I waited 10 minutes at the drive thru aftering ordering and paying. Then the employee told me that she thought I drove away and did not work on my order. She was also very rude. I have worked at restaurants in the past and have empathy for workers, but this experience was the worst. If you hate serving customers, find a different job. read more

It pains me to give a DD this review. But this place is incredibly poorly run. They are often out of even the most common donuts (even the "express dozen" they should never be out of). The customer service (especially if you go inside) is ridiculously slow. Drinks are often made wrong, too. I've given this place many chances hoping it's just a bad day for them. It's not. This location has really gone down hill since new management has stepped in. A couple days ago I ordered a bacon egg and cheese wake up wrap to only receive a tortilla with melted cheese. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered a bagel with cream cheese the next day... and of course I was let down again. This bagel is so disappointing. This is by far my favorite Dunkin Donuts location. They make my drink consistently right, and the service has been great. When I go to other locations, my drinks never taste the same on any visit, and I have a simple order of an Iced Caramel Latte. Definitely visit the Dacula store! read more

This is the closest dunkin to my house. I'm so disappointed In EVERY experience I've had here. My coffee is the same thing I always order. And not once has it ever been consistent. Even when I started asking for them to remake things. It's almost like it came back even worse than before. I will no longer be retiring to this location. Just walked in to the store with no one in line ahead of me. Not a single employee recognized or created me. While I patiently waited, patrons started walking in and waited behind me. After 5 minutes, I walked out! Walked a couple of stores over to Chick-fil-A and got service immediately. When I walked back by Dunkin' Donuts, the people were still waiting in line to be served. This is the only Dunkin Doughnuts if been to that is always out of specialty items. In the drive through asking a question will fall on silence. I have to say sometimes I feel like I'm interrupting them. It's just not the same as the one on Buford Drive. That store is super friendly. Walked in about 15min before closing, not unusual for when I've previously visited this location. This time, I was rudely greeted with a "we're closing" when I noticed that the employees had already thrown out most of the donuts. I've worked retail, and I know employees want to get out of work on time, but when a paying customer walks in before closing expecting donuts and finding none, that's bad business. Highly disappointed. Lock the doors if you don't want to serve your customers, but if you're open until a certain time, be open. Super excited to have one in Dacula. We've been twice and both visits were pretty disappointing. First trip was before school on a Tuesday. While in line a disgruntled customer stormed back in the store demanding a refund because his order was all screwed up. The staff was so slow the people in front of us walked out and my kids ended up being late by the time we got through the line. Second trip was tonight around six in the evening and they were really low on stock. No vanilla cremes at all and the only excuse we received was... "sorry, we've been making too many." That's all you guys need to know right. Do yourself a huge favor and drive over to the one on Buford Highway. The manager there is amazing and will make you anything there out of on the spot... 24/7. read more

When this store opened I was excited about it being on my way to work and prefer it to over priced Starbucks. In the beginning it was good and service was top notched. Now it is poor at best and employee turn over looks to be the reason. It is a 50/50 shot you'll get what you order and coffee can be weak or too much cream and sugar to almost none. I try to be objective but this is it, I do not recommend this location. I have gone several times for a specific doughnut and they never have them but on the weekends according to the employees. I went yesterday of course they were out and told me to come back early in the morning and they were writing the request down I went at 8:30 am as per the employees and they did not make any! This place is badly in need of adult supervision and supply chain management. I've been a regular at Dunkin' for quite some time, and I was excited to see this location open fairly close to my house. When I went there after it opened, I was pretty happy with it. I was always greeted warmly and enthusiastically and my orders were mostly correct and made in a timely fashion. I figured with a bit more training, the crew there would get up to speed and eliminate the few rookie mistakes they made there from time to time. I'm sad to say, however, that the exact opposite has happened. Instead of getting better, things have only gotten consistently worse with time, and nobody that's ever there seems to notice or care much. What's worse is that there never even seems to be any noticeable authority figure anywhere to be found there. I wouldn't leave such a negative review without any details, so here are some specifics to support my review. I placed an "on the go" order there the other day, which is Dunkin's fairly new order-ahead system that lets you walk into the store or pull up to the Drive Thru to find your order already prepared and paid for through their app. I waked into the store about 15 minutes later and went to the Pickup area, where my order should have been waiting for me with my name and receipt attached, only to find that it was nowhere to be seen. As I waited there, another customer was given a coffee she had been waiting for, and the associate behind the counter completely ignored my polite attempts to get her attention and walked away toward the register. I followed her to the register and asked if she could help me with my on the go order and she gave me a confused look and had to get the only other employee in sight to come help find my order. He had no urgency whatsoever in helping me get my order (now 20 minutes after I placed it), but he eventually found it and left the confused and apathetic young lady to fumble around some more and tell me they didn't have the bacon for the sandwich I had ordered. By the time they finally arranged to make me a substitute, it took another 7 minutes to get my simple iced coffee and 5 more beyond that to get my sandwich, which tasted funny to top it all off. I turned to find myself a straw, looking where the hapless young lady had pointed after giving me the drink without one, and found only small straws that would barely reach the bottom of the large drink I had, let alone fit it properly. I again had to walk to the other side of the empty store to ask one of the two employees there for a large straw. They said they didn't have any, so I left and used one I already had in my car. They even actually told me they don't prepare orders in advance so they're fresh when customers arrive. That means they were either totally ignorant about their own "on the go" program (which includes the option to start the order now or to wait until later), or just lying about it. I would have given feedback through the telldunkin' survey, instead of giving it here, but I never even got a receipt after the whole debacle. The alarming part is that it was the third time in as many visits, fairly far apart at that, when I had been told they didn't have any large straws, which is ridiculous for a company that thrives off its beverages and is supposed to have straws that fit the large ones, especially in the summer, when they're advertising many different large-sized cold and frozen beverages. The next day, my sister waited 10 minutes for someone to help her and was told the employee who finally showed up didn't know how to process her order (she finally gave up and left). There are more examples I could give, but those are the most egregious and the most recent. It seems to be a trend of ignorance, apathy, and total absence on the part of any management figure. I won't be back, myself, unless I hear that some major changes happen to fix this shoddy operation that calls itself a Dunkin' but falls short of any Dunkin' I've visited over many years of patronage. read more
