This is probably my favorite Dunkin' Donuts in the area they always get my order right and they are very polite. I would have given them 5 stars if their light bar worked that shows what you are paying. In fact I have bought other people's stuff based on the price showing on the light bar to pay it forward. I cannot due that now nor do I know what stuff costs till I get my receipt. I have mentioned this numerous times but to no avail. This facility rarely has fresh products. Yesterday I noticed the vanilla long Johns' frosting is transparent (so cheaper for THEM and yet the pastry part was stale for same price. I used to run on Dunkin. I prided myself on saving $ by opting for latte lites in lieu of skinny lattes. Not that I was saving that much by going to Dunkin, but it was enough to substantiate when debating the issue. My relationship with this Dunkin has recently gone down a path that I'm not willing to follow. There used to be employees at this particular establishment who knew the menu. They might not have had strong enough command of the English language to convince you to drink their lattes over some other company's, but they did know the menu well enough to complete your transaction. This has changed for the worse. My order is consistently wrong here, especially if the order is specific or lengthy (meaning more than 1 basic item, i.e., "small coffee" or "donut please"). Also, it seems to be common practice here for the cashier to grab my drink, cover the straw hole with a finger on the hand with which she just grabbed my money, and turn the drink upside down as to mix the flavors (?) before she gives it to me. I feel your sentiment, really, I do, but no thanks. If I wanted the swine, I'd lick a doorknob at a daycare. I think the issues are due to a lack of management and training or something. When owners buy these franchises, I think there is a minimum requirement of opening a certain amount of stores ( maybe 3-5). So I think one owner may own all these " shit houses" in Bartlett. Hanover, and Hoffman Estates. It depends upon who is working. In the early mornings, especially weekends, I think that's when they have their better staff because you have to be on the ball, its crowded. Today coffee was ok. The two stars is for my donuts. They were cold and wet like they just thawed from the freezer. if I wanted that, I could have gone to Target and bought my donuts. The only good Dunkin I have ever been to is in Wisconsin Dells. Unreal this place. I was going to give them two stars, but for all the trauma I've experienced in the last two years, I changed it to 1. I keep telling myself I need to yelp this place. In this country, or at least in the world of Starbucks and coffee houses, mocha lattes have sugar in the mix. When we order one, we expect them to be sweetened. I guess at Dunkin, you can order without sugar. That is great. It is separate from the mix. for years at other Dunkins I got sugar in my mochas without asking. At this one, sometimes they put it in and sometimes they don't. They sometimes ask if you want sugar and I say to make them like they should be made with sugar. How much sugar they have asked. I don't effing know. Then for awhile, they get it right and then today, they asked me if I wanted sugar, when I asked for a turbo shot they tell me it comes with one and I say an EXTRA turbo shot and then I don't GET the turbo shot. It takes like milk with coffee (not expresso) and very little chocolate. I will go back because SB is too far away and I need coffee asap. So frustrating. This location on RTE 59 next to McDonalds is about 3 mins from my home making it an obvious choice, well no more. The product quality is extremely poor and the service is non existent! Just yesterday I decided to go in and buy 2 dozen for the ladies at my sons daycare for teacher appreciation week and waited inside, at the register, with 4 ladies working for over 5 minutes without a greeting, their was an older lady standing at the register the entire time, no greeting, no good morning. I've never felt so compelled to write a terrible review but this time I couldn't help but follow my instincts! Just because this is a 24 hour Dunkn, do not bother going for your late night coffee for late papers like me. This is my horror story with this location!! Please avoid!! I've never been to Dunkin' Donuts before and I work at Starbucks. I'm used to the way Starbucks drinks are made so I counted this as a first-time experience. I pulled up and asked for a Mocha Iced Coffee with cream. I asked how many pumps of Mocha go into a medium (So that I can put less pumps since Dunkin is known to be more on the sweeter side) and the man on drive-thru said "Okay" I asked how many pumps again and he said hastily "You want mocha?" I replied "yes" and he said "Well pull up" and I said "But how many pumps go in it? Because I would like less please" and he replied "Less. Pull up" I pulled up and saw half of my drink being half mocha pumps. A half chocolate drink!! ASTONISHED I had to wait for him to open the window to get his attention. (after working at Starbucks, I know what it's like to deal with difficult customers and tried to be as less difficult as possible). I asked how many pumps he put into it and he replied "8". I sincerely apologized and repeated I wanted *LESS* not *EIGHT. He rolled his eyes and stared at me for a good minute shaking the drink into my face. He repeatedly demanded I had to pay for it. I had to stand my ground and repeat I wasn't going to pay for a drink I didn't order. He slammed the drink on the side of the counter, sighed obviously loud enough for me to hear, and began remaking my drink. I asked again with how many pumps as he made it. He said 4. I asked for three politely. As I was on my phone, I looked up and it was significantly lighter. Like it was milk. He sternly said "I put 1.5 for you." Again, frustrated and disappointed, I did not feel bad clarifying I said 3. He said "So you want me to change it again?!" I was like "Honestly please. You can put one more pump in there then." He angrily put another pump of mocha and emptied out some of my drink so that I didn't even get a FULL CUP OF ICED COFFEE I PAID FOR! As he took my card, he was rolling his eyes and saying how I should know what I want to order at drive thru. Regardless if I was a regular or a newbie, this was very VERY unprofessional. I clarified this is my first time and he just clapped his tongue and said "SO" This was in the middle of the night with no customers. The short review: Dunkin' Donuts are everywhere. Avoid this one like the plague. The long review: We placed our order for 2 wake up wraps. One with meat and one without. While waiting, one of the employees decided she needed to mop right where we were standing. She kept sweeping the mop back and forth at our feet and we were forced to move multiple times. My wife finally had enough and returned to the car and I was forced into the corner by the mopping that HAD to be done right at that moment and she then ran the disgusting mop over my shoe. They both had meat and my vegetarian wife said we're returning the food and never coming back. Trying to return food and explaining my issues with their store was falling on deaf ears because there is very little English spoken and understood here. When I told an employee that my shoe was covered in filth from their mop I was told "but she has gloves on". In broken English, they offered to remake our food 2 or 3 times but that's not what I was asking for. Sensing my anger, they said they'd give me my money back but acted like they did not know how.
