We were visiting Jackson from CA. Before leaving home I had my right brake adjusted. However, when riding my bike in Jackson it didn't work. I took my bike to The Hub, hoping they could repair it before we had to leave. Not only did they repair it, they did it on the same day. The repair was reasonably priced. The Hub was absolutely fantastic! I'm doing a cross country tour on the TransAmerica Trail, and I came in with a very unique case for them to solve. These guys are pros. Such a cool shop. Dropped in The Hub last week after officiating a wedding (all decked out in my western wedding garb), to see if anyone could tell me about a bike I was interested in but can't find anywhere. I was lucky enough to connect with Hal (the owner), right off the bat and I can't say enough good things about him and his shop. I was excited to see that they carried Transition (out of Bellingham, WA), which brought me in the doors, and while they didn't have the specific bike I was looking for (nobody does so that's not a slight on the shop, that's just the results of COVID sales and the underground buzz surrounding this certain xc/trail--dare I say, 'downcountry' bike), Hal didn't just know the bike, it's his personal ride. For the next forty+ minutes Hal was generous enough to walk me through all the details of the bike and my plans for a semi-custom build. And while the thought of dropping 6k+ on a bike I haven't even ridden (a bike far more slack than anything I've pedaled) has been keeping me on the sidelines, Hal just so happened to have his in back and let me jump on it--cowboy boots, vest, dress shirt, tie and all--and take it for a spin to the nearest singletrack. Needless to say, Hal and The Hub blew away my expectations when I walked in the door. Unlike the 'bro' vibe that dominates so many bike shops, these guys are straight up pros. Within days of my visit to The Hub, I've received two emails from Hal, offering support, but no pressure. He clearly just wants to get people on the right bike and in the woods. He believes in his crew and the products he carries. Currently cycling across the country and stopped at this little bike shop after days of rainstorms and mountains. By far the best bike shop that we have stopped in on this trip thus far! The staff was so generous and friendly, they walked us through what was wrong with our bikes. Shoppers, BEWARE! Avoid this place at all cost! This store is ripping YOU off by not having their sticker prices match the price at the register. I have bought a pair new tires where the price on the sticker said $100 and $106 respectively. At the register those prices jumped to $112 each. Unfortunately I have not realized that right away so I came back next day and wanted to address this issue with the manager of the store that downright refused to take any actions in order to make it right (didn't even lift his ass off of the stool), citing that sticker prices are wrong and prices went up since then and that $112 is the new price for those tires and i have to eat it up. He also blamed his distributor for placing the sticker with the incorrect prices (which is a lie because the sticker were printed by the store and have the store information on them). How is that one me? Why am I paying the price for someone else's transgression? Customer service of this place is atrocious, avoid at all cost! read more

Really great shop. I've been riding my entire life, early days on the road and mountain biking for the past 30 years. This shop is one of a handful of the great ones, Spokesman in Santa Cruz, Harris Cyclery in Newton, Massachusetts immediately come to mind, as does the old Belmont Wheelworks when Edwin was the manager. The Hub provides great service, premier repair, custom builds, high end and e-bike rentals. They sell Pinarello, Transition, Cannondale, Ibis, Niner and more. If you are looking for the best, this is the place. Well worth the drive anywhere from Idaho Falls to Cody. They also pack and ship bikes to anywhere, Nepal to New Zealand. read more

They have tons of custom apparel and rad bikes from Niner, Ibis, Pinarello, Cannondale, Surly and Transition. The two mechanics have over 30 years of experience and one is from "the city of bikes" Amsterdam. The only Year-Round bicycle shop in Jackson Hole - they rent Fat Bikes if you're boarded of skiing. My wife and I are from Houston and have recently been camping in the Grand Tetons. During our stay there I completely destroyed my mountain bike's rear derailleur. My bike was critical to a latter part of our trip. Fortunately, The Hub was recommended to me, as they carried Trek bicycles. Not only did The Hub have the parts in stock but they were able to accommodate our tight traveling schedule. With the storm that blew out power to JHMR this past week, we wound up ditching our snowboard and skis for fat bikes.
