Three years later and this is still my favorite kabob place in the area. The chicken and beef kabobs are the best flavored kabob you will find. The kubideh kabob is wonderful, and the gyros are literally the size of a small child. Prices are great, and the owners are friendly. I really wished to give this place a higher rating, but that would be an unjust thing to do. This place has to take the business seriously if it intends to succeed. They need to clean their meat properly. Their chicken kabob has been chewy and I have tried it several times. They don't remove the junk from the meat and simply cut and run it through the skewer. This rice smells badly. It's because they don't wash it properly. They just open the bad and dump it in the pot to cook. The owner must learn how to cook rice. He can check with MobyDick and see how their rice is clean and fresh. It's because they pre-wash it and soak it in water. The ztaziki sauce they serve is simply mayonnaise! They don't even know what ztaziki sauce is. They can't deceive people by saying one thing and offering something totally different. I had lunch here with a coworker. The place is in such a strange location, but don't let that stop you from making the trip. I had the lamb kabob salad, she had the chicken kabob wrap and we split the hummus. Her wrap was HUGE, and the bread they give you is so fresh and tasty! All of our food was really good and the condiments on the table are a huge bonus to me. The hummus could have had a little more zing, but it was still very good. Having unsweetened tea in the soad fountain was a nice surprise. I eyed the buffet and will definitely be back to give it a try. read more

Dulles Kabob is right by my job, so I come here for lunch pretty frequently. It gets busy, so I always call ahead to place my order for pick up. I made the mistake once of ordering there and waiting...ended up waiting close to 30 minutes for my food to be ready. Now I know better! Platters - comes with your meat choice, a side salad, naan, and two rice sides (white/brown), - I'm not sure why two rice types, but I'm not complaining! Both are good, but feel free to ask for more greens than rice. (note: they actually give you the same amount of rice just one type and extra salad - win!) Salad - I actually really like their salad mixture that they provide. It has kale, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, etc in it. I love that kale is the base! They don't really give you too much dressing, so if you like your salad dressed a bit more...I'd recommend asking for a side of dressing. The salad portions are huge as well and also served with naan bread. The meat: I've had the chicken kabob, steak kabob, beef kobeeda, and chicken kobeeda. The beef kobeeda is probably my favorite due to the complexity of the flavors with all the spices incorporated into the mixture. The chicken kobeeda is similar, but for some reason, the texture is a bit off putting for me for the chicken mix. The chicken kabob is normally good, but they're such thick pieces of chicken that I sometimes get nervous that it isn't cooked all the way through. I've had a few incidents where the chicken seemed just a tad bit undercooked. The steak kabob on the other hand is often overcooked and dry. If you prefer your steak medium rare, like myself, then I'd suggest avoiding the steak kabob here. More times than not, it's way overdone. You're given two sauces with each dish if you're ordering to-go. Each additional is $0.35. Overall it's a solid kabob place and lunch spot, but I wouldn't go as far as saying it's the best. It's kind of a hit or miss for me (probably because I go so often). read more

My husband's co workers order from here often and raved about it so he treated me to a gyro one night as I haven't found a good gyro in Loudoun in 5 years. YIPPEE! Is all I can say. Their gyros are huge. I can't finish a whole one in a sitting. That isn't the best part tho'. The meat is perfectly cooked with just enough spice to make it extra tasty, very fresh vegetables and homemade naan/pita type bread - which is charred to perfection. You are given your two sauces - a white cucumber type sauce and a green sauce [I didn't try] - but I prefer fresh feta which is an additional $1 on a $7.99 sandwich or salad. Their lamb kabobs are also generous in portion and taste - the rice is delicious. Not your standard fair. I don't know if they still off the "Buy 6 gyros Get 1 free" punch card but it is a great deal. I could eat them all week long they are really that good and fresh tasting. I have been a fairly regular customer here for almost a year. Believe me when I say this - if you crave a juicy, flavorful, meaty and scrumptious chicken kebab (my mouth is watering as I write this), you need pay this place a visit. I come here at least once a week and I am hooked! Cornish hen and beef kobeda is really good too. Very flavorful, juicy, and delicious. I usually get the chicken kebab with salad. It comes with a row of hot, steamy kebab sitting on top of fresh salad, flat bread and two types of sauces (never learned their names..). All this for just a bit over $11. Takes anywhere from 5 minutes to 20 minutes for the food to get ready. Usually it is pretty quick. The salad is fresh - it has slices of tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, kale and leafy greens. Very generous proportions. I got the rice just one time in the beginning and I remember it was pretty good as well. The bread has a nice chew to it and good char. ALWAYS get both sauces - the green one (something like salsa with herbs) and the white one (kind of like yogurt sauce). If you can't handle something spicy then just go with the white sauce since the green sauce has a nice kick to it. Here's a nice tip: If you eat in, you can have as much sauces as you ever could have. If you order a take out, you have to pay for extra. The reason why I am giving four stars instead of five is because when I tried their lamb or steak, even though the flavors were great, they were a bit tough. I tried their gyro wrap one time as well and unfortunately the gyro was quite dry. Overall a nice place to dine in. It is a pretty wide open space with plenty of places to sit but it can get pretty busy during lunch. The place is fairly clean and the staff are nice and friendly. Each table has four spices - salt, pepper, something red and spicy and sumac (I think) - so you can sprinkle them on as you like. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more

Very bad food and the service is even worse, the lamb smelled funny, and the beef was tough and the chick peas were horrific. The only good thing was the chutney hot sauce, please get better staff that treats your customers like guests instead of prisoners. I live in Leesburg, I wouldn't say that Dulles Kabob is in my backyard but driving the distance is totally worth it. Hands down this has to be my favorite choice of kabobs in Loudoun county. Having recently taken a job in Sterling, I've now gotten takeout from Dulles Kabob a few times. The kabobs themselves are excellent - perfectly cooked, well-seasoned and generously portioned. The accompanying green and yogurt sauces are authentic and delicious. The reason for my 3-start rating (instead of 4): I find several of their dishes to be overly spicy -- the spinach and the chickpea side dishes have too much heat, which seems unwarranted. This place is a little pricey, but go on Mondays and Tuesdays for the Giro Wrap special. $6.35 with a water cup. The green sauce is spicy and so good and there is more cucumber sauce on the table! The giro bread is baked right there for you and is what really makes the wrap! Try it out! Its my favorite giro to date, if you know of a better one in the DC area let me know. At least on 3 different occasions I've added roasted tomatoes to my order yet somehow today I rudely get told that it's simply not an option and whoever did it shouldn't have. And as if that's not enough. I receive this poor excuse of an order. I ordered 3 chicken players yet mine barely has any chicken compared to the other 2. We ate here today for lunch after forgetting about it for awhile. After we got our food I remembered that I've always thought it's the best kabob place in the area. The portions are huge and the food is tasty. I always order the gyro wrap. It's Chipotle burrito size and packed with meat! This trip I tried the chickpeas. They were really good. My husband always orders the beef kobeeda platter. It's one kabob with two kinds of rice, huge salad, and a fresh piece of bread. They've expanded their seating area and rebranded since the last time I was in. The design looks great and the new space is modern and clean. I'll make sure there is less time between visits. Super tasty and a good spot for lunch, just order ahead! They cook your food when it's ordered and it takes a while... So long that I wouldn't consider this if you only have a short lunch because you'll spend almost all of it waiting for your meal. That shouldn't be a problem if they did a better job a prioritizing orders. If someone orders a gyro with a side, they shouldn't be waiting behind someone that just ordered a kabob. The gyro meat is on a spit in the back corner absorbing flavor from slow cooking all day long. The kabobs start off raw. So, no matter what, you're waiting 15+ minutes. Hence, ORDER AHEAD! Onto the food, this place is phenomenal when it comes to flavor. The tandoori bread is cooked in an actual restaurant grade tandoor. Hummus tastes great and seems like it's made onsite. The kabobs are all marinating and prepared onsite. And, the gyro meat... omg. It may look small, but I think they're just sizing appropriately to their turnover. It tastes fantastic though. At some point, you absolutely have to try their gyro. My only other complaint is about the tzatziki... DK's is a little heavy on the dill and a little thinner than I'd like, but I'm not counting it against them as it still tastes great. They're only losing one star because of the wait. Come here for lunch at least once a week. I've only tried the gyro platter and regular gyro because it's so good and instead of trying something new when I go, I always stick with that. You get quite a bit for your money. Actually, when my boyfriend and I go to lunch we split the gyro platter and that is enough food for both of us. The brown rice they have is very flavorful and the 2 sauces they have out on the tables are both very good. The only reason I'm only giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because when we go sometimes the tables are dirty and it doesn't seem like they get tended to very often because I've had to wipe my own table down several times. That being said, I'll continue to go here during the week for lunch and would recommend trying it if you haven't. EDIT: Not sure about all these posts and pics about the lunch buffet, like i said i always go at least once a week and have been for the past couple months and its always around 1pm and have never seen any lunch buffet set up, maybe they had it at one point but they don't now. read more

I was in the mood for a gyro and looked online for something good and nearby. This location popped up. I figured why not. I got there right before the lunch crowd, although there were still a handful of people in the restaurant. I ordered a gyro and a lamb kabob (one for now and one for later. :-) The gyro meat was amazing! Everything smelt so good i had to open up and sample the kabob box too. The meat was so tender, juicy, and flavorful! I especially loved the green sauce. It is so flavorful and spicy. I finished my gyro and am beyond stuffed!!! I cant wait until I'm hungry for dinner and can eat the Lamb Kabob! Side note, I don't know if they make their bread there or get it, but it is quite possibly the best bread I have ever gotten! My only complaint would be the gyro sauce was more ranch like than I normally go for, but other than that, everything was AMAZING! I cant wait to share this hidden gem with friends/family!
