menus on the counter to look at. Ordering was quick and we reviewed our drinks rather quickly. We ordered the Cortadito and a brown sugar cinnamon latte. The latte was way too strong with little oat milk. The cordito was very sweet, if you prefer less sweet be sure to ask for it.
