Both were delicious treats. The service was excellent and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of free parking in the lot and the interior is very homey. I follow them on Instagram and found out that Alex the manager had Dahlia tubers he was willing to share. I enjoyed talking with him about how he learned to grow them from his father. He was so generous and kind with advice. A good soul for the St Charles Community. They also have a location in Roselle I found out. Support this local coffee shop if you are in the area. That said, if you're meeting a friend to get some work done, one of you might end up with your laptop on your lap, as most tables won't accommodate more than in addition to the beverage/pastry of your choosing. I've only gotten the cardamom latte and it is exactly what an infrequent coffee drinker wants and needs. Not totally bitter, but not totally a sugar bomb. Just rich with flavor. Come in on a chilly day as the sun breaks through the clouds, and let the woody interior warm your mood as your drink warms your interior.

The 2 baristas working were very friendly, greeted me right away and made the drinks quickly. I got the biscoff iced latte, which is something I've had many times at other places. I really like that theirs isn't overly sweet, it doesn't have a ton of whip or cookie crumbles or syrup coating the sides which is what I prefer. The ube latte is sweeter but also not overly sweet like other places do. We ordered 16 oz but were given 20 oz cups, the barista said they were out of smaller cups. I think because of this they actually added more milk too, because the coffee taste was very light. I wish there was less milk or more espresso. Prices were high, $17 for 2 drinks is steep for the burbs. I'd come back, but I'd probably get an extra shot or ask for less milk.
