Delicious donuts and a great latte, I'd go back in a heartbeat!…read moreDonnie's Donuts in Atlanta was a total win. I grabbed a few donuts and a latte, and everything was so good that I'm already planning my next visit. What we got: Donuts: Fresh, soft, and full of flavor. They aren't dry or heavy, and the texture was spot on. You can tell they care about quality, and the variety makes it hard to choose (so I didn't, and got a few). Latte: Smooth, balanced, and the perfect pairing for a sweet donut. Donut shop coffee can be hit or miss, but this one was a hit. It's the kind of spot that makes a regular morning feel a little more special. Whether you want a quick treat, a coffee run, or a fun stop with friends, it delivers. If you're in Atlanta and have a sweet tooth, add Donnie's Donuts to your list. Everything I tried was delicious, and I can't wait to work my way through the rest of the case. Tip: Get a few different donuts and a latte so you can try a little of everything!

They have "vintage" donuts which are classic and not decorated with confections (amazing if you want with coffee or tea) and the fun donuts, which include an array of different toppings and flavors. The donuts are somehow decadent but not too overwhelming (my mom can't really eat sweets because of her stomach issues, and she says these are the only donuts that don't make her feel sick). In addition to donuts, they also have really great coffees, teas, and breakfast sandwiches. But apart from the food, the standout feature of Donnie's is the owners! Patty and Donald are amazing - there's usually one of them working at a time, and they're such a joy. The staff as well are always friendly, upbeat, and super helpful. There's also large couches that make it a great spot to just chill out after a day on the beltline. Highly recommend!

The donuts are absolutely delicious and always fresh. They don't taste like they're missing anything, even with some of the vegan options. I also love that everything is clearly labeled, so you know exactly what you're getting. The coffee menu is pretty extensive, too! I decided to try something different. I normally drink espresso, but I wanted to switch it up. I can't remember the name of the drink, but it had three shots of espresso with steamed almond milk--and it was wonderful! Try Revelation Donuts. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed. Great donuts, great coffee, and just an all-around great place to be!

I'm not sure if too much making soda ended up in the dough or something used was expired. The taste was absolutely horrible! I also had the vanilla was was soft and flavorful. Also after 2pm they had a cool special, a half dozen was 50% off.

This location is in the Summerville area which is heavily changing. There's a new Publix across the street and many new things withing walking distance. They have an outdoor patio behind Pete's Hotdogs but also some cozy inside seating if you like the old hamburger shop with countertop service. Their burgers are worth noting as well as their breakfast sandwiches. They add a bit of their own flare with a pepper jam on their breakfast sandwiches, which if you're into putting jam on your breakfast biscuits, that might interest you a bit. I'm not big into that, and I still enjoy it. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are also using fresh buns with fresh ingredients which you can't really find a lot of places in the city making their own buns. Most will use Martins, which i'm not complaining about those, but to find a fresh made bun hamburger in these times is amazing. As I'm finishing up this review, I'm reminding myself I need to go here more often.

The sesame seed bun seems to be made from scratch, and is crusty on the outside and chewy and fluffy on the inside. The pork sausage patty is moist, tasty, and juicy without falling apart, and very well seasoned. The egg was fried to perfection, and although there was a bit of runny yolk, it was not so much that it soaked the bun or made the sandwich needlessly messy. The sweet and tangy Hero Pepper Jelly is the perfect foil to the fried egg, cheese, and sausage, and for lovers of all things sweet and salty (such as myself), it amplifies the flavors of this sandwich to the next level. AND I had this delivered by Uber Eats, and it arrived late, but it still tasted ridiculously yummy, so I can't even imagine how good their food is in person!
