They were very friendly and gave me a good price. I had them do a credit check so I can open an account and start the process of replacing my current tank and having a new account with him. After a week, no one had contacted me from the local office to come out to do a site evaluation. I then contacted my representative at superior, who then had someone from the local Freeman office contact me, his name was Tony. He promised to follow up with me after I emailed over the current terms at superior gave me, and he was going to follow up to come out for a site valuation. Tony indicated to me that the price that was quoted in the email is probably not a correct price, but he said he would follow up and get back with me. That never happened! I'm very frustrated with having a credit check run to open account, and never open the account. I would've never had that done if I had known or customer service was so bad. I have contacted several propane companies in the area and most, if not all seem to have horrible, follow-through, or communication, or access to live people. If you want a good propane company, that's family owned and provides customer service along with great prices. Contact Appalachian Energy. They're wonderful, and that's who I chose to go with.

This is a satellite station of the main branch located in the tiny town of Lockhart, S.C. We used the route services of this company and never experienced any kind of problem. Our regular delivery driver was helpful and informative. This satellite station contains two giant sized propane tanks for the route drivers to fill their trucks with and located behind those are probably close to a hundred residential gas tanks. This is a dependable and respected company and I certainly recommend them based on my previous experience.

He happened to have a cancellation in Cedar Mountain . He fit me in as he was a month out . He removed the vented logs, and filled a bucket of broken brick and rocks. Vacuumed it out and added new glowing sparkles. That evening I used the fire and there was no heat. Flue wouldn't close. I called Mark. He said he could not get back to me for a month. He was that busy .We agreed to 8am today December 19th and he was here early. Took everything out , cleaned. Let me check it as I'm in construction and it was fine. I have dealt with some trades that don't answer the phone or keep their word. Mark kept his word. A lot of people could have blown me off. I tried to write a check and he said no . Also , when he first had quoted me over the phone. He had added 50 just in case and he only charged me the lower amount that he quoted. If you need your fireplace serviced, I would call Mark even if you have to wait a month for him to get to you

DUKE ENERGY REVIEW I…read moream writing this review because I believe I have been victimized by Duke Energy. I am also writing this review because I fear what has happened to me has happened, and will happen, to other Duke Energy customers. My last bill from Duke Energy was for the usage period November 8 - December 5, 2025. The total for the bill was $90.95. What is unusual about this bill is that the total cost was $22.00 more than the previous month and the fact I was in another state from November 6 - December 4, 2025. There was no one in my house to use any electricity. I called customer service three times. I had to call three times because two of my call went to call centers outside the United States and I could not understand what the service representative was saying. I finally reached a call center in Florida. The service representative could not provide any reasonable explanation for the discrepancy in my bill. All she was able to tell me was that my electric meter was operating properly. In fairness, to date, I must say I have been very happy with the service Duke Energy has provided to me. However, several issues emerged from my experience dealing with this currently unresolved problem. First, Duke Energy serves 8.6 million electrical customers and 1.7 million natural gas customers in seven states. I found out that Duke has full control of all these electric and gas meters. It is very possible, even likely, that Duke has incorrectly inputted some meters and subsequently increased customers bills. It should be noted that no agency, Federal or local, audits the Duke Energy monopoly. It seems, the customers are subjected to, without recourse, whatever decisions Duke Energy makes at the meter and on our bills. No agency, anywhere, should be allowed to wield this kind of power over its customers. I encourage anyone who has faced a similar problem to write to our elected officials to get them involved. I'm going to write send this review to them and to the Federal Trade Commission. What Duke Energy does to their customers is simply not right.

Our poorest residents get charged an additional dollar every day because they are deemed uncreditworthy or lack the wherewithall to pay monthly. If only one person out of 30 Ashe county residents uses the pay-as-you-go "flex pay" option, then Blue ridge energy rakes in approximately $365,000 a year from our very poorest residents. They should be ashamed of themselves, particularly since that is essentially subsidizing charging stations for electric toys. Shame on you.

The portion of the bill that Atlanta Gas Light charges is a NON-NEGOTIABLE fee that is charged by every company that uses AGL lines. Also, in regards to the variable fee. ALL gas companies will place you on a variable rate after your term is over if you do not renew. I shared my rate of $.36 with my friend who was with another gas company and she was paying $2.09 per therm. I had two other one paid $1.79 and the other $1.99. It is our job to make sure we are not overpaying. I would also recommend to everyone that you place a reminder on your calendar to remind you to renew your plan before your contract is done. I have saved $100s of dollars and it took me making sure I do my part to make it happen.

This bill is FULL of previously-undisclosed fees. I can't recommend these people. Also, we were on vacation and missed our payment by one day. They charged us a $20 late fee plus $10 to write a late-fee letter even though we had elected to receive all communications electronically. Obviously, I can't complain about the late fee (we were late) but $10 to write a letter? Stay away from Xoom!
