My issue is the way it is run. It is difficult to get a straight answer on pricing. Before booking my appointment, I asked how much the cut would cost. I was told the stylist is a "level 4" and asked again how much it would cost. They then said "starts at $60." Okay, so I asked again what would it cost just for the cut. They said "$60." I'm fine with that! But after the cut, the charged me $63. I asked why, the said "it's a surcharge" with no explanation of what it's for. I don't know, it is just like pulling teeth to get a real answer on pricing. If they had been honest upfront, I would have been fine with the cost, there's no need to be dishonest about the cost. If you want to charge the fees, just be honest about it when people ask... I also take issue with them trying to add a card to my account so they can charge me for a cancellation. I don't think I've ever cancelled last minute over the 10+ years I have been coming here. It would just be nice if the business was run in a way where pricing is honest and upfront and where they're not looking to gauge you for the service if you ever need to cancel. The salon actually cancelled on me last minute today because the stylist I was originally booked with had a family emergency and I totally understand, these things happen! I wish they could treat their loyal customers the same.

    On a Thursday I booked a 90 minute massage online for the next day, Friday. When I booked it, it…read moresaid the cost was $120. I never received a confirmation phone call or email. Went to the massage on Friday and only after it was over, was it stated the cost was $195 - because I have been to a Massage Envy within one year. It is absolutely ridiculous that I was not told the price would be anything other than the $120. THAT IS FALSE ADVERTISING!! The manager would not do anything to discount the price or provide me with another service to make up the $75 difference. This customer service is terrible. I would never have booked it for that price. If my price was going to be different, I should have been told prior to the massage. She told me she would talk to corporate and did call me back later that night only to tell me again that there was nothing the company would do about it. Then I was forced to pay because they already had my card on file and "could not discount it." That has to be illegal; it is stealing from me because I did not agree that price. I was told repeatedly that contacting upper management would not make a difference in resolving the issue because they would just kick it back to her and there was nothing she could do. Sent this message to "corporate" guest relations only to have it kicked back to the same manager I dealt with at the appointment, and she still would not adjust the charges. Just kept asking me if I wanted to sign up for a six month membership! Lady- I'm already pissed about how much money I spent and how terrible your customer service is -WHY would I want to give you more of my money???? AVOID AVOID AVOID
