I'm so thankful I found someone who knows how to be honest about the treatments that will and won't work for me, and makes sure I look like the best version of myself. She's also very upfront about any possible side effects, so I am always prepared with what to expect, although I am yet to have any issues after any treatment. Amy is meticulous and a perfectionist, and I wouldn't settle for anything less when it comes to my face. It also helps that she is the absolute sweetest soul with the best personality! Amy is regularly booked far out, and she's 1000% worth the wait. I have been seeing Christine for facials and microneedling, and am getting for my first halo. Like Amy, Christine is fabulous and my absolute go-to. We're on a pre-wedding plan for me, and she has made my skin and texture look so much better already! Christine also has sweetest personality, which is an added cherry on top of her great work.

I've tried just about everything out there, short of Accutane, because I'm scared of it. I've tried topical and pill antibiotics, every over-the-counter anti-acne system, every system you order over the TV or from a family friend ... nothing made a dramatic impact on my skin. A family friend who saw Steven regularly convinced my mom he was great, so she paid for my first treatment. After the first treatment, I couldn't believe the results -- every spot on my skin that was raised was flat, and my breakouts were reduced by 50% within 3 treatments (I had the first 3 close together because I was getting ready for a big event). Now it's over a year later, and I see Steven for i-derm (aka galvanic) facials every other week because of the amazing results I've gotten. The Face Loft is a gorgeous little space, impeccably decorated, and Steven is one of the warmest, kindest people I've ever spent time with. He is really one of those rare super gifted people who's better at what he does than anyone else; we're lucky he's here in Chicago. Give it a try, you'll see such great results after one treatment that you'll be hooked.

My skin felt super soft afterwards, and I was relaxed the rest of the day. The best part--I was able to walk out the door without makeup and my skin looked flawless! No irritation at all--a perfect worry-free treatment for a special occasion, or a pick-me-up. The Faceloft only takes one client at a time, and the space has an exclusive feel. The owner, Heather, is a bright ray of sunshine that made me feel warm and welcome from the minute I met her. Highly recommended for any skin type: from teen to aging skin--The Faceloft has the whole family (and friends) covered.

The front staff ALONE should win an award for their customer service. I am telling you they absolutely go above and beyond. They talk to you like you're their best friend and i'm not over exaggerating! I have also been over the top happy with my botox results. I don't really like posting negative reviews but what happened to me is just not good business…read morepractice. I received a gift from my sister for micro needling and Botox focusing on lower face, neck and jowls. The injector asked me if I had ever had Botox and I said "no". A handful of times I had only had filler. She proceeded to inject my neck and lower face stating it would give a tightening effect to jowl and neck area. Over the next week I literally watched my face age with jowls becoming more prominent each day. I called the injector Valerie in a panic explaining what happened. She basically told me that she forgot to mention that increased jowls can be a side effect and that she was really thinking I could use filler instead of Botox but did the Botox bcuz that's what my sister wanted. I told her if she didn't think I should have had Botox she should have never done it as she is the professional not my sister. Needless to say a lot of money was spent and I look older after the injections. Of course they wanted a follow up after I sent them pics but the only solution is $2k in fillers which I honestly can't afford being a single mom with two kids. I told them I couldn't afford it and I never heard back. Hoping this Botox wears off and things get better.

Right at my appointment time Shi finished with her previous client and introduced herself. Led to the treatment room and got ready. The procedure was quick, yet thorough. Nothing missed. Finally, she is super personable and kept the conversation going which keeps your mind off the task at hand. I was actually surprised when she said it was all done! I highly recommend seeing Shi at Bella Amore! If you're a dude who has never tried a brozilian, give it a shot. You'll love it and Shi will take away any awkwardness you may be afraid of. After ten years of Brazillians & seeing over 10 different Aestheticians; I think I've found the one, and with that being said there is definitely NO gray area. Bella Amore is located in the Oak Brook Promenade inside of the Phoenix Salon suites, it can be kind of hard to find so if you are not familiar with the area give yourself an extra 10 minutes in case you get lost. She is sweet, clean, & a full professional. I applaud her for being fully educated with all factions of hair removal & skin care. Throughout the process she coached me on the do's & dont's that other wax techs have never mentioned to be before. The best part about my visit with Shiwanna is that I DIDNT FEEL A THING. I swear not a thing. AHMAAZING! Her Spa is the real deal for great service. She uses high quality grade hard wax & even has her own line of products that I can't wait to try!
