Good quality but food takes a long time - not the place to stop at if you are headed to catch a flight..

Outside is decorated well, and with it close to the lake and the park its got lots of alternative seating options around. Inside is a little sparse on seating and decoration. It's very much a brand new location just getting itself set up. It's got a little of the macabre themes but it's light and open. So it's basic but has a little character. The got a house blend with a snickers latte. No coffee cups just to-go. Took my pics and began the trek home. The coffee was very hot when I got it. They brew their drip coffee in large brewing stands so it's a very hot brewing method. Lose a lot of the subtle flavor notes that way, but as it cooled down I was able to get the bright and mid notes. It's a strong roasted flavor mid with a little of the bright fruity notes on top. With better temp control, would probably get more of the fruit notes. Good coffee, just limited by the technique. The snickers latte was surprisingly pleasant. It had a decent amount of sugar but the roasted peanut flavor combined with the roasted coffee flavor notes really played well against each other. It really helped cut through the caramel sweetness and led to a nice sweet dessert like sip. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the lead brewer was happy to talk about their beans and process. They were busy though, so couldn't get all the details. But they know their beans and their roast. Price is actually kinda low for the quality. Not upset about that, but I suspect that they may raise prices as time goes on to match other coffee shops. They do make their own bakery items but the selection is limited. The cookie I had was a solid oatmeal raisin but wasn't unique or different. Just a well executed oatmeal raisin. As a coffee shop, it's still figuring itself out. Once it gets its character and refines its brew then it stands to be a strong coffee shop for the area. For now, it's great but basic.

Most times when I am traveling, I don't like to get items I would normally get at home anyway…read more That being said, Connecticut IS still my home state and so I can be a little more flexible here, and so I chose Starbucks. Plus, I want to save my money for when I switch planes in Charlotte and have lunch. Anyway, being the Starbucks guy that I am, I chose this over other franchise places like Dunkin or McDonald's. I did a Mocha Cookie Frap given these are the summer months, and did a double shot espresso as I spent the whole night packing for my flight. I also like to get 6 shots of peppermint in my mochas as what wooed me to Starbucks all these years has always been the Peppermint Mocha that comes during the holidays. For me, nothing beats that magic. I did also experiment by adding in a Salted Caramel Cold Brew in my drink because I didn't quite remember what my usual order was. It's been a while since I gone back to Starbucks. But no matter where I go it's always a welcome addition to my day. The lady who helped me was helpful and energetic. Actually, when she'd spilled where she was from while I was ordering, I was actually pleasantly surprised. She wasn't too far from where I live actually. Maybe like 2 or 3 towns over. Nevertheless, I have learned to grow an appreciation for people who keep that kind of demeanor in such a demanding environment. I can only imagine how hard it must be to work as a barista in a setting where people are traveling everywhere. How many people you have to deal with. Kudos to that lady! I give it a 4 because honestly, what I can make of the place is very limited so it can be hard to get in the know of things. There are Starbucks that if I were to give another visit would receive a 5, and the Starbucks Reserve at the Empire State Building actually did get a 5 from me, so it is possible. It just hasn't had a chance to happen yet.

As you would expect, pleasant baristas and a clean store. Right off the highway but difficult to…read moreaccess with traffic as you have to cross two busy lanes immediately after exiting highway.

The space is spacious and bright, with adorable swing basket seats, as well a few other comfy seats. Each table has a little plant on it. There is also a beautiful wall of inspirational words. They have a large menu of all kinds of teas and shakes, be it fruity, nutty or chocolatey, they can make it. The lady workin here, I really wish I got her name, was super patient and kind, something tells me she might be the owner. She explained how the protein shakes are high in protein and fiber, while tasting delicious. I typically don't do shakes, because they're filled with sugar and other mystery ingredients. However, on the day I was here, I hadn't had dinner yet, and I was intrigued by the flavors they offered. I decided to get the Peanut Butter Chocolate Banana Bread, now that's a mouthful of a name. My shake looked so good, and it tasted even better. It was mostly chocolate, but it wasn't heavy, it was kind of airy tasting, there were tiny chocolate chips that traveled through the straw smoothly for an extra touch of sweetness. I couldn't really taste the peanut butter, but I could see it. This was a very tasty and totally filling protein shake. I just wish they offered a few size options, as it was just a bit too much for me. At Everlasting Nutrition you can also find locally made products, such as honey and soap for purchase. I really enjoyed my protein shake, I can't wait to try more of their menu.
