Thwy are usually the highest around as it is but on this last Monday there price was $2.82 for regular so I filled up. But on Tuesday I went to get coffee like I do everyday and the gas prices for regular was $3.19 . I don't understand why they go up so fast when crude oil is at its lowest it's been for years and they still have the same gas the next day in there tanks that you paid $2.82 for the day before. I don't see other places go up so fast except Circle K which is right down the road from racetrack. Seems like they are price gouging a few days a week because usually by the weekend they'll lower it about 20 cents per gallon but by Tuesday they jack the price back up. Other than that the store is great!

I was in line to pay for fuel and snacks. there was a gentleman in front of me who went up the counter and started talking about the President was going to end up assassinated. He made some off handed comment about white people looked at me and headed out the door. The cashier he was speaking to said that the President needed to be squashed like a bug. She started to say something further but then stated she needed to keep her job. While I completely agree with folks having their first amendment and being able to speak freely. Using a place of business where they are employed as a platform to public is a very poor choice. I would imagine that corporate is more interested in profits than political rhetoric which in turn makes this location lose customers. If that is not the case then it means that either this behavior is allowed and or encouraged by the management at this store or that it is in fact condoned and encouraged by corporate. I myself as well as most people stopping in arent interested in hearing somebodies political views. We are there to make a purchase an move on. After this experience at this location I may start looking for an alternative place to take my business. AbsenT

I've always filled up gas here or QT whenever I'm on Lawrenceville-Suwanee and it always just seems to have the best gas on. The gas station does seem a little bootleg but don't just a gas station by its appearance because you only need very minimal things for gas. I think I've been in the gas station maybe a few times but I didn't really need much except gas. I will say... it is not open 24 hours like Racetrac so don't come here at 3AM expecting it to be open!

The deli is well maintained with roasted chickens always available and a wide deli selection. I've just recently moved to Winder where I'm having to adjust from my Kroger and I found I can get most everything I want here. This place is clean, the staff is friendly and plentiful and the isles are well marked define things although learning a new grocery store always takes time. There is a Starbucks here as well for those who like Starbucks and they have an advantage program and gasoline so I'm hoping to see if I can get the same deals on gasAs I did with Kroger. Again for an essentially non-believer in the beginning I'm very impressed with this Ingles and will be back.

The employee took down all of our information and we had a prop for the top that we agreed to bring in the following week closer to party. When we brought it in on the arranged date and time, there was no record of our order at all. The party was 3 days away. I am so glad that we didn't choose something detailed or custom! On the day of the party we picked up the cake, and the icing colors were wrong. Got a tiny discount. No time to fix it. I wanted to order bread during the holidays and I called the bakery. I asked for the bread which I have been ordering over 20 years now from Publix and was told "we don't do that." I called another Publix down the road and ordered it there instead. They knew exactly what I wanted. Decided to give them another chance recently and wanted to order hot food from the deli. Called several times and was put on hold for 5 minutes or more and then hung up on each time by employees who were very rude. I purposefully did not call during mealtimes, and I didn't even mind the wait, but it was clear from the way they spoke to me they did not want my business. When you walk in you can tell they put a lot into it and that is certainly something to be proud of. The store itself is old, I don't know if it's the building or the store itself as I'm not from the area, but they've added some style and modern flair to it. They also have just about anything you could check off your shopping list plus some. Expect to find beautiful cuts of meat, fresh vegetables, cakes and desserts, lots of prepared foods along with all the essential pantry staples. They also have a deli section with Boars Head products as well as a small bistro inside though we didn't get to try it. Here you will also find some goodies you won't typically see at your chain grocers such as crawfish, pig's feet, or frog legs. They offer a variety of local seasonings, spices and condiments like jams, jellies, sauces as well as varieties of nuts and such... things you might typically find at a road side farmer's stand. The prices, I felt, leaned on the higher side but again, they are competing with conglomerates of mega corporations so some of that is to be expected, I'm sure they do the best they can in that regard. That said, they also had some great deals going as well. Worth a stop in? Yeah, for sure. If I lived close by I might hop in to grab a few things regularly, especially if I'm looking for specialty items as mentioned above. I may update my review if I get back over that way and have a chance to try their little bistro too.
