I decided to visit Dunkin' Donuts today to get a cool drink for me, and sweet treats for my daughters. There was a line once we returned from the restroom, and one customer had a puppy. Clearly it was not a service animal. She cashier asked to pet the puppy prior to taking the customers order. I was livid! How disgusting is this?! You are serving food and drinks, and you want to pet animals?!!! I walked out with my young daughters extremely disappointed in what we just witnessed. We have no plans of returning to this establishment EVER! We have lost confidence in knowing that the employees understand the standard measures of being sanitary. Dunkin' that's it! You only go here if you bank here, too lazy to drive any further, you own stock, or to see what the hype is about. First you're paying for the name just like SB, CB&TL. The donuts are dense... similar to once's around here. Coffee is great, iced drinks are great. But their filled donuts are the worse (hopefully because it's their opening week). There are places where donuts are cheaper and have more filling. One particular is the chocolate filled (see picture) the Bavarian and lemon could have more filling too... I'll come back in a month and see if it changed. For now I'll stick with the "pink box" donuts and Rolling Pin ‍. Sometimes you expect more from Franchises. Sometimes you don't. The employees are super kind, the donuts are really good (I had the jelly munchkins), but the coffee was horrible. Me and my sister both got the iced coffee with caramel and normal milk and it was so sour. It tastes really off. The prices are great however but I can't drink this. Always loved Dunkin and I come all the way from Santa Bárbara since our Dunkin closed about 1 year ago. Staff is always lazy and have a nasty attitude. I always come in around 1 hour before closing due to traffic and always have the same excuse that they stop making drinks at a certain hour? Dunkin seems to be an open space shared with a bank so the parking lot was a bit full. A few people in line and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a dozen variety and 25 munchkin variety. I was glad to see several choices available for halloween donuts. Very good experience and good tasting donuts. Imagine this: 16 people waiting in line and only ONE person taking their order. Then there were eight people waiting to pay at the cashier with only ONE person at the register! Created an account just to let people know NOT TO GO TO THIS LOCATION. I have been a loyal dunkin costumer since I was a child. I came in twice towards the end of last week.. I had no clue there was even a location in Camarillo. The customer service was BELOW subpar. There was one young man that was very helpful and kind so I do not want him to get into trouble.. It was the second time going in that concerned me. I went later in the day, the store was dirty and unorganized and the employees were very rude and inattentive. One of the girls with shorter brown hair was incredibly rude and sat on her phone for a while before even deciding to help me. It even looked like she was the only one working at the time. Shame on you and your management dunkin! Will not be coming back and will let everyone I know in Camarillo to stick to Starbucks. read more

So, this definitely would have been a five star review had I not gone back a second time. General info: As you've heard/seen, they do share a very small parking lot with a bank, but street parking is available if you don't mind it. There's a large seating area inside, but it's a little awkward cause it's definitely styled for the bank area and not Dunkin. It just felt a little weird with the curious bank employees observing the donut chaos. ANYWAY. My first time here was great (I think 10/03). Went around 9 am. There was a long line, but the wait was short. The girl at the counter was super nice and got our order correct (my bf's coffee order is a little complicated). She was training the girl getting the donuts for us and was able to multitask beautifully. Now my second time on 10/11 is a different story. So the girl at the register had a donut line and a drink line. If you were getting both (me) you had to wait in the donut line. Never at any other Dunkin I've been to has this been a thing no matter how long the line. I ordered two donuts (one chocolate glazed, one plain) and asked if I could move on to order my drink and the girl at the register said no, because she needed to wait for the two women + their kids to finish picking out their donuts and then ring them up...which didn't make any sense. WHY is there two lines for one register then? If I had just ordered a drink would I have been able to cut? Then the employee getting the two donuts for me got the order wrong, I let her know this and she responded by ARGUING with me. She said I didn't order a plain donut, I ordered one with sprinkles. HOW does that sound the same?? So I said "No I didn't, I ordered a plain donut" she responded by making a face at me and rolling her eyes. Idk if this is her first job, but it's not considered professional to argue with a customer. Oh and then she still got the order wrong which I didn't see until I was back at work. Was a little thrown off when I walked in because I wasn't aware that they were sharing the space with the credit union. However, service was great and I got to try their blueberry latte which I had never had before. This place is worth checking out! I ordered curbside on the app. Drove to the store waited for 15 minutes then decided go inside & check on my order (I'd seen many people walk in & out while I was still waiting). Waited in line (2 people ahead of me) because there was only 1 person working up front so it was difficult to catch someone without waiting in line. When I tell them I was there checking on my order, they looked kind of lost find my little receipt & say "it's gonna be awhile we have to put this together". By this point it had been over 20 minutes & I had to leave for a meeting (that was why I ordered curbside and gave myself 30 extra minutes so I wouldn't be late). I asked if I could get a refund because I didn't have "awhile to wait". It would be different if they were just going to make my coffee and grab the donuts" but after waiting 20 minutes I don't know how long "while" is. Waited a few more minutes for my refund. I was pretty disappointed to leave after being there over 25 minutes total without coffee, donuts or even and I am sorry. I wouldn't have been as bothered by the whole thing if they would've at least been sympathetic to the situation or offered an apology for the wait. Leaving empty handed, without an apology & with them acting as if I was the rude one for not wanting to wait & asking for a refund was disappointing to say the least. 4 star for bad parking. There was a lot of people in line. From door to order was 16 min. Donuts were great. Price was good. 1 doz donuts a milk and small coffee 18.00. The staff was great! Well trained. Manager hands on, great presence. Haven't been to one in yrs. Disappointed in anything filled. Just like so many businesses these days. Cutting corners to save a buck. my wife's chocolate cream filled actually had no filling in it at all. Just a drop of choc to tell what it should be. Other then that Rolling Pin watch out. This place is slow and the doughnuts are alright much rather get rolling pin. They're really really disorganized. They had a promotion and they told me it started at 5 in the morning and it was a lie I literally woke up to get in line but when I got there they told me it was at 8. They called the owner and the other told us we could write our name and phone number down and they would call us to pick up whatever the promotion was. I went back later that day to ask about the promotion that they said they would give us but apparently they said they hadn't saved anything and they just let it go like that. I think that was injustice and more because they lied and said that we would be able to get at least something. Very small place. Even though they are over staffed the lounging area was filthy. Too many employees behind the counter yet no one bother to clean the eating area. As I'm standing in line I am watching 5-6 people making drinks and asking customers in line what they like to drink. When it came to my turn nobody even bothered asking me. The girl over the donut counter helped me immediately but the drink counter seem overwhelmed. Once I got to the cashier (manager) she took my drink order and cash me out. As I'm standing by the counter waiting for my drink they are calling out numbers before me and handing them their drink. Then they called out numbers after me and yet no drink for us. The manager see's us standing by counter and instead of her asking us what we needed (2 feet away) she ask an employee to ask us. Hello manager you took our order how can you forget!!!! Anyways the employee told us that our drink was being made at the moment then she literally went to make our drink. We ordered the Cinnamon Sugar Pumpkin iced coffee, bakers choice, and double chocolate donut. No where in my drink did I taste pumpkin (not worth it) it tasted like a basic ice coffee drink. Rather get an ice coffee at McDonald's. As for the donuts better off going to Rolling Pin. Also, I witnessed one employee pull out a garbage can from underneath a counter and push down on it and dump some coffee grounds in it then immediately started making a drink without washing her hands.
