Yum - donuts! I wanted to try Duck Donuts for some time and finally found myself in Idaho. After making my brother detour for these donuts I knew it was going to be worth it. first off - information overload! The amount of pre made combinations they have coupled with the fact that you can make any donut you desire was enough to make anyone crazy however we each ended up choosing two donuts which made this easier overall. The cashier was helpful and patient as we slowly took our time making decisions. After the donuts were ordered we realized that they were going to make each individual donut in front of us - how cool! They were hot, gooey, crispy, and flavorful from the second we got them. The dough was not sweet - which is how a donut is meant to be! The flavors came from the toppings which was amazing. Not a singular flavor was bad however I will recommend the peanut butter chocolate option! The inside was adorable with plenty of rubber duck inspired items to choose from. I ended up with an Ollie the Duck sticker and a couple of rubber ducks just for fun! Definitely the place if you drive a Jeep. Ordered 2 dozen donuts and a box of donut holes but only the 2 dozen donuts got delivered and I was still charged for the donut holes. I called in the next day and they knew who I was and had my donut holes at the store but they didn't care to call me or try and deliver the other half so I had to drive in to pick them up -- little disappointed in the response to the mess up (like why wouldn't you even try and call and say "hey I have your donut holes"?) but the donuts were good overall and everyone at my party were talking about them! read more

Solid 4 star experience at this unique donut shop located in Twin Falls Idaho. Came in this past week to pick up some donuts for my co-workers. Walking in this place is modern and a little quirky with some of the decorations but I think this is what made this place pretty cool. One thing unique about this place is that there are no donuts that are ready and waiting each of these creations is made on the spot and right in front of you. They do make and have some of the classics but either way what you are getting is literally right out of the fryer. I got 2 dozen donuts with 1 dozen being their fall favorites and 1 being their fan favorites. In addition to those not wanting all the fancy flavors I also ordered 6 plain glazed donuts. Everyone absolutely loved these and they were a huge hit at work...a good sign that not 1 donut was left and everyone raved on how good and fresh they were. Added bonus is the employees on this morning I was here (11/2/22) we're absolutely outstanding. The one lady informed me that the 3 associates that were working were the same original associates that started this location. Either way they were so incredibly friendly and informative. The women working at the time were so sweet and helpful. The cake base of the donut was good, but there wasn't much cookie butter flavor to the icing. The iced caramel macchiato was watered down and pretty flavorless. The box had super cute graphics tho! Try it for fun at least but I wouldn't go out of my way for it again. read more

Went into Duck donuts with low expectations as good donuts are hard to find any more, especially since it is hard to find donuts actually made on site (yeah, I'm looking at you Dunkin Donuts...). But we were pleasantly surprised. The donuts are made fresh right in front of you. They are pleasantly sweet and tender. There are a variety of toppings to dress them up. The staff is really nice and the service is great. I would really just like to get a plain "Duckzen" with just cinnamon and sugar one of these mornings to enjoy for breakfast with the family, but all of the glaze, sprinkle and drizzle options are fun. I ordered these donuts online for Teachers Appreciation Day and the teachers loved them. It was easy to order and the donuts were ready at the time I had picked. The staff were very friendly and did a fantastic job. We also ordered the donut breakfast sandwich with the maple glaze and bacon, it was so delicious. An overly-hyped, kitschy donut franchise that has tried too hard to be trendy but comes off as garish. You order in the back, but when we arrived there was a line of cellphone obsessed customers who already ordered making it unclear where to go as they appeared to be waiting in a line. No employee (and there are A LOT), informed us to meander to the back...it took a customer to mention it. Donuts are all a vanilla cake donuts with whatever toppings you've chosen. One of our donuts was slightly undercooked with a small line of raw batter. They all had a tinge of greasiness to them as well. It's not as though they are off-putting, but they are forgettable and it being the only base, should be a grand slam. Toppings made them coyingly sweet. I don't feel that them being warm added any value. All in our party left portions of the donuts uneaten. 2.5 for us, although I'm sure many will enjoy the kitsch and convince themselves the donuts are delicious. There are better options... read more

You simply can NOT get a donut made like these folks make them. They are the ONLY place that literally makes it while you wait. You get them fresh and warm right out of the cooker. The plethora of choices of toppings is staggering. The flavor is without comparison. read more

We're newish to Twin and are used to so many more options for just about anything. The donuts are definitely warm and sweet, we thought the idea of being able to chose your toppings and have them made as he ordered them was something we have her to experience. I am not a donut connoisseur but guys it's a donut, no snobbery necessary to enjoy and sweet treat! Our donuts were light, and warm and the toppings were gooey. We definitely enjoyed what we chose!
