I had written a two star review before this, and complained about a few things... but I have to revoke that review because I really do love this place. Its a cute hideaway in the center of downtown, with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Their Prana Chai is delicious, and so nicely displayed. The upstairs is quiet and has great couches to lounge in. Downstairs is a little more lively and great for conversing over a coffee. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to spend some time at, as the coffee does take a little time, but it's all in the love. read more

This store is such a gem! Great selection of new books as well as old. Plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs. The tea was delicious and the service was great. I found this place while visiting Bend for a couple days and liked it so much I brought my husband back the next day. I wish we were in town more often. I went here because of the cute picture of the "children's area" but when we got there the kids area was gone. My young kids had nothing to read as there were no young kids books. Would not recommend this place for anyone wanting a kid friendly place. The coffee was good though. read more

I've gone to Dudley's multiple times my last two visits to Bend, and it's been a great experience every time! Their chai is perfect, the people are friendly, and the books are well-curated. Customer service was minimal, great book selection though, a bit pricy for used books, but business is business. Coffee was all right, not outstanding. The best part about the cafe was their logo, I wish yet would put it on a bright red coffee cup! That would be awesome. Found a book and would love to spend more time there someday just reading.
