Don't really know what all the fuss is about... This place is OK at best... Donuts are decent (I prefer Krispy Kreme) and I have NO IDEA why everyone raves about their Coffee... It's sub-par AT BEST... All and all I won't go out of my way to this location... If I am in the shopping center and want a donut I might walk in and get one... Came in for a coffee and donut. It was their first day open so very busy. The wait was as long as I expected because of the line out the door. But the coffee was amazing and my donut was fresh. Well worth the wait. The manager insisted on a reimbursement because of the wait. I declined but he gave me a few gift certificates instead. Service was a lot better than I expected. I don't write yelp reviews very often, but I felt compelled to. I came at 2:00 and wanted to get a half dozen donuts. They were out of glazed, anything with sprinkles, any cream filled, she actually gave me a short list of what they did have because they were out of pretty much everything. I ordered a sandwich and was told they ran out of plain bagels for the sandwich. I literally asked "is this Dunkin' Donuts". Apparently they don't restock until 10:00PM. The speaker where I ordered was also unbelievably quiet. I would give zero stars if I could. Whoever is managing this place should be fired. I don't think I've ever been anywhere that literally has a specific food in the name, and had almost none of that food. That would be like going to a pizza place and being told all they have is bread sticks. You don't hear of that ever happening and maybe it's because they keep their pizza stocked. Awful experience. We tried Dunkin Donuts for the first time at the Tehachapi location and it was pretty good. We were excited that there was a new location nearby. The excitement is over. The service was decent especially for having what appears to be all new young employees. The coffee was good. The donuts were ok, fresh but nothing to go out of your way for. The real disappointment was the bacon breakfast croissant that we received with no bacon. They replaced it slapped together with cold cheese on top! The manager gave us our money back for the sandwiches but I still wasn't impressed with anything about this place. I have a love for doughnuts like no other so I was excited to see what the hype was for this place. I went through the drive thru and told the guy through the speaker what I wanted. I asked him which of the doughnuts were the freshest and he gave me a list of the ones that had just been finished. I figured it'd be a big list because it was still morning time. I only asked for a strawberry doughnut and a chocolate doughnut. I pulled up to the window and the guy asked me what I wanted again.. I told him and he said he would go grab them. I'm not sure where he went because then another person asked me what I wanted again and I eventually told that person and I saw her grab my doughnuts with her hands.. I kind of cringed for a second, but I didn't say anything (which I should have). Anyway, I pay and go on my way after she handed them to me. I eventually try the doughnuts and wow. Those doughnuts tasted like the were made a few days ago. They were both so stale and way too sweet. I have a major sweet tooth and man, way too tough to eat. I doubt I would ever come back. I'm so annoyed! I drove through and ordered a dozen assorted donuts. I requested that they include a couple with sprinkles for the kids, and a maple frosted donut. Instead I got several plain cake donuts, one plain cruller, one jelly donut and one frosted donut. I left a tip since I asked for something special, and talked about how difficult it was to reach the tip jar. Now I have a box of donuts that no one really wants. It was a ok experience the donut was not fresh my Carmel macchiato was way to strong I told them to put Carmel in it did not do that.

So I was a little hesitant to come out here because I had read the reviews and they all made this place seem awful. When I walked in the environment was nice, the person behind the counter said hello and said she would be with us in a moment. After a couple seconds a younger man came and asked if we had been helped. He asked if we had any questions and when I asked he was really nice and answered them perfectly! He was super friendly and when we went back in to get some donuts to go he acknowledged us and was still just as nice as before! I also like that they use gloves to grab the donuts! I got a hazelnut iced coffee, it was really good. I just would want a little more ice but hey to each their own. The donuts looked and tasted great. I was having trouble deciding and the he was like if you don't like it you can always get something else free of charge. Which is very nice of him to say up front! No flies or anything! My first experience with Dunkin was in Las Vegas. My husband and I stumbled down to the lobby of our hotel after a long night of Vegas shenanigans in desperate need of coffee and food. The line was so long, but we figured it HAD to be great if people would wait that long. I'd always heard Dunkin Donuts coffee was THE BEST. So we stood in line and waited. We got black coffees and we both got sausage egg and cheese croissant sandwiches with hash browns. Nothing cures a hangover like greasy food!! When the food was FINALLY ready, I excitedly snatched up a hash brown which was so oily that it was practically dripping down my arm. Blech. I couldn't eat them. How do you mess up frozen potato product? Not sure but they did. The sandwich was equally gross, and we ended up throwing away all of the food. The coffee was meh. Fast forward to now. The sign went up that we were getting a Dunkin and everyone was so excited. I rolled my eyes because of our last experience. But they did have a drive through and so on one early morning, I sent my mom through it to bring donuts giving the new location their own opportunity to wow us. My mom ordered a dozen assorted donuts and got herself a coffee. She got to my house and we whipped open the box... DONUTS!! Except... yuck. I don't treat myself to donuts often but when I do, I prefer something that's not stale and generic. They tasted old and bland. One bite and that was enough for me. Oatmeal it is! My mom was so glad I had fresh coffee brewing because again, the coffee was terrible. More like brownish water. Never going back to any location ever again. #bye read more

One morning I stopped here on the way to qork. I don't normally eat breakfast but I was unusually hungry so I stopped by since they were new. I had one of their breakfast sandwiches and it was very good! I heard some customers by me complaining that their order had come out wrong, but the manager came to them very quickly, apologized, and fixed it right away. The management and staff acted very professionally and, being the manager of a restaurant myself, I really appreciated the way they handled the situation. I thought overall that the staff seemed like hard workers and that they knew what they were doing. read more

I have to admit I was pretty excited to try this place out. I had heard a lot of good things about Dunkin Donuts. But now I'm wondering what all that hype was about. My first trip there, I ordered a jelly donut and a large decaf iced vanilla latte. I got my donut, paid, and was told to go to the end of the bar and my drink would come out down there. To my surprise it came out pretty quickly. The donut was pretty good for a chain, but not as good as the local places (which was expected), but the coffee. The coffee was awful. It had almost no coffee taste, but I knew it had coffee in it because it had a strange "burned" and bitter flavor. It was very milky with a hint of artificial vanilla. Now, I wasn't expecting the vanilla to be all natural or anything, but it just tasted cheap and fake (and for the price I paid, nothing about it should taste "cheap"). I could get a MUCH better tasting Vanilla Latte from another certain coffee chain (you know, the one that's on every corner) for just about the same price. I thought that since that was the first day the store opened, maybe it would be better a couple of days later. Wrong. I went in to order a half dozen donuts and two of the Mango Pineapple Iced Tea with Peaches. I approached the register and mentioned that I would like a half dozen donuts, and the cashier said Okay and just looked at me. Unsure what to do I started to name off the donuts I wanted in my half dozen, until Imwasminterrupted by a man standing behindher who asked if I wanted any drinks. I told him about the iced teas that i wanted. He then informed me that Inwould have to pay for my donuts and drinks, then step away from the register so the next person could begin ordering. So I paid and stepped away from the register, but was unsure where to go because the store was pretty full. I (and many others) ended up shouting my donut order to this guy from halfway across the store because it was so packed. Again, donuts were good, but the drink was terrible. It tasted like the syrups they used were sweetened with aspartame. Very bitter, artifical aftertaste. A couple days later a friend wanted to go. I went along for the ride not expecting to order anything, but i had gotten a free drink from the app for signing up so I decided to try a frozen hot chocolate with mocha sauce. It. Was. DELICIOUS. "FINALLY!" I thought to myself "Something from their menu that I actually LIKE!" Well, so I thought. I came back the following day and irdered the exact same thing. Except this one just tasted like straight up ice, and it was super chunky, not smooth like the previous one. So I told them and they happily remade it. I tasted the second one and it was better, but not quite the same. I couldnt quite put my finger on what was different until I was halfway home and realized she had made me a frozen coffee, not a frozen hot chocolate. So I ended up having to dump that one out because I can't have caffeine. I also ordered an egg and cheese bagel and hash browns. They were pretty good. So, there it is. FOUR trips to this place, and not a single one was exactly pleasurable or memorable. I'll stick to my regular coffee chain lattes and local donut shop. They're right across the street from each other, so I have no problem making the two separate trips if it means I will be a satisfied customer. read more

I was very excited for this to come and be so close to my house. I've only been in the drive they thus far, however, every time I have had a different male help me each time and they have all been super outgoing and very excited and eager to help you. Maybe it's just coincidence none of the females have yet to help me, lol But regardless it has been quick service, very polite and outgoing, fantastic customer service all around and my order has never been messed up. I am from the east, and LOVED Dunkin Donuts back there. I was thrilled to hear there finally is a Dunkin Donuts in Bakersfield. But the Dunkin Donuts I'm used to have a full selection of many kinds of donuts. This place in Bakersfield maybe had 6. The donuts were just as fresh and good as I remember. But if this place wants to stay in business, they'll have a much bigger selection of donuts than what they had when I was there, for you can't have a proper Dunkin Donuts with so paltry a selection. That's part of the whole Dunkin Donuts experience! If business is bad and they don't want to make too much can't they just make a good selection just less of everything? Come on. read more

I grew up in Rhode Island with a Dunkin on every other corner. Best Doughnuts & Coffee around.

Was at this location maybe 15 minutes ago. As my fiancé and I were ordering out coffee, tea, and a doughnut. This red head girl behind the counter made an unbelievably rude and inconsiderate comment to us about my birthmark. She loudly said while laughing "it looks like she beat you up" as I tried to ignore the comment and my fiancé grabbed my arm she said again. " yeah, it looks like she beat you up". From my understanding the Dunkin Doughnuts company prides it self on customer service. Even as a grown man who has dealt with this my entire life, that was incredibly embarrassing and humiliating to have someone say so loud the store can hear it, and she had zero remorse for the comment. You have lot my service, my families service, and as I post this on all platforms, you will lose service from Veterans and military personnel along with their families due to this blatant disrespect. I expect more from this company and people in general. I truly hope there will be resolve for this incident. read more

I've never tried Dunkin' Donuts before. So I figured I would try it out. I've always heard their coffee drinks weren't too bad. So my family and I order through the drive through. Four drinks and some donuts. We get to window and they have three young kids standing at the window just talking. The girl that was helping me had no customer service skills and was not friendly. She hands me three drinks. Doesn't say "have a good day or thanks for coming" just turns her back and starts talking to the two other guys she's working with. I'm sitting in the drive through for a couple of minutes saying "excuse me, excuse me" finally the girl with NO customer service turns around doesn't ask me what I need just stares at me. I tell her we're waiting on another drink and our donuts. She says "yeah it's coming" turns around and hands me a dozen donuts. I tell the idiot girl "we didn't order a dozen donuts" her response "oh shit" and takes them back doesn't apologize just turns back around and starts talking to the two guys. Seven mins later and 5 cars behind us she hands us our fourth drink and our donuts. Does not apologize for the wait, just hands us our purchase turns around and starts talking to the two guys. So with that being said, I one I do not care for their donuts they bit too dry and bland for me. Two THEY HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I will sooner go to Krispy Kreme or Foster's Donuts (personal preference.) Both places have better donuts and better service. Don't know what the hype is about Dunkin' Donuts but save yourself the trip and money and go to a local donut shop or even Krispy Kreme if you're going to go too a franchise donut shop. read more
