I confirmed and took the day off to be there, assuming Brad would be there too. When I arrived, the movers were already in the apartment; I OK'd this with Brad in advance. I spoke with one of the movers and reconfirmed each room and pointed at each piece of furniture that was accompanying us to the new house. The movers all nodded and began delegating tasks amongst themselves. Once the selected pieces of furniture were loaded into the truck, we drove over to the new address. Here's where issues arose: Once inside, the movers began unloading the truck. Everything seemed fine as they unloaded the first-floor furniture (Couch, Table/Chairs, TV Stand). However, when bringing up pieces of the bed frame upstairs, two of the movers clunked the metal frame against the wall. I asked them to please be careful and help each other after witnessing another mover struggle to maneuver the headboard piece up the stairs by himself as the others watched. Just wow. After hearing the metal bed frame scrape against the hallway ceiling, I came over to observe, which is when I watched a second mover lift a piece of the bed frame, turn too quickly, and clank a third piece against the wall right in front of me. I took photos (attached) and spoke with the movers. Both movers were quick to deny any fault: "We did that?" "No, that was already there from the previous residents." I would like to make this clear - this is a newly constructed townhouse with 0 previous tenants. I was then told by the movers to speak to Brad, which I agreed to, and I reached out to him to determine how he wanted to handle this situation. Brad initially apologized and said he would like to come over to see the damage. Once Brad entered my house, I explained I had a family member on the phone with us while we spoke. He confirmed, and I guided him to the areas of contact as he continued to take photos of the wall. Brad found it necessary to make comments on little details and flaws about my new home and what he could have done better, having some experience as a contractor. Brad continued to comment that he generally takes photos of the new house before the movers arrive to keep a record of pre-existing damage. To which I responded, saying that I had figured he would have been there. Brad simply stated, "Something had come up." After briefly evaluating the damage, Brad said Black Diamond Moving would cover the damage. I reached out to my painter and got a quote for the damage. While I was excited to move into my new house, this was very disappointing instead. It wasn't as pleasant an experience as I hoped for moving into a brand new house. P.S. Update! My bed was improperly reassembled with screws pointing outward. OUCH! I have now scraped my leg on the bed. No, I couldn't unscrew the sharp side of it, which resulted in me having to completely shift my bed with the sharp screw facing inward against the wall! Attention to detail should be taken more seriously. It might help all parties avoid incidents, INJURIES, and/or lawsuits.

Day comes he takes a look at the carpet and he tells me if the certain cleaners work then he could potentially charge me less than what he originally quoted me. He gets the job done. The carpets look brand new. I realize that I forgot to have my movers reattach my trailer to the truck I am renting. This wonderful human being drives the truck and directs me on how to direct him and helps me get the trailer attached. He then proceeds to turn the truck and trailer around for me so I could just take off in the morning with no fuss. He was kind, professional and went way above.

Whilst Ryan, wanted "the problem" to go away, he gave me $20 for a wash as I was frantic & wanted to just leave, being so aggravated. Here's the thing, yes, I am Grateful for the car wash, but I did not realize until after we left, the layer of dust that inundated my beautiful Husky as well as the every thing in the interior. My girlfriends & later my husband all commented about Our pooch trying to avoid what was being blown at him & the interior being coated. He called #southparklandscapers to which Ryan rudely told him "I was happy" with the payoff... Ummm, NO! Had four confirmed appointments, all with no shows and no call informing me that they were unable to meet their confirmed appointment. Finally called another company and made a new appointment. Then one morning I hear people on our roof (just after 8:00am). Went outside and spoke with the guys, and they say they were here to fix the roof ( it would have been polite to call the evening before or knock on the door). Ten minutes later a worker fell off the roof, and it appeared he had a concussion. The manager took his employee to the clinic which was a relief, but the other guys then didn't have the appropriate tools. Long story short, I was on the roof with them, loaning them my tools, using google translation to communicate (very nice workers) and a few hours later they had completed the repair. I asked for them to have their boss call me as I wanted to know how the worker who went to the clinic was doing, as well I wanted to share my experience (pretty chaotic and unprofessional) with him. Additionally I called the office and left a voicemail and asked to speak with the owner (you will likely only get an answering machine like I did). Never a call back, never a visit from the manager to inspect the work, and then I received a good sized bill for labor without an hourly breakdown. I stopped by the office with checkbook in hand twice trying to pay and to speak about my experience. Very nice office staff, and they said they would relay my experience and someone would contact me. A month later, no call, email, or any attempt for communication. I stopped by today to pay as I wanted to just put an end to my relationship with this company. If you're looking for honesty, integrity, good communication, and Wyoming business values - I'd recommend another organization who stands by their word and work. This could have been an amazing learning opportunity for both management and staff on safety and customer service. Instead, they chose to burn a local family and ignore a customer concern that could have easily been addressed. Guess who I won't call for a roof replacement nor who I will recommend to anyone in this town for any roofing repair/replacement.
