I rarely go to a Dunkin's because the customer service isnt the best. It's usually someone that's kind of grouchy and ready to check you outs But this one I like! The staff were friendly and provided great recommendations on people's favorite drinks. The young guy asked me if I was a rewards member and if almost forgot to scan it until he reminded me. Appreciated that! We got a half dozen for $11.69 and a cookie butter drink. Those are good! I like how they have a spacious seating area for you to hang out in case you are on a coffee date with a girlfriend or your man. I love it! Parking is easy! And it's close to a lot of other eateries. I was a regular customer to this Dunkin, and submitted a general feedback form as I notice this location experiencing long lines and wait times, with only one employee at most times, despite the now hiring sign outside. Not even a hour after I submitted my form, i received a phone call that was only harassment. Filled with insults towards me, I am absolutely bewildered that such a response was given. I have 2 small children so I loved the curbside option. I put an order in and after 20 minutes I had not received my order. I tried calling 3 times and no answer. I ended up going inside and the lady said it's not ready. I ordered a coffee, hash browns, and 10 munchkins. My coffee was ready but cold foam was melted. She told me that I took too long.... Maria keeps touching the donuts with her fingers when she's picking them up. She uses the sheet, but if she's picking up a donut with frosting she makes sure the sheet covers it fully. However, if she's picking up multiple donuts without frosting her fingers go outside of the sheet and are directly on the donuts. I've watched her do this for two weeks and then check people out at the cash register right after. I love coming here and the people that work here, but I don't know where her hands have been and would appreciate if she would not touch them with her fingers. It's not sanitary. read more

Great visit! Stopped in prior to getting in beltway to escape a long day of shopping nearby and satisfaction guaranteed. My friend and I ventured to establishment and was immediately assisted by a nice lady. I ordered a Beyond Sausage Sandwich minus the egg and cheese as well as a side of Bacon and a medium hot tea. For the record, this location is extremely convenient for Clarksburg residents. If I was basing this review solely on convenience, it would be 5 stars however this isn't the case. The specialty coffees and food are consistently not consistent. My drinks always taste different and the breakfast sandwiches/bagels are not as good as other locations. I do believe this location has potential but it always seems like the employees aren't happy to be there. A note to management: be excited about your day. Happiness starts at the top. I told the cashier that this was wrong and I said "where's the iced tea?" She came back with regular tea with no ice. Since I knew there was an English barrier. This location was really busy but I was so turned off by the cleanliness of the seating area and the bathroom. I normally can get by with an unclean bathroom but when I went to order my TV I saw how the main seating area hadn't seem to be cleaned in a while. There was food open sitting on the tables and things all over the floor. Even though the employees from really nice and scrambling to take orders don't think I'll come back here. If you need coffee in Clarksburg, this is basically where you can get it. The other options are Starbucks inside Harris Teeter - but I never see that as a true Starbucks because of the limited spacing and options. There is a 7-Eleven at the Shell Gas Station, but.... is that coffee? Anyways, this is practically the only option. In the mornings, this place has several staff members so you can easily get your drink orders and food and head out. They are definitely built for speed. They finish things as quick as they can and it may be out of order. For example, if I order 2 drinks, one might come out quickly while we wait for the other, and in between someone else's order comes out. You just have to be attentive on what comes out so you dont grab someone else's drink. When it gets closer to the afternoons, there are less people working so it can be hard to order something when there is only 1 person working. I think this place could benefit from an extra person working in the afternoons. I have seen this several times where one person is ordering and making an order with food and there are 2 people waiting to order. It can be mind numbing for a wait. Another downside to this location isnt really on them, but on the schoolchildren in the afternoons. Around 2PM to 4PM and school is out, there are groups of children/teenagers who just burst in - not order anything - and talk loudly. It is quite disruptive when I am just sitting there reading and enjoying my tea. The thing is, this has happened nearly everyday that I have been there around the time. Not the same people too. So to me, it isn't Dunkin Donuts fault, but the fact that there are rude kids nearby that may ruin the experience. Also, they tend to leave trash around and the desks/chairs in disarray. For example, one time a teenager just made excuses on paying. He was shouting, "I forgot my wallet. I will go get it." After like 10 seconds when prompted on paying again, he goes "I forgot my wallet at Harris Teeter. Harris Teeter. I left it there." His friend even starts laughing and goes "you stupid". He dashes out the door and walks across the street to the apartment area - not even close to the direction of Harris Teeter. I feel bad for the staff on this part. I think they are tired of dealing with these kids all the time. I mean, I am already tired of seeing them when I am there. A plus side to this location is that they are very amenable for fixing a drink. Sometimes it comes out too sweet, we had them redo it. Actually, they redid it, we just wanted something bitter to even it out. Sometimes they forget a lemon, they gave me a new one. Sometimes, they didnt put enough caramel, they added it quickly. I will never go here again. We went in and ordered a sesame seed bagel, lightly toasted with butter, as well as the three cheese bites. The bagel came out as a plain bagel, not sesame and was dark. My friend went back in and told them of their error. I guess the young Hispanic girl who helped him did not know he is fluid in 6 languages, Spanish being one of them. He came outside quite upset and I asked him what was wrong. He said that she made a derogatory statement in Spanish, under her breath as she walked away. When he got his remake and came outside, they just put it in the toaster for probably 30 seconds and threw it in the bag with no butter on it. The three cheese bites looked to be about 10 years old. I know this location (it's Clarksburg, not Germantown) gets a lot of flak, but I am happy they're in the area and I always get very friendly service. We go most days and they know what we want before I even get to the register. I agree that some of the staff is slower then others, but they do a good job getting your order correct and they'll fix it if it isn't. A smile goes a long way and we'll continue to frequent this location. I do understand some people's comments. As a huge DD fan, I've been to the super efficient locations and this isn't that, but they are nice. read more

Honestly if I could give this location a zero star rating I absolutely would. My mom and I came into this store location to order coffee and something to eat. The cashier was super nice and the person who made my food was super nice. But when waiting for the coffee part of my order. I know it wasn't just me being confused about things(other customers were confused on which was their orders too).. meaning Dunkin usually shouts out order numbers as opposed to saying "coffee with cream and sugar, cause honestly that could be 5 other peoples order... this chick needed to be calling out order numbers as opposed to what the drink was, I don't even work there and I know how the store should operate. And the chick had an attitude problem when we called her out politely by saying "we didn't hear our order number for the coffee and that all we heard was "medium coffee with cream". She then fired back rudely to us "ugh I've been calling medium coffee with cream for five minutes". Does she like not understand that she needs to be calling order numbers as opposed to what the drink is"??? I'm in disgust of what happened to my daughter and her friend when i sent them to go to that place with 10 dollars she earned with allowance. The white lady with the Italian accent had charged them more money then what 2 normal small lemonades were. She charged them the price of 2 small pink lemonades which was 2 dollars more making the total 6. They didn't want to speak up but the lady just gave them the normal lemonade order and they left making the total 6 instead of 4. Soon after they went back in and politely asked if she made an error or not, and she yelled at them saying "NO! WHAT! I've been to this Dunkin' Donuts five times. I'd really like for it to be a great experience. I keep hoping, as it's the closest one to my house. Several of the times I've met friends for coffee (they are hoping, too!) But I've been disappointed every time. I do not plan to return any time soon. There was the "I'll speak only to the man in your party" experience. That was...different. There was the "I'll stand and ignore you after asking for your order" experience. That was accompanied by a complete mix-up of the donuts ordered (one french cruller, one Boston cream, two chocolate frosted -- not complicated). This took two trips back to the counter. This visit was also the first time I ordered coffee here. Ha. Too difficult. The manager observed all of this and was not the least bit concerned or helpful to the clerk. More than once, the visit has been punctuated by "stale donuts and oddly flavored coffee" While you'd think the donuts/coffee would be fairly standard, you'd be wrong. When every single person in your party says the same, "this tastes odd" thing, you know something is wrong. The service is spotty at best. Sometimes it's glacially slow, as it was on my most recent visit. I was the only dine-in customer; there were two gentlemen waiting for their coffee ahead of me. Nothing fancy, just large brewed coffee, but it took 10 minutes. I timed it. The store has been clean twice out of the five visits. Save your time and money, go to the Dunkin in Damascus, Hyattstown, or Germantown near the Town Center & it will be a much more pleasant experience. read more

I have been to this location a few times right when they open. The store is open at 5am on weekdays and my order is usually an iced tea, egg white flat, and hash browns. The hash browns come out crispy, seasoned, and not soggy. Any size iced teas are $2 which is a good deal considering the cup size. I am unsure if it is a permanent or promotional offer. There is ample seating inside and it is clean. The store associates are friendly and our orders do not take long, but that could be due to the time of day. read more

Awesome location. Very clean, lots of natural light, very friendly and professional staff. I'd never been to a Dunkin' Donuts before and this was an awesome intro. I ordered the breakfast sandwich after a very helpful recommendation from my cashier and it was delicious! Unfortunately the sandwich came with bacon after I had ordered it with sausage but my new friend didn't even hesitate, just checked the monitor to make sure he's input my order correctly (he had) and said, without skipping a beat, "I'm sorry, we'll make you a new one." I asked if I could come back in a few hours, when I'm hungry again, and even though he won't be here when I return, he set it up with his coworker, who in her own right was extremely apologetic about misreading the monitor. Lovely people, lovely store, I think I'll be a regular (especially since, when I asked the cashier when he got off, he said in about an hour, which means he was at the very end of an undoubtedly king and busy shift). Stopped by this location with my friend for some coffee. We waited in line about 15 minutes before even reaching the counter with additional 3 people ahead of us. Once at the counter/ register, it literally took another 10 minutes to place the order because the poor white lady/employee was working by herself running around making the drinks, the food, running the register etc.... she was the only person there with no one to help her. I know she was doing the best she could, but because she was so overwhelmed, my coffee had no whipped cream and we ended up spending 35 minutes in there for 2 coffees and a donut. Btw, my donut did not taste fresh. It wasn't stale but definitely not fresh. I was there around 1145-1220pm. Terrible. I will go somewhere else. Let me start off say that I am from the land of Dunkin' Donuts...AKA Massachusetts. From my old 14 mile commute, I used to pass 8 DD's. I grew up calling the glazed donuts, Honeydip as they used to be known. The Clarksburg location is a poor representative of the brand. Service is VERY slow, even when you're the old person in there. The place is just plain dirty. I don't know how many times I would go in right at 6AM and the dining area was never cleaned from the day before. It makes me wonder what it looks like behind the line and in their back of house area. I've personally stopped going because of the lack of cleanliness and wonder if then even have a daily cleaning schedule. They need new management, or a visit from the Health Department before I would start going back. It's a shame because it is my only DD on my way to work. read more

I have been to this location several times. Each time I say I'll never be back. The customer service is horrible. The mother has the worst attitude. The children that work there are friendly. The young guy who is there in the evenings is friendly as well. The mother never smiles or greets the customer. It is ALWAYS dirty. The floor is not swept. The bathroom is not clean. They have trash on the outside near the door. One employee had been cleaning as we walked in and stopped to help customers but never washed his hands! There is really no other option for breakfast and coffee so I feel most customers go there for convenience. They need to work on their customer service and keep it cleaner. The service is great when certain people are working. They always know my order. However the one shorter lady with glasses is very rude and does not listen. I asked for light mocha sauce and she poured so much the frozen coffee was horrible i asked if she wouldnt mind remaking it she got mad and rolled her eyes, when she remade it she put barely any sauce or sweetner. We come in here all the time and the staff is fantastic. We've had maybe one problem with an order when someone was new, but they're on top of things right away. Whether we order through the phone app or in person, the food is made well. While they get a little busy at times, and their English might be a little broken, the staff works hard and does everything they can to satisfy their customers. They even remember people and pay extra attention to say hello to the regulars while treating new customers with respect. I'll keep going back. read more

I love DD, I really do. I grew up on DD but I feel the need to call out this location even tho it is in my neighborhood and close enough I can walk there. I find the cleanliness to be appalling. The cashiers keep gloves on, handle money and CC and don't change them when they go to handle food. Rarely do I ever see anyone wash their hands.
