After over 10…read moreyears of loyalty to a dry cleaner in Sayreville, I was disappointed when they recently refused two simple alteration requests: one to sew down the pockets of a fleece hoodie, and another to hem the edges of a blanket that was fraying. Both times, they flat-out said no. I decided to take a chance and visited Magic Cleaners in Matawan -- and I'm so glad I did. I walked in with the blanket and was greeted by a woman who was sweet, efficient, and clearly knew her craft. She inspected the blanket and immediately agreed to hem it, no fuss. I wasn't looking for anything fancy -- just a clean finish to keep it from unraveling. I told her there was no rush, but she had it ready in under a week. Not only was the work immaculately done, but she charged me just $25. I even offered to pay more because the quality was honestly beyond what I expected -- but she politely declined, saying she was just happy to gain a new customer. Well, she absolutely did. I'll now happily go out of my way to drive to Matawan just because of the amazing service I received here. Thank you again -- I'll definitely be back soon!

The complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service is unbelievable. If you value your clothes -- especially anything designer or expensive -- do NOT bring them here. The laundry was folded so nice and neat in two big clear bags. They look so much nicer than when I do it at home. I'm putting them away for winter so I will have to wait to wear them. After explaining to the worker she informed me that my clothes had been mixed and washed with someone else's by mistake. After 45 minutes of going through laundry we reached the end of the bags and I still did not have all my clothing. At the end the issue was not resolved and I am leaving without all the clothes I brought in and there is no way for me to be able to tell or any solution . This was the Tuesday before a Friday night prom. The owner (I don't know her name) was very sympathetic and supportive! She understood the stress of the situation. Not only did she hem the pants and let out the seat but she pressed his new shirt in record time. It was done by Wednesday!!!! AMAZING customer service!!! The suit looked perfect on him.
