It was pretty quiet when I got inside. There was only one person I saw watching the store. The selection was not too bad I would say and they had cute decorations on the wall. I ordered a 4 pack of mochidonuts, and also ordered 2 drinks, I looked up the menu prior to going there and they lady that was watching did not know those drinks and they don't even offer some of it. I was kind of disappointed at that since I was expecting so much more. The mochi donuts I got was also ok, I would say I've had better donuts. The drinks were too sweet. I barely even dranked mine.

The dosant which is a hybrid of donut and croissant was huge and surprisingly really good. A fluffy croissant with a glazed donut coating. I would definitely get it again if I was in the area. The other two donuts were also good, but nothing you wouldn't be able to find at your local donut shop. The service was quick and we were in and out within a few minutes. He thought I was joking. I was definitely not. I LOVE Linda's. The donuts are fresh and divine, but the people are the reason I keep going back. So imma tell you a story about why I will defend their honor til the day I die. One time I ordered a donut and a coffee and sat down to eat. A few minutes later, one of the employees walked over holding another donut. I said, "Oh, thank you, but I'm good." He just smiled and said, "It's fresh, it just came out." I took it. It was out of this world amazing. I've made donuts at home before, and fresh donuts really _are_ different. Warm, soft, and just about the best donut I've ever had. Here's another story: some other time, I wasn't thinking. I bought a dozen donuts for my coworkers and was gonna bring it to work, but I was on my bike that day and realized there was absolutely no way the box was fitting into my panniers. I went back in and asked if they happened to have a bag big enough to hold the box. They disappeared into the back and came out with their reusable Linda's Donuts bags. I suspected there weren't so many of them. I asked if I could pay for it. They wouldn't let me. I still have that bag and use it all the time, and every time someone asks me about the bag, I tell them this story. That, my friends, is how I became a Linda's Donuts evangelist. Re: ambiance, it's super low key. There are only four or five tables, and I've definitely sat there with friends over coffee and donuts. It's not trying to be trendy. It's just a neighborhood donut shop, and that's exactly why I like it. I've seen people complain that Linda's runs out of donuts. FOLKS, they're a neighborhood mom-and-pop shop. They make a finite number of fresh donuts every day. Personally, I'd rather they sell out than have donuts sitting around all afternoon. If you want the best selection, get there earlier. Maybe Kane's or Union Square Donuts are objectively better and have more variety, and fancier flavors like maple-glazed bacon doughnuts. I admit, those donuts are damn good too, but when I think of getting donuts, I always make the trip to Linda's for all the warm-fuzzies and to see all the smiling, kind people behind the counter.

The way I normally do and the coffee taste burnt, and the egg on my egg sandwich was gray, and the whole sandwich was rubbery as if she just put it in the microwave instead of toasting the English muffin. Disgusting pictures were taken less than five minutes after I got the sandwich so I'm not sure why the cheese was hardened and jam was dried up and wrinkly as if I got a sandwich that had been premade, which is disgusting and not a normal experience with this gourmet. I'm super disappointed and if I wasn't on my way back to work I would have asked for a refund.

A hardened glaze would be nicer. (I love Basic Batch's blueberry old fashioned in Milford). I also got a peach jam brioche doughnut at noon and the texture didn't feel right to me - it felt like a day old donut. Didn't love it and didn't eat much of it.

This tiny small store in Newton Centre serves up several variations of what is now my favorite…read moredessert - mochi donuts. As I was never a big fan of (overly) sweet delights, I've never bothered to try them despite hearing about it until recently at an event. I was truly surprised as I didn't just take a bite BUT finished the whole thing in less than a minute (once again, a pretty big feat for someone who doesn't prefer sweet treats). It wasn't overly sweet like normal donuts and the texture is far more delightful and chewy as much as it was moist. The flavors were potent and quite addicting. By far, a fabulous apple picking experience and an amazing orchard with much to do besides apple…read morepicking! There's a general store that has all sorts of delicious apple based and other products. There's a petting zoo. And perhaps best of all there's a kiosk at which you can buy delicious apple cider donuts that are homemade on the premises. They cannot be beat. There are also plenty of other types of fruit that you can pick at this orchard besides apples. For example, one can pick peaches, blueberries, and pears. We have been coming here for several years and haven't gotten around to partaking in this activity of picking other fruits than apples. There is also a big tent we can get homemade hard cider and listen to music from live musicians. There are hay rides and there's also a giant maze which your kids might love. Perhaps you will love it too. We highly recommend Honey Pot Orchards for a fun family day!
