Today it was all about the beef kabob platter Value: great. Lots of rice. Good amount of beef. Big pita.chickpeas and salad Taste: the beef tasted good but too tough. The pita was uneven, some parts were perfect others was too hard. The rice, i could actually use less it was a mountain. I would eat here again but try the gyro platter instead. If only I could ask for less rice but more of the other stuff. That was a lot of rice, I mean A LOT!
I've driven past this place several times and finally decided to stop in, and I'm so glad I did! It was absolutely worth it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The food was seasoned perfectly, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. My meal was a little on the pricey side for lunch, but the generous portion made up for it since I had plenty of leftovers. I'll definitely be adding this spot to my regular lunch rotation. I also love the open kitchen! Being able to see how your food is being handled is always a plus! The service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was clean, welcoming, and spacious. Whether you're dining with a group or just grabbing a meal for two, there's plenty of comfortable seating. Overall, a great experience, and I'll definitely be back!
I've been meaning to check this spot out for years and thankful I finally did. The chicken kabob platter was delicious. Flavorful, juicy and tender. Ohhh the chickpeas, superb!! Fresh pita made on the spot was delicious!! Great fast casual dining with on brand pricing. The owners are great as well. I wish them continued success!! Thanks for your kindness Jamila.
Was nearby at Cooper's Hawk and saw this place. Not sure if it's been here this whole time, but decided to give it a try. I placed an order online for the chicken platter and it was ready when I arrived. I found it was clean inside and the employee I engaged with was friendly. I enjoyed my food, which included a side salad and white and seasoned rice. I liked the sauces that came with the meal. I would order from here again but won't say it's the best kabob I've had.
This food is delicious, been here twice and I love it. Highly recommended! People is nice as well
This is a cute little restaurant tucked away behind Chick Fila, a little sterile in decor and design, more like a cafeteria vibe. The service is self-serve, order upfront or on an electronic kiosk. I had gotten a beef kabob. Honestly it was a bit too much to work for with the meat, not as tender or juicy as I would've liked for hoped for. Flavor was good/decent could've used a bit more. The sauce was a "spicy" green sauce but it didn't really have any kick at all and could've been more spicy. The rice was normal, however, there was some rice that was overcooked or stale? But overall it's rice, pretty standard. The naan was good, fluffy and crunchy. Overall, disappointed in the meat texture and lack of tenderness but sauce and carbs were good! 2.5/5 Might come back to try the chicken but was scared cause it was only white meat/chicken breast meat.
Another visit tonight. The chicken is so juicy and tender. Yum! And the portion size of the beef and chicken combo - I had to take some home. I will say that the hummus and bread ($4.99) is not great. The bread is fresh, but the hummus has very little flavor. Disappointing hummus. I won't get it again.
Best Kabob restaurant ever, the meat is nice and tender with that nice grilled taste as well, love the rice and salad that comes along with your meal. Service is excellent and you won't be disappointed. This place is nice a cozy with a with a lot of seating for families and friend.
Everything was delicious! There are several locations throughout the DC area but this one has got to be the freshest. The chicken and lamb both were really juicy!
The portions are huge and delicious. The bread is also the size of a full plate not halved like in some places. The spices, sauce and flavor were on point. The place is clean and new and I would not have known about it but thanks for a Yelp search close to were I was it popped up and I'm so glad it did. Nice and light and bright and plenty of parking. Service also excellent. We will be back!

The chicken was juicy, the kobeeda has the ideal firm texture I like in this type of kabob while still juicy and fragrant with spices. The salad remained fresh through the ride home. The green sauce is a little bit too tart for me so I used it in moderation. The white sauce, a yogurt based sauce with herbs and spices, was delicious! The bread was fresh. The chickpea stew served on the side was my favorite part! The chickpeas were cooked perfectly where it was just soft enough t but not mushy.
It's always a good thing when a chain/franchise/business has the same taste across all of its locations. GK opened 1 right off the highway here. The sauces, chicken, and rice were all on point (they all taste like the Tysons location). 4.5 Stars- Service was a tad on the slow side on a weekday lunch: they got my friends gyro order right away, but the chicken kabob took about 15-20 min to get, and I get it, they just opened, but then why was one meat so much quicker than the other?

DO NOT EAT HERE: Racist, Unhinged, and Bug-Infested Save your money. The owner profiled me with disgust the second I walked in, but it got worse mid-meal, a live bug crawled out of my food. When I calmly showed her timestamped video proof, she went completely ballistic. She claimed the live insect was a "spice," accused me of faking the video, and then squashed the bug on my plate while screaming at me. I didn't even ask for a refund, just an apology, and was met with total aggression instead. This place is a biohazard run by a hostile racist. Eat anywhere else. read more
Wow, I couldn't believe it has been 4 years since my last review here. My son and grandchildren were visiting and we brought lunch to my home from Grill Kabob! The chicken kabobs and rice were moist and delicious. The beef kabobs were good, but a little well done for my taste. The gyro meat platter was tasty and tender. That is my granddaughter's favorite. I really love their curried chickpeas. They are so delicious! The spice level is perfect. I forgot to take a picture of those. Oops. Service was good. They almost forgot our fries, but my son checked before he left. They pack everything really well. The dining room is clean and there are plenty of seats. It does get loud in there, when it is crowded. My grandson loved the fries. When you are craving a variety of options, then Grill Kabob can be a great choice. read more

Wow. Food is absolutely delicious. Had the chicken and beef kabob combination. It included 2 types of rice, a super fresh salad, a chick peas side and 2 sauces - a tahini type sauce and a phenomenal green chutney sauce. The chicken is outstanding. Not a typical Lebanese style flavor, but just absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked. Beef kabobs also excellent especially with the green chutney sauce which is slightly spicy. Unlike anything I've had before. The restaurant appears to be new... spotlessly clean, and the staff were fast and friendly. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back. read more

Delicious!! Been here numerous times and only a few hiccups. Asked for all white sauce but they forgot and gave me green and white. Also ordered one time on the phone and they forgot to put it in. Otherwise the food and environment in the restaurant is great and would recommend. read more

Grill Kabob serves unique Afghan food and is made-to-order. We got the Chicken Kabob platter, which comes with fresh Tandoori Bread Basmati Rice, & Salad. The chicken was so tender and juicy. It's awesome they have a tandoor oven. The portions are generous and the food is so satisfying and full of flavor. We can't wait to return. read more
This place is great! The ladies who own this place are lovely and you can see how well they all work together! The place is clean and has many seats so you can go knowing you'll have a place for you and your companions. I got the Kobeeda and chicken. Both meats were so delicious, and juicy. Not dry at all. What a great little kabob stop! We had the lamb salad and beef platter. Bother we're very tasty and I'd recommend either. The salad was supper fresh and we really liked the spicy sauce. Oh and the first words out of my daughters mouth was "this bread is really yummy," so yea the bread is great LOL! read more
Grill Kebab seems to have a lot of stores in the DMV area, but this is the first location I've gone to. It's tucked away in the large new center at Research Boulevard, and next to OneLife Fitness. I'm always on the look out for great kebab places, and this one is sooo awesome. Slightly expensive but so worth it for the amount you get. I've tried the beef variation but definitely prefer the double chicken combo platter. I usually get double chicken to spread throughout various meals or to share with family. But there's so much food that a single chicken platter would fill you up! The combo comes with two types of rice, side of bread, chickpea curry, salad, and two types of sauce , a yogurt sauce and a spicy green sauce. The chicken kebab is soooo juicy, most places usually use breast or overcook the chicken. Highly recommend this place! read more

Grill Kabob is a family owned business, that offers deliciously marinated grilled meats as well as tasty vegetarian options. I love getting the platter cuz you get the option of two types of meat with salad and soft fluffy white and brown basmati rice, a side of chickpeas and naan bread. If you don't like chickpeas, the option to substitute it with another side is possible. You definitely need to get a side of hummus to dip the naan. Featured here is my fave Lamb and chicken combo platter. My friends got the salmon platter and the chicken and beef platter. For vegetarians- I recommend the falafel salad and the spicy veggie samosas! The fries were delicious too! Pro tip : Get extra green chutney sauce! I love this cilantro spicy green chutney sauce that is housemade. The grilled meat is already great but with this chutney sauce it just enhances the whole taste and experience . Like can it get any better? Yes! With the chutney sauce it just that delicious! read more
