Ordered 8 shrimp and chicken panfried dumplings and they weren't bad. My only complaint is that I wish they were crispier and the color was a bit different as well.

The Famous Chef Thomas stopped in the mall wanting only a small snack, nothing serious, just a brief interruption to the day. What he found instead was a pleasant first experience with dumplings and a bun, both of which proved to be quite delicious. The dumplings had the kind of immediate appeal that makes one pause and take notice, and the bun complemented them well. Just as important, the worker was exceptionally kind and helpful, taking the time to explain what the foods were with patience and courtesy. Good food is one thing. Good service alongside it is what leaves the stronger impression.

Who gave an Asian place in the food court the right to be this good? The food was incredible! I ordered the Dan Dan noodles and just wow! Some of the best I've had in the whole DMV. They were cooked to order so I had to wait a few minutes but it was worth it! Fresh noodles, fresh ingredients, and so tasty! I'll be back!

I went to Dumpling ForLife the first weekend they went open, but they didn't have a Yelp page yet. I'm glad to see they're still standing a few months in because it can be hard maintaining a stand at the mall. There are FOUR Asian fast food places right next to this place, but they're able to stand out by offering fresh, handmade noodles and dumplings! I've had their Dan Dan noodles, peanut noodles, and a variety of their fried and steamed dumplings. The noodles are very generous portions. The peanut noodles didn't keep super well, but I think it's because the noodles just got soggy sitting in the sauce. When eaten fresh, though, they're really good! I also enjoy their dumplings and sweet soy sauce. I hope they continue to thrive at their new location.

Food: overall great dumplings; veggie ones felt like a different thinner dough and all of them were falling apart making them hard to dip Service: fast and friendly! Great for a quick bite at the mall.

Solid offerings for a very reasonable price. Staff are incredibly friendly! Definitely now a go-to staple in the Westfields Mall food court.

This is my go-to place for awesome dumplings in the Rockville/Bethesda area. Many other places are too greasy for their pan fried dumplings. This place makes it perfect! With many flavors to choose from, they're all tasty. I love their pan fried pork buns! You gotta try these, they're delicious. Their prices are very reasonable too.

The chicken noodle soup was very bad, tastes like chicken water, no flavor, really disappointing!

I've only seen the area from the highways that are tree lined. I am quite amazed by how out of touch I was for this area. This mall is quite expansive. The one thing I love about the DMV area is that the malls are still thriving. Not to the point where every single store is filled, but no where near dead mall territory. I had some time to kill before I had to head back home and wanting to pick up some items. Parking here had me. I wasn't sure where would be the best place to park. I ended up in the outdoor lots and didn't even want to mess with the parking structure. As a note, early here means you will encounter a slew of parents with their children in tow. Be careful and mindful in the parking lot as they will be everywhere. The mall had a bit of everything in here. The typical anchors and national chains you would expect to find in a mall. Food court area was jammed with eateries and customers. I opted to not eat here. Would definitely come back. Especially on a lazy day. Good people watching, enough stores to grab whatever you might be thinking of getting, and ample parking.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for this mall after so many years! The food court is always packed with people with many different choices. The restaurants available inside the mall is always interesting. I saw a new Thai takeaway place downstairs near where Claire's used to be. The selections of the store keeps evolving. I had no idea Lululemon moved and has a bigger store now. It's hard to believe that the malls in America are dying when you see how crazy busy it is at the Mall. I couldn't find parking until I parked closer to the old Sears lot. And that was during a weekday well after Christmas and New Year's too. My nickname at work used to be the Mall Rat Haha! I can't wait to discover what new stores are coming and going the next time I return.

I liked this place as it seems larger and can cater to a larger crowd and can pump out food faster than other branches. They have three ordering stations and a person that can order too. But, one thing is for sure, the food is good. You can't go wrong with this fast food choice.

The kitchen closed 30 minutes earlier. We showed up around 6:45 and waited in line a bit but the selection of dishes to purchase was extremely sparse. The normal 15-20 options were cut down to just 4-5, and they were out of rice completely. On the other hand, because they were closing down, I feel like we were served heavier portions which I was all for. The dishes I specifically wanted were still available so I was pleased with my experience. Numerous others though were confused at what was happening, and there was a seriously lack of communication happening with the line and new guests. Many of which lined up only to realize after wasting 10-15 minutes that there was no more food coming.

Not knowing I was about to eat Panda Express, I was surprised. It was a lot of food for ~$30 after discount and included 3 entrees and 2 sides. It could easily feed 5-6 people with some left overs. They got kung pao chicken, Beijing beef, beef broccoli, fried rice, and a veggie side of broccoli/cabbage. This is truly Chinese American as none of it had truly authentic Chinese flavors. The broccoli dish was pretty bland, no wok hei in the fried rice, kung pao not even close to spicy despite several red chili peppers, and the Beijing beef was cloyingly sweet. It all tasted OK, but let's not think this is actually real Chinese food. I guess most come here because its a good value, which is why I gave 3 stars.
