Really really good and fresh kabob takeout! I loved the chicken and beef kofta kebabs but the beef was def a little better, so tender! My wife and I think that this may be the best kabob in the Herndon area. Darya has great service, fair prices and is the food is always cooked perfectly. We have tried the vegetable kabobs and the chicken kabobs. Both are perfectly seasoned and the chicken isn't over or under cooked. The naan is hot and fresh, the rice is flavorful and the chick peas complete a great (and filling) meal. My wife isn't a rice fan, so they always provide her with a fresh salad in place of the rice. First off I go in and they acted clueless with my order and then a bread fill on the floor and they picked it up and put it in my bag which to me it is very disrespectful to a customer. Darya is top 3 kabob places I've been to in NOVA. They are consistently flavorful and delicious. You can't go wrong with their chicken and beef or gyro combos. The chickpeas and hummus are my favorite. I do wish they had flavored naan like garlic. It would go well with the hummus but the naan is still good. They give a big portion with your meals. Tandoori chicken is not good as they make it very dry and it is always a bit sour, has to do with the way they marinate it, and Kubideh is not good at all. I really like their Chicken Kufta. I've been ordering regularly from Darya for over a year. We always pickup takeout meals and have really enjoyed the food. All of the meats are prepared very well and seasoned perfectly. We really like the zereshk rice and the tzatziki is really delicious. Even the naan bread is top notch. Now for the last few months, about every other order that we have placed has been short at least one item. We have had 5 orders now that have been shorted, almost every time there has been a missing kebab from one of the platters. Each time, I have called to address the issue and they offer to add a free kebab to my next order. Unfortunately, that is five times that we have been without enough food to feed everyone when we get the food home - it is super inconvenient to have to go quickly cook up something additional so we have enough food. This last time, I tried to speak with management about the recurring issue, but they refused to speak with me. I called multiple times and I was promised a return call by the owner but that call never came. It is unfortunate that I have to post this. The food is really good but I will not be going back because I cannot trust them to provide the food that was paid for and they apparently do not care to try to address this problem. read more

This place has the WORST service ever and never will be going back there again. I asked for tandoori chicken wrap and ensured me during ordering AND when I picked up the order that it is a Tandoor chicken wrap. When I get home and look at the sandwich, surprise...ITS NOT a tandoori sandwich. Then when I call and tell them it's the wrong order....they proceed to tell me they don't sell it so tough luck and I have to come all the way back for a refund and that THIS IS AMERICA and that's how shit works. They give a lot of food, service is fairly quick it takes about 10-15 mins. I got the beef and chicken kabob platter. I also got a choice of a side and two pieces of bread. I prefer just white rice but they also have another kind of brown rice so they usually give you half and half. Their food is seasoned well and tasty. Sometimes there is a little to much char. I docked a star because they are a bit inconsistent. Sometimes everything is great. Other times the meat might be a little overcooked or bread hard.
