Connected to Baskin Robbins is Dunkin Donuts. While I didn't particularly enjoyed the milkshake I got from Baskin Robbins, the donut holes I got from Dunkin Donuts were fresh and good. I inhaled and they were gone! I finished a bag while waiting for my milkshake....

This Dunkin' Donuts isn't *that* bad. I can see where some of those one stars come from, but that's what you will get at most other locations in the area let alone Dunkin' Donuts. It's an older style Dunkin', but it is a good size. It's nice to bring the family and groups and not feel rushed. The staff is ok and does their job well. I wish they were a little happier, but with the prices I pay for Dunkin' Coffee, I would only hold it against them if there were reason. Despite that, the drinks are good and come out fairly quickly. I have consistently been able to find a fair selection of donuts throughout the day. The biggest flaw for this location is the location (Town of Dumfries). If paying 10% Tax was not enough, I have had a couple of run-ins with beggars. Luckily, I can hold mine own (thanks sketchy oversea countries), but just know it is present. I can't really hold it against this location, as it is more of a municipality issue. All in all, I think this location is leaps and bounds better than the next northern location in the Kelly's Ridge Shopping Center and a tad better than a couple of the Woodbridge and Stafford locations.

Very large dunkin. Probably one of the biggest I've seen. The inside could use a deep cleaning. The booths have crumbs on them, and the floor too. Even though dunkin has "donuts" in their name, their donuts are pretty bad. The always taste stale. The service isn't bad. It's quick, which is what you'd expect from a fast food place. Nothing crazy good. It's your average quick stop coffee shop.

Worst watered down Ice tea ever. I asked for another one and they gave me an even more watered down tea. They said, this is what you get

Worst In Dumfries. Order took forever and they water down the tea so much it's horrible

Normally everything's fine. I get drinks that are drippy and messy pretty often which is annoying. Overall a decent store.

I bought a dozen to share and somehow made it home with three and a story that started with, "They must have shorted me." Amazing staff. Incredible doughnuts. This is one of Lorton's hidden gems. But let me give you one piece of advice: Get there EARLY. Nothing hurts more than walking in with your heart set on an apple fritter, only to watch the person in front of you buy the last one. Baby, that's the kind of disappointment you think about all day. Buy extras. Trust me. These doughnuts will have you saying things you don't mean and protecting your box like it's family heirlooms. The highlight were the croissant donuts. They were layers of buttery, flaky dough in a square format. I've tried the ones from Dominic Ansel when the cronut was at its peak and I prefer the Freddy version. I found the ones with the drizzle on them to be better. The size of the cronut is huge compared to the Dominique Ansel one. Freddy's is the size of your hand where the other is a quarter size smaller. The cronut at Freddy's is also cheaper going at $4.25 versus $7.75 at Dominique Ansel. They come in glaze drizzle, chocolate and vanilla drizzle, maple drizzle and French toast. Cronuts not available or don't feel like a big cronut...ask if they have the cronut bites. They come in a set of three and you can get either glaze drizzle or cinnamon sugar. The size of their classic and specialty donuts are huge. We are talking easily can be sharable (if you want to). Currently the pricing of their donuts are: $1.95 house/ $2.75 specialty/$2.75 cake/ $3.25 monster filled. They have quite the creative list of flavors. No gluten free options though. Their donuts are light and flavorful. It's not overly sweet at all and well balanced. By their size you get your bang for your buck. If you want to get your choosing of flavors, it's better to go at the start of the day. Later in the day you chance that they could be sold out on flavors - especially if they are busy that day. The donuts are packed in whimsical boxes that are colorful and say "You Deserve A Donut." They also have drinks for purchase but we didn't grab any- maybe next time. On the wall they also have cute donut themed shirts with popular cartoons and characters like Bluey, Pikachu and Deadpool. There is limited parking around the shop. Otherwise plenty of street parking. We took our donuts to go but you can also dine there in front of the store where they have picnic tables. The building looks like it might have been a service gas station in the past. It's decorated with a snake mural and they also have neat drawings inside on their chalkboard menu. We will definitely be back since we have friends that live in the next town over who are also huge fan. 100% recommend this sweet place.

An assortment of flavors, from red velvet and sourdough, to cream filled. It was this latter where Texas stands out: they can fill it with a variety of fillings using a machine on every stoners wish list: it injects the donut with flavors. I got two chocolate glazed filled with Bavarian, and whitw creme, and a long john of Bavarian. The cream fillings were great, no trouble there. The donuts were.. different. Donuts have that progression, from air filled Krispy Kreme, to dense cake donuts, and used hockey pucks left over from 1987 Duncan Donuts. I like the airy kind, not so much as Krispy because that's too thin, but something with heft, but air pockets. Texas rides the line between pockets of air and density, and what it tasted like is that they had been airy at one point, but those pockets collapsed on themselves creating a hybrid airy/dense donut. Tasty, but not top of my list. That spot still belongs to Duck Donuts. It's possible the Texas donuts I had were sitting out a bit, or the creme filling caused a collapse of the internal donut structure. I'm not sure but I will go back to try the denser varieties to be sure. Very nice employees, calm and clean interior. Parking is tough, on a hill in tight spots, or down around the hill and climb some stairs.

And they asked if I wanted to try any others. So I got: mango tajin, chocolate cake (not pictured) and chocolate glazed. The chocolate cake was dry and didn't have much flavor. The chocolate glazed was my favorite. The donut was cakey and reminded me of some sweet treat from my childhood that I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe some of the Entenmann's donuts? Anyway, it was really good for being a simple and plain donut. The manjo tajin wasn't bad. It's a plain vanilla cake donut with the mango and tajin in the icing.
