So I came here with my sister and her boyfriend and this was our first time coming here so we got Pork & Scallion Pot Stickers, Beef Chow Mein, 2 sodas, the brown sugar milk tea, Pan-Fried Pork Soup Buns, and the Sweet & Sour Dumpling. The total they told us was 70 so my sister paid. My sister just found out they added an additional 20 dollars to our total and scammed us because the lady told us 70!! And we just found out supposedly on google that in the restaurant it was 20 per person, and it was 3 of us?, and if that was the case the total would have came out to 129? So something is wrong here. We visited last night for the first time, our son had finished coaching at a track meet and we made it about 30 minutes before they closed with a 2 month old baby in tow... They were kind and accommodating even as they were closing down around us. Anyway, we had multiple dishes: the mango cucumber, the green beans..SO delicious. We got soup dumplings, the fried thumb dumplings, The potato curry ones, also a beef noodle dish..It was all very tasty. The soup dumplings overall was good. The soup portion had great flavor without being salty, the meat patty had a grittier texture than what I prefer. The dough of the wrapper is very thin so be careful when picking it out of the steamer basket. The two standouts for me is the beef noodle soup and pan fried thumb buns. The beef was so tender, noodles cooked to perfection and the oh so yummy broth. The thumb buns have a soft dough exterior and a juicy meat center. There is a touch of crispness when biting into the bun from the pan fry. The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to checkout. read more

Im not sure if these folks writing these reviews ever had a real good dumpling? I was there on Monday when it opened and the food was horrible. The spring roll and crab cream cheese wonton appetizers are frozen from a restaurant supplier. They just warmed them up. The soup dumplings had a weird after taste and they were premade from a restaurant supply chain as well. I don't believe it's made in-house hence the poor quality and taste. I could've purchased all the same items from an Asian retail store and would've received a better tasting product. Im not sure how they're passing this poor quality food and getting awesome reviews? The food was disgusting that I didn't take any leftover home. And more importantly my bill was over $100.00 dollars. Now, that's truly disappointing! If you want good dumplings, that's not over priced head to Doug Zone same quality as Din Tai Fun without the cost! I will say, all the employees were very nice hence the one star! And service was very quick cause all they're doing is just warming it up. The green beans looked good but questionable ingredients and tasted strange. Yuck! It was chaos. Messed up orders and the consents alerts on the waiters phones of a new order coming in. PLEASE SILENCE YOUR PHONES! Soup dumplings were good, big and juicy, just wish they had some ginger on the side. Green beans were not trimmed on the ends, got stuck in my teeth a few time and very salty. Sold out fried dumplings was a disappointed, 2pm on a Saturday. But hopefully it will get better in the future. read more

So, third time's a charm I guess LOL. Took me 3 attempts to eat here. First time was when it first opened I didn't know they closed early and reopened at 5pm. I got there at 4pm so decided to try another day. Went back couple of weeks ago got there at 2:15 because I thought they closed at 4 until 5 I guess they changed the hours again they close at 2:30 to 5pm now. So they turned me away at the door said it's to close to closing time to serve me. That being said I'm not leaving a bad review because of the time and I'm closing issue that's partially my fault. The review is based purely on the food I had when I was there and the service I have when I was here. I ordered the Szechuan Tan Tan Noodles. Had to wait 20 plus minutes and they were not busy probably only two other tables when I was there The noodles were lukewarm. No real flavor, no spice no Szechuan numbing. The only thing you really taste is the peanut butter /sesame paste. I like tan tan noodles had them a lot in this place unfortunately probably the worst version I had. The only time you talk to the server is when they ask you for what you want to order other than that there's no communication so the services "poor" I may go back for the dumplings but not sure yet as of right now this place is a pass for me. I know this place got popular all of a sudden because these tiktokers that get paid to go to these places but I'm not really feeling it. We got the soup dumplings, pan fried thumb buns, beef and onion boiled dumplings and fried rice. We loved the soup dumplings and the thumb buns, soup was flavorful and hearty. Thumb buns were divine! Small but packed with flavor and the crispy bottom gave a good crunch. Beef and onion boiled dumplings were good but weren't our favorite. Fried rice was good but needed more meat pieces (we got the chicken and shrimp fried rice). First time visit today. 10/10 with no hesitation. We ordered the spicy beef and scallion dumplings, combo fried rice and some noodle & eggplant dish. I can't wait to go back and try some other menu items. If I had to say ANYTHING negative: the combo fried rice did only have 2 shrimp but it did satisfy the description. I especially enjoyed the soy/vinegar sauce on the rice. Portions were large. It is in a strip mall so I can imagine parking might be an issue if it gets real busy, but give it a try. We have already added it to our list of favorite restaurants. We will make the drive from Monroe without a second thought. read more

Their food was worth the wait! The check in system was convenient. We waited about 30 minutes for 3 people on a Saturday night. When we were seated, we ordered through their spiffy online system. It was a breeze. A person came to check that they had our order right, which was a nice touch. They brought out the items one by one as they were ready, so the food was piping hot. Finally a new food option up North that is delicious! Came in for dinner right as they opened. There was already a line forming outside so we (family of 4) waited outside too to ensure we got a good seat! By 5:30 the restaurant was packed with a continuous line forming in the waiting area and a ton of DoorDash/to go orders. We got the green beans with minced pork (my kids ate the whole plate), pan fried dumplings, pan fried soup dumplings, spicy braised beef noodle soup, combo chow mein, spicy and sour dumplings, shrimp and pork dumplings and curry dumplings. Everything was delicious, however we did not like the curry dumplings as the texture was off. Everything else was delicious! Went here for dinner and found the food we got to be quite delicious. We had pork fried rice, which used actual pork pieces instead of BBQ pork that I see at most other places. The flavor of the fried rice was on point. We also got the shrimp and pork wonton soup; it was very good and pretty typical wonton soup. We had also ordered the shrimp and pork thumb buns, but after an hour of waiting they were still not provided, despite us asking about them from two different people. We were assured 'they are coming' by both, but after an hour we finally had them removed from our bill and expressed our disappointment when we paid our bill. They did give us a discount due to the delay and lack of product delivery. They gave the excuse at the time of paying the bill that the thumb bun dumplings kept breaking apart when they would pan fry them, so they kept making more to try and get them right. So, I cannot recommend the thumb bun dumplings until they can get their cooking process worked out. At no point did either person we asked about the delayed thumb buns tell us there was a problem with the cooking process. They just acted like the dumplings would be out soon. This seemed like very poor customer service. Offer to remove it from the bill instead of keeping people waiting for something that may or may not be delivered. There was a wait list of people, so delaying our exit by 30 minutes just delays other people from eating. I do hope they get things worked out because the food we did have was quite good. read more
