Such a cool shop…read more Dropped in The Hub last week after officiating a wedding (all decked out in my western wedding garb), to see if anyone could tell me about a bike I was interested in but can't find anywhere. I was lucky enough to connect with Hal (the owner), right off the bat and I can't say enough good things about him and his shop. I was excited to see that they carried Transition (out of Bellingham, WA), which brought me in the doors, and while they didn't have the specific bike I was looking for (nobody does so that's not a slight on the shop, that's just the results of COVID sales and the underground buzz surrounding this certain xc/trail--dare I say, 'downcountry' bike), Hal didn't just know the bike, it's his personal ride. For the next forty+ minutes Hal was generous enough to walk me through all the details of the bike and my plans for a semi-custom build. And while the thought of dropping 6k+ on a bike I haven't even ridden (a bike far more slack than anything I've pedaled) has been keeping me on the sidelines, Hal just so happened to have his in back and let me jump on it--cowboy boots, vest, dress shirt, tie and all--and take it for a spin to the nearest singletrack. Needless to say, Hal and The Hub blew away my expectations when I walked in the door. Unlike the 'bro' vibe that dominates so many bike shops, these guys are straight up pros. Within days of my visit to The Hub, I've received two emails from Hal, offering support, but no pressure. He clearly just wants to get people on the right bike and in the woods. He believes in his crew and the products he carries. If you're looking for a bike shop with a positive energy, knowledgable staff, friendly vibes and top-shelf customer service, The Hub is THE shop!

Riding through the beautiful scenery with the Tetons in the background made for a truly memorable experience. One thing to keep in mind is that you're sharing the area with wildlife. We kept an eye out for bison during our ride, and just a couple of days later I saw a video of someone being attacked by a bison in the area. It's a good reminder to respect wildlife, keep your distance, and follow your guide's instructions. An unforgettable adventure with a great team. Highly recommended.

I first called the shop to inquire about renting a…read moreroad or gravel bike and Greta was so helpful, offering detailed guidance on bikes and where to park to accomplish my goal of riding 40 miles out and back with incredible views of the Grand Tetons. She reserved a bike for me over the phone without needing a card. Then, my visit to the store was so welcoming. George and others from the shop were great and got in the weeds with my questions, such as desired tire width and air pressure. I rented a 54mm carbon ENVE road bike with high end SRAM electronic shifters, almost exactly the same as what I ride at home. Lastly, I brought my own spare tire bag and left it on the bike. I realized it when I got home a few days later. I called the shop and BART offered to ship it to me without hesitation. Loved this shop!

From the main store, I picked up a…read morefew stickers but not much else to say, though I did hit the Hole in the Wall snowboard counter upstairs and came away happy. Friendly staff, board came out fine. A world of difference with fresh edges. A bit pricey but if you treat it as paying for overnight storage too (if that actually helps you) then it's not so bad. Location is obviously unbeatable as it's right by the lifts. Sister did the same full tune for her board as well and was happy with the results.

Jackson Hole Sports helped make my most recent ski vacation to Wyoming a memorable one. I'm…read morerelatively new to the sport but knew from a past trip that rentals were not the way to go if I wanted to enjoy my week of skiing. The team here was able to squeeze me in last minute for a bootfitting (I had an appointment earlier at another store in Teton Village who told me they didn't have the brands that would fit my feet). And after about 1 hour of heating the boot and molding it to accommodate my navicular, Will had set me up with an awesome pair of Salomon BOA ski boots that are arguably the best-fitting shoes I own. What a delight these boots were on the slopes last week: Zero foot pain. Will even made great sock recommendations that ensured dryness and comfort. I couldn't be happier with my new ski boots, and it was all thanks to Will. Next, I needed new ski goggles, and Ali at the front was incredibly helpful and knowledgable. She recognized that a low bridge fit might be more suitable for my face. Ali definitely came through, and these made a huge difference last week with the snow storms, as the ability to easily swap out lenses magnetically on my Smith goggles ensured the best visibility. I was so impressed with the team here at JHS and made a few more trips back to the shop throughout my week in Jackson Hole. Everyone there was incredibly professional providing great service, and the store stocks the best brands and the quality of their goods was world-class.

Vadim was very accommodating (and patient) from the start. He explained the service and even worked around our family's schedule. I was very impressed. There were no gotchas and additional hidden prices. There were no surprises at all except that a locally run business is trying to differentiate himself with a just in time model. The bikes were as expected... new, maintained well and fun! I will be calling Vadim next time (which might be in two days) as his prices were fair, his attitude was great and he delivered (metaphorically and literally).
