I hardly ever leave Yelp reviews, but I had to after the experience I just had at the Dunkin'/Baskin-Robbins drive-thru. Here's the conversation: Me: Can I get a double scoop of strawberry ice cream with strawberries as the topping?(And yes Yelp, I know that's a lot of strawberry. I like strawberry. Just ignore all of that and follow the convo.) Window: So you want one scoop of strawberry and one scoop of chocolate? Me: No, I want a double scoop of strawberry ice cream with strawberries as the topping. Window: So you want a chocolate sundae? Me: No... This was horrible! I been waiting all year for pumpkin season. I did a mobile order when I arrive and waited no one greeted me. So, I stood in line. I should have known then cause no one was there. I'm writing this review at 7:58 am on Sunday morning, 11.23.25 and have been sitting in the drive thru for15 minutes already and there are only 2 cars ahead of me! Make it make SENSE! Additionally the prices have gone up SUBSTANTIALLY! My medium caramel craze went from $4.29 to $4.44 to NOW $5.29! I mean come on! At that price I might as well go back to Starbucks where the lattes are WAAAAYYYY better! To add insult to injury they DON'T listen. I always get an extra, extra hot craze because I want it to stay hot while traveling to work and etc. So as per usual I get my extra hot craze and it's barely luke warm! I now have to go inside to get it remade and THIS is the nuances that you have to deal with at this Dunkin' Donuts in Accokeek, MD! Never EVER have I had those issues at any other Dunkin' Donuts! I go here before work and there is always a line. It's a convenient location and right off of Livingston Rd. and 210. Don't go here if you are in a rush. They do take there time. Very, very poor customer service. There were no other customers inside the establishment yet I was not acknowledged when I walked up to the counter with my niece after selecting pre-packaged ice cream to take home. Mind you, there were FIVE people behind the counter, incluso what turned out to be the manager on duty. I, the customer, had to ask to be serviced. I had to inform the "manager" that customers who take the time to get out of their cars and "come inside" should at least be acknowledged and assured someone will be with them shortly (or something along those lines) while they are feverishly attending to Drive-thru customers. Additionally, I had to tell their staff how rude it is to being speaking in Spanish, IN SPANISH, about the customer because you should never assume someone does not speak or understand "your" language. I will not be going back to this establishment; if I want my Jamoca Almond Fudge fix, I will go to one of my area grocery stores from now on. I decided to get a Sunday snack and stop by my local Dunkin. While I only got one donut, I have an opinion about my visit. Customer Service: The drive thru was fairly easy and the cashier was polite over the speaker. However, when I pulled up to the window and asked for my donut to be warmed up, it seemed like a problem. The cashier asked someone else to answer my question and when I looked up, she was just staring at me and then said "what did you need?". Again I asked for my donut to be warmed up. She said nothing and walked away to do it. Food: the donut itself was ok. I like Dunkin usually, but the care was not to my liking. All the strawberry icing melted and was smeared at the bottom of the bag. There was also no wax paper to put with the donut, which makes me question if they touched it with their bare fingers smh. Overall, I would eat at this establishment again because there was no line and it took care of my sugar craving. From my past experience, I recommend the ice cream over the donuts. read more

I've live in Accokeek for 5+ years and have visited this location at least three times. Today, 11/19/23 I went there and they were busy as usual. I went in and ask for my usual: turkey sausage sandwich with egg white no cheese on an English muffin. The cashier told me that they did not have eggs whites any more for over a year. I was just at this location in the summer and I has eggs whites on my sandwich. Any who... I ordered the sa i w/o egg and no cheese and was charged the same amount as if I had egg included. I am allergic to egg yolks and asked why cease u Brit charged the same price. The cashier had no answer very Rude and acted like she did not understand what I was saying. H got my food and my turkey sausage was on a croissant. I questioned this because the pork sausage patty comes on a croissant and the turkey sausage comes on a English muffin. I asked if it was pork or turkey and the cashierTOLD me I asked for crossaint Which was not true a bold face lie. I even ad for grape jelly and they did not remember that request. This is one of my favorite DD's. The line always goes fast and the people here are really friendly. The drive thru is the only reason why they didn't get 5 stars. Tends to be extremely slow even when no one is there. Biggest letdown is the fact that when I pull up - there are 3+ people working at the drive thru. Tip: just go in. I ordered the Avocado Toast and also the Avocado Roasted Tomato Toast and I just got regular bread which wasn't toasted and instead of the avocado tomato toast they gave me the hummus roasted tomato toast (also on regular bread which wasn't toasted). I also ordered the new Salted Caramel Latte Small size which should've had 2 pumps of the syrup but instead they only put one. Clearly I need to specify the amount of pumps I would like in my drink. This has been my neighborhood Dunkins for the last 9 years and it's management has declined in the last year. They've gone consecutive days without Butter Pecan flavor shots which is essential to the Butter Pecan latter's advertised. If they happen to get it in, they're literally out within 2-3 days (poor planning). Now I'm being told that it is "discontinued " at this store. They're constantly out of, or not serving something; match tea, bagels and even croissants! Due to lack of planning, preparation, and poor management. Their saving grace are the employees. She ask me every Friday for an entire school year to go there because Friday is treat day. She gets a chocolate donut which they always seem to have but no one else in the car seems to get anything.
