Upon entering, I realized the shop was much larger than I had expected. Looks like it may have been 2 shops merged into one at some point. We got a quick greeting at the door and then were left to fend for ourselves in the Marvel wilderness. The store is super organized and visually on point. My son made a beeline for the Spider‑Man section like it was calling his name. My daughter, who has zero interest in comics, appreciated that they also sell books, tees, Funko Pops, and other merch so she didn't have to pretend to care about Peter Parker's problems. Checkout was smooth, and the cashier immediately pitched their membership program. Totally fine, it's a one‑time fee, not a monthly situation but we're just not ready to invest in that level of comic commitment yet. Prices were reasonable: about seven bucks for most issues and one $35 comic my son proudly bought with his own money. I let him live his best life. The plot twist came a week later when he sat down to read everything... and realized he accidentally bought three copies of the same comic because the covers were different. Variant covers: 1. Newbies: 0. A tiny heads‑up from the cashier would've saved us from the accidental collector's edition starter pack. All that said, the store is clean, cool, and has the exact comic‑shop vibe you expect. We'll definitely be back, just with a little more research and maybe a checklist so we don't accidentally buy the trilogy of the same issue again. Great spot overall, just not the most newbie‑friendly. But we'll return, now slightly wiser and definitely more cautious around pretty cover art.

This place is small and has a limited selection of "toys." Prices are high and most of the toys seemed to be "Melissa and Doug" types if you're familiar with those. I don't see this business lasting for years if they don't change things up, but if they do, good for them. We will stick with amazon or big businesses for our toy selections. But maybe if you're in the area, check them out and see for yourself, but we won't be going back.

We were in the store for about 15 minutes, while the person working was on what appeared to be a personal phone call arranging an appointment. Based on a conversation she had with someone else who came into the store about the business and its sales, it seemed she may have been the owner, which made the experience even more disappointing. My daughter actually found something she wanted, and I was prepared to purchase it. However, after spending that much time in the store without so much as a hello or acknowledgment, we decided to leave. Basic customer service goes a long way, and unfortunately this experience cost the business our purchase.

I was trying to buy squishy needles for my two teenage children, who are only 13 and 14 years old. She refused to sell them to us because, according to her, they were "not kids." The way she handled the situation was unnecessary and made both of my children feel embarrassed, disappointed, and angry. Afterward, I called the store manager to share my concerns and provide feedback. Unfortunately, I felt that the manager didn't seem to care about my point of view or the fact that the interaction had hurt my family's feelings. The way we were treated left me feeling unwelcome. While I can't know the reason for how we were treated, the experience made me wonder whether bias played a role, and it left me feeling as though we may have been treated differently because of our race. No customer should leave a store feeling that way. I am without words after reading other reviews here, that totally make sense on our experience at this store. It is sad to see that my family and I are not the first and definitely not the last people that would have this type of experience at this store. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this store, and I hope management takes customer service and respectful treatment of all customers more seriously.
