We used the route services of this company and never experienced any kind of problem. Our regular delivery driver was helpful and informative. This satellite station contains two giant sized propane tanks for the route drivers to fill their trucks with and located behind those are probably close to a hundred residential gas tanks. This is a dependable and respected company and I certainly recommend them based on my previous experience.

They were very friendly and gave me a good price. I had them do a credit check so I can open an account and start the process of replacing my current tank and having a new account with him. After a week, no one had contacted me from the local office to come out to do a site evaluation. I then contacted my representative at superior, who then had someone from the local Freeman office contact me, his name was Tony. He promised to follow up with me after I emailed over the current terms at superior gave me, and he was going to follow up to come out for a site valuation. Tony indicated to me that the price that was quoted in the email is probably not a correct price, but he said he would follow up and get back with me. That never happened! I'm very frustrated with having a credit check run to open account, and never open the account. I would've never had that done if I had known or customer service was so bad. I have contacted several propane companies in the area and most, if not all seem to have horrible, follow-through, or communication, or access to live people. If you want a good propane company, that's family owned and provides customer service along with great prices. Contact Appalachian Energy. They're wonderful, and that's who I chose to go with.

He happened to have a cancellation in Cedar Mountain . He fit me in as he was a month out . He removed the vented logs, and filled a bucket of broken brick and rocks. Vacuumed it out and added new glowing sparkles. That evening I used the fire and there was no heat. Flue wouldn't close. I called Mark. He said he could not get back to me for a month. He was that busy .We agreed to 8am today December 19th and he was here early. Took everything out , cleaned. Let me check it as I'm in construction and it was fine. I have dealt with some trades that don't answer the phone or keep their word. Mark kept his word. A lot of people could have blown me off. I tried to write a check and he said no . Also , when he first had quoted me over the phone. He had added 50 just in case and he only charged me the lower amount that he quoted. If you need your fireplace serviced, I would call Mark even if you have to wait a month for him to get to you

Below is my experience…read moreas well as pictures of live wires blocking roadways for almost 30 hours unattended. #1 - the power was out for a total of 44 hours, which is completely unacceptable especially when other people 1/8th of the mile down the road were back up within 7 hours.We werent even provided with any updates and the time was stuck at 10:00 on 3/3/23 as expected time to be resolved, even after we went past that time frame. #2- It took over 27 hours for anyone from the power company to even show up in my area to take a look at anything. Power was lost at 2:30pm on 3/3/23 and the first time I saw anyone out here was at 5:00pm on 3/4/23. Also during this entire time, live power lines were laying in the middle of the roadway as a hazard to have to navigate around to get out of the neighborhood which is absolutely insane. I have pictures to prove this if you would like to see them. #3 - we were finally alerted at 6:00pm on 3/4/23 that the power was restored. We headed home only to find that that was a LIE. Power was still off. We had to re report the outage and was then told it would be noon on 3/5/23 before it would be restored. (finally was restored around 10:30am on 3/5/23 44 hours after outage started). Also, we as of this time, we were the only road in all of canton without power according to the outage map. Why did no one come back until the next day? #4 - due to having no power/heat during wintertime, we had to have a two night stay in a hotel because we have an infant child that cannot stay in that environment. That cost almost $350 itself #5 - due to the power being off for so long, $400 worth of food was spoiled and had to be transported to the dump At the end of the day, we were lied to, forgot about, left with dangerous hazards, and over $750 out of pocket. I am contemplating taking this story to WLOS or another media outlet as this is ridiculous and no one else should have to go through this and Duke should be held accountable to higher standards than what we received as loyal paying customers.

Our poorest residents get charged an additional dollar every day because they are deemed uncreditworthy or lack the wherewithall to pay monthly. If only one person out of 30 Ashe county residents uses the pay-as-you-go "flex pay" option, then Blue ridge energy rakes in approximately $365,000 a year from our very poorest residents. They should be ashamed of themselves, particularly since that is essentially subsidizing charging stations for electric toys. Shame on you.

Their doing this has cost our job and our company a lot of money, and now these people are demanding payment for a job that we did not permit them to do. I spoke with the owner, Daniel, over the phone, and he was very aggressive and rude and even made me feel like he was intimidating me by some of the things he was saying on a recorded line. They have made numerous threats to contact our customer and submit an invoice to them. I would like to stress again that we did not give these people any kind of permission to do this job. The man even admitted on a recorded line that he got me confused with someone else who gave him authorization to start a job, but now these people are submitting invoices to us and demanding money from us.
