The crew worked unsupervised and failed to install the barrier correctly--leaving gaps, exposed ground areas, and placing the new material over debris and old construction waste instead of clearing it out first. Two highly reputable, independent inspectors later confirmed that the vapor barrier was not properly sealed along the crawlspace perimeter, leaving the area vulnerable to excess moisture and potential mold growth. The lack of proper installation and oversight completely undermined the purpose of the project. After requesting twice during the final phone call with the company owners not to be contacted any further, they violated my request and sent harassing text messages.

So when I finally bought my house and saw the condition of the attic, I knew exactly who I wanted to call. My house still had the original, gross insulation from the 1950s, and Brian and his crew came in and completely removed everything, cleaned and sanitized the entire attic, and installed new R-38 batt insulation. After recommending him to other people for so long, it was great to finally experience their work firsthand. Brian and his team were awesome. They showed up when they said they would, worked hard, kept everything clean, and did a really thorough job. You can tell they actually care about the quality of their work and aren't just trying to get in and out as quickly as possible. I'm extremely happy with how everything turned out and feel even better about all the people I've referred to him over the years. I'll definitely continue recommending Brian and his team to anyone who needs insulation or attic work. Great people, great work, and a company I'm happy to support. Their mark up on the fans was over 300% and the guarantee of after service was exposed as a lie when Leo simply yelled that he wasn't there and couldn't help and I didn't need the app anyway. The humidity hardly decreased, the mold continues to worsen and no one returns calls. To sum up, after $18,500 I still have mold. Definitely advise you to find another company.

This was a very expensive quote and we decided to move forward in stages to help break up the costs. He agreed and quoted to install French drains around the interior perimeter and a sump pump in our crawl space. On the surface the work looked good. However, after a rain I went into the crawl space to evaluate the drainage. The quote was for perforated pipes to be installed over 12" deep, not one drain was more that 4". I found 3 walls that were left without drainage, I also found a drain that was slopped away from the pump, I took pictures with a bubble level, causing water to stand in another corner of the crawl space. I continued to try and contact Leo but I wouldn't get a response from him. After a couple months I was able to schedule his team to come back to repair the work. I went back into the crawl space to see the repairs and found another issue of a solid pipe being used, which does absolutely nothing for ground water. I have removed that, contacted the company and no one has responded. I would be careful when hiring this company and do your follow up after their work.

Apparently I made a big mistake hiring the Unstoppable Handyman to come out (April 2026) to do some…read morework around my place. The job they agreed to was caulk the bathtub, check the water pressure kitchen sink, look into stabilizing a spigot in the bathtub. The fact they charged me over 32% more than there estimate wasn't even the worst part. I was charged $40 to look at the spigot for them to "make recommendations" after he said he wasn't licensed plumber, which I agreed to. In writing agreement $270 work order, apparently an "estimate" they emailed me. After the work, they charged me $358. I paid this but asked why the price increase? They said the "cost of material" (to caulk a bathtub??) and to caulk around the shower door block guide, which was maybe a few square inches to do. You'd think this would be included in price to caulk the tub, but apparently not. None the less, the caulking work looked good. But here's the problem - and it's a big one. I waited 2 days before using the tub/shower after the caulking to allow drying time. Finally when I used the shower, I noticed the spigot was stabilized, but when I reached down to the spigot to turn the water off, I noticed water coming out from the marble tile. I called and spoke to Preston, who is the owner of Unstoppable Handyman as well as performed the basic work. I explained the spigot was leaking water from behind the wall and I needed someone to come out ASAP to look at it. I sent him a video of me turning on the water, showing water running out from inside the wall. During our brief phone conversation, Preston stated that he's not licensed to do plumbing. He denied causing the leak. He told me, "I didn't touch your pipes," but he admitted to removing the spigot which is connected to the copper pipe. He told me that the original worker who installed the bathtub faucet (spigot) "didn't do the work correctly" and he is "liable"... "it's not up to code"... telling me it wasn't anything that he had done. Here's a logical question - if he didn't touch the plumbing, how does he know how it's "not up to code" or improperly assembled? He already said he's not licensed. I asked him if he removed the bathtub spigot and he said that he did, to spray a "backer foam" to stabilize the spigot. I told him it wasn't leaking before, it's leaking now, and when I asked him if he was going to send someone to fix it, he said no, he would not send anyone or take responsibility for the leak. Before I terminated the phone conversation with Mr. "Preston" I told him I was going to review his business on Yelp, Google and that I would also be putting in a consumer complaint with Unstoppable Handyman with the (BBB) Better Business Bureau, which I have every intention of doing. Preston retaliated during our phone conversation, telling me he was going to report me to my condominium HOA, as he made the false assertion I hired "an unlicensed plumber" who originally did the work, which was totally false. The only one performing unlicensed plumbing work was Preston, when he removed the spigot. Removing a spigot is considered basic plumbing work, which "Preston" admitted to in order to spray a foam behind the tile. Pipes can be damaged when twisting off the spigot if not done properly. My original contractor who installed the shower, Steve Miller, was not only a licensed plumber by trade, he holds a general contractor's license who builds entire houses. I called unstoppable handyman to do this work, mostly caulking, because Steve was in 29 palms building a house. After I called and spoke to Steve explaining the situation, that the guy is a handyman who doesn't have a license to plumb but he removed the spigot, "it's now leaking from behind the marble wall," Steve said the guy probably broke the solder on the pipe joint when he twisted the spigot off. Contractor Steve said the marble tile above the bath tub around the faucet is likely going to have to be removed now to repair the pipe. Contractor Steve asked if Preston offered to refund me, I told him, "no. He denies causing any damage." Steve recommended reporting him to the 'state licensing board' - only problem - I don't even believe Preston is licensed. I'll check. I will be filing an official consumer complaint with the BBB against the business, Unstoppable Handyman. There's no telling how much water could have ran down behind the wall under the bath tub when i showered on Sunday, which could cause floor damage as well as cause a mold problem. The tub and shower can't be used now until I have it repaired by a qualified licensed contractor, which will cost hundreds of dollars if not thousand(s). After I file my complaints against "Preston" with unstoppable handyman (Better Business Bureau, state contractor board licensing ) I might elect to take some time off from work to persue legal action to recoup my financial losses on this. That said, this Yelp review isn't the end, I'm just getting started!

They came to take a closer look, and found that it was an issue with the grout, and not the caulking. They revised their quote to around $600. Preston finally responded to me. I reached out to him and let him know that the photos that I sent might not have accurately conveyed the severity of my problem. I told him that I was happy to have him come take a look and pay him the $280 that he quoted, but that I did not want him to run into the same issue as the other handyman, and end up quoting me more money or needing to reschedule the job because he was unable to fix the actual grout. That's when Preston became extremely rude and unprofessional. He again had left me on read for nearly 2 days, after I brought up this concern. When I reached out to him to follow up, he told me that I would have a $99 cancellation fee if I canceled within 48 hours. I not only had contacted him four days before the scheduled work date, but I reached out to follow up with him 48 hours before the scheduled the cancellation date. Preston was unfortunately a poor communicator, and extremely unprofessional in this case. I do not know the actual quality of his work, but based on his communication with me, I would not recommend working with him. Preston - if you would like to apologize for your actions, I would be happy to take this review down.

Have had other AC companies look at the unit and do patch repairs but it finally just stopped heating or cooling. I wasn't happy with any of the prior companies and finally found DC/AC Air Conditioning and Heating. Stephan came out on Friday morning to look at my unit. As I was asking questions, he answered everything I asked and showed me how everything is supposed to function. He found that my condenser coil wasn't functioning and it would have to be replaced. When he told me the amount for the replacement, it was almost half the amount for a new unit. After going through my options with Stephan, I decided on a getting a new unit. He's amazing. He went through all the details, the pros and cons of everything, walked me through the financing and the next day (today), the new air conditioning/heating unit is installed. Stephan even came today to deliver additional material needed for the install and made sure everything was being done appropriately. The installer, Robbie and Yoxan, were amazing as well. Everything they were doing, if I had a question, they explained thoroughly. Stephan is knowledgeable, patient, no nonsense and IMO, wonderful!!! There is a deep freezer coming tonight and my home is nice and toasty. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!! On a separate note, I have serious health issues right now. Things have been so hectic, I had forgotten that I already set up an appointment for Friday morning. I apologized to Jennifer for calling again and told her what was happening. She asked me if she could pray for me. Of course I'm going to say yes, I can use all the prayers I can get right now. Now I'm already blown away by this. Then Stephan, while he was here, prayed over me. I've never had anyone do this and am extremely grateful and humbled. I can certainly say that DC/AC are NOT the professionals you'd like to work with. I've been chasing them for days now after paying over $300 for a repair that did not work. They do not call back or email as they promise. Not recommended. Edited: After posting this, I immediately got a call from Donald. Not only he claimed I was lying (why the hell would I? I WISH I wasn't in this position.), he proceeded to raise his voice and yell at me, asking me never to call them again. Mind you- all I was asking was the receipt (as I paid over the phone), which they never sent me.
